Quiet thread, hmm...

I've cleared out the first gym, and am en route to Floaroma right now. I had to pick up a slave Geodude in order to use Rock Smash, who none of my appointed team can learn.

Also, I was wrong about the order of appearance of ingame trades. It was Kazza, the Abra, in Oreburgh, so I'm still without my Chatot. The next team member to add will be a Pachirisu in the Valley Windworks.

Current team:
L17 Oddish♂:
~Mild, random EVs
-Absorb
-Acid
-Stun Spore
-Sleep Powder

L17 Horsea♀:
~Bold, random EVs
-Bubble
-Smokescreen
-Water Gun
-Focus Energy

L5 Geodue♂:
~Docile, 0 EVs
-Tackle
-Defense Curl
-Mud Sport
-Rock Smash

Open to suggestions for nicknames for Oddish and Horsea.

Edit: Poisting my complete assigned team, mainly for personal reference:
  • Oddish. Must evolve into Bellossom. Teach it Solarbeam.
  • Pachirisu. Must learn and keep Charm.
  • Rapidash. Nickname it "N00b_".
  • Horsea. Teach it Rest.
  • Quagsire. Capture ingame. Nickname it "Quaggy".
  • Chatot. Teach it Rain Dance.

For those who signed up but didn't assign pokemon: I still need 1 more for my team before I can start :P
 
I would, but I've already assigned Pokémon for each of you.

After fainting no fewer than FOUR Pachirisu I was trying to catch, I finally managed to catch one, a Calm female. She's pathetically weak, so I needed to go back to that route by Sandgem town just to have an easy time training. She's at L12 right now and still being trained. I'll go back to the Valley Windworks to train whenever she learns Spark.

I need some TMs. :( I don't want to just trade them from Pearl, because that's lame, and IMO, against the spirit of this challenge.

Also, my slave Geodude was accidentally sent out, and gained a level all at once.
 
Yay, so my team is:

////Myzou
Pokemon Specifications: Anything, Except Legendaries and Wobbuffet.
User Specifications: Pearl, Can Trade.
Pokemon on Team [so far]:
- Relicanth
- Totodile. (Can Evolve and Must learn and keep Aqua Tail.)
- Bonsly (Can't evolve must keep Block).
- Vespiquen (Evolve Combee at level 30 - you have to be the OT)
- Zangoose (Must always know Strength)
- Mawile (Must Be Female - Nickname it Kita)

Not a big variation, should be fun :D

EDIT:

Got my Team Together :D Female Mawile took forever, haha. Went through like 20 males -.-;

Combee and Totodile I had in my box, I was the OT, so I took em out. Combee was caught at level 11, and totodile was newly hatched from egg :D

4 slots left in the party so fire away. Ahh, too many pokemon for Stall/Wall are being suggested to people. Maybe we should go more Set-Up and Offensive from now on.

EDIT: Anyone I haven't given a pokemon to yet?

Dark seeker: Geodude (Cannot evolve, must always know Tackle)
Feuer: Ponyta (can evolve, but must know at most 1 fire move, all others have to be different types)

EDIT: @ Feuer: You can't evolve Cherrim into Cherubi because Cherrim's the evolved form of Cherubi. And Feuer you haven't given me a Pokemon yet.

Cascade'A Stupidity; Take a female Misdreavus, you can evolve her whenever you want. Her moveset must always include one Ghost-type attack, not two/threefour/none, only one.

Do I get her now, or do I have to wait until I get the rest of my team?

Feuer: Bronzor Must know Gyro Ball.

Bemertonboy: Mothim Must know Gust from the level it learns it at.

Can someone suggest for me? Cause I only have 1 and I'm bored and want to start. xD
