4th Gen D/P/Pt Monotype Challenge V2

If I were to tackle the Ghost monotype challenge on my Diamond, would I be allowed to trade over a Misdreavus egg and four Rare Candies from my Pearl version of the game?

If so, I'd like to take up the Ghost Monotype. If not... I'm taking the Monotype anyway.
 
@Giratinasaur: Yes, but that's the only pokemon you can trade over.

Well, after a while, time for an update.

After getting through the routes and Mt. Coronet, I made it to Hearthome. Defeated my Rival with ease, and trekked over to Solocean Town. Team:

-Aqua Jet
-Quick Attack
-Water Gun
-Pursuit

i've been doing this one myself for a little while. might as well make it official, i'm using water type
 
I think I'll go with Steel. Prospected team will be:

Steel

Stl/Grd Onix - Steelix
Stl/Wtr Piplup - Prinplup - Empoleon
Stl/Rck Shieldon - Bastodon
Stl/Bug Burmy - Wormamodam (Steel)
Stl/Psy Bronzor – Bronzong

After I finish this challenge I may want to continue with the following types: Ghost, Flying, Ground, Psychic, and Water.
 
first update (more a recall of my game)
- started with piplup
-caught magikarp
-piplup evolved int gym battle with Roark
-used geodude for rocksmash slave (temporary)
-magikarp evolved in eterna forest
-taught gyarados hidden power, turned out to be flying
-walked through Gardenia
-used budew for cut slave (again, temporary)
-did well against maylene and very well against crasher wake
-caught shellos, and a bibarel for hm slave, so i ditched geodude and budew
(trainer card in signature, yes i know i'm the girl, i hate the d/p lucas)
 
can u put me down for fighting plz
team will be
infernape, heracross if a manage to get 1, lucario, toxicroak ,gallade
and somthing for surf/waterfall when i get fly ill ditch infernape for a flyer (wont be for battling)

-caught a stravia for fly and defog
-beat byron, the galactic commanders, and candice
-currently in vielstone
will update trainer card in sig once computer isnt being crummy
 
i would like to do this challenge with water
team will be empoleon, floatzel, Swampert if trade over allowed, Gyarados, bibarel, and starly for fly and defog
