Mm, Tales games. I like ToA, but I've yet to actually finish it. I could probably finish it tonight if I worked on it, but I don't feel like it. I haven't played Legendia, I probably won't for ages. I now have ToA and FF X-2 to finish (well, I have to start FF X-2).

It was probably better; clothes are a good thing. I want more cute clothes, but I don't have money. I was reminded of that when I stopped at Vanity yesterday. :/ But I have a coupon when I get birthday money. *dance*
I told myself I would get Tales of Legendia when it came out, but that never happened.

I've played FFX-2, but I never bothered replaying it. I went through FFX a few times and even spent over a month doing nothing but blitzball. FFXII just looked really blurry to me; I've gotten too used to the high resolution textures on PC games.

One can never have too much clothing.

Did you all hear of the TOS Sequel? I'm not looking forward to it...if only they made a prequel...
that would be amazing stuff *-*
[/taleshigh]
ToS is already a prequel in itself...

Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk takes place just two years after the events of vanilla ToS, so I don't think it'd be a Phantasia remake. The world is fixed, through things are already starting to go awry.
Too bad it's Wii only at the moment. It can't be that bad to release it on the GCN if they can port Twilight Princess to it.

Don't worry too much about it. It sucked. It wasn't as good as the other Tales instalments, I found. I never even finished it. <<;

Except TP was a port of a GCN game on to the Wii. I don't think they'd bother going backwards, not to mention there would be no point. I think ToS was more successful on the PS2 anyway in Japan. x_o;

Yeah..I've never actually played any either O_O

I was convinced by someone at this site a while back to got pick up Tales of the Abyss, but wasn't able to find it anywhere. I'm gonna go like..check Ebay for it now, or something >_>

EDIT: OKAY! I just searched for it on ebay, and the first 4 results were yaoi related fics. I..don't know if I should really bother picking this up anymore O_O

...XDD; Don't worry. The main reason most people love the Tales series is for the characters. There's so much interaction and you end up feeling so much for them that you can't help but fangirl/fanboy over them. :x I wouldn't worry too much over it. It's not like any of it is canon. It's so worth it. Get iiiiiiiit. ♥

I never finished Tales of Symphonia. I need someone to teach me how to play.

The combat system always confused me. My characters have bad AI and they always die.

Dude! That's part of the same series? I think my sister have a Gamecube (She had one..I dunno if it still works because no one plays it anymore xD) in her room somewhere, and I've definetly seen that title before. Plus, when I search for it on ebay, I get only game results, and no yaoi, so it's all good xD

I'm gonna go pick that one up now, because I know where I can get it, and it wouldn't have to be exported from like..New Zealand O_O

Edit: HA! The first result on ebay ships from Framingham, MA, which is right down the street from me!

I <3 Ebay

Edit2: Buying it now, but if it sucks, or if there are any dudes kissing in the game whatsoever, I swear I will never sign onto this site again. Unless either of the guys looks enough like a girl to be mistaken by me for one. Then that would be somewhat acceptable >_>

xD Thanks for the info on it.

What's wrong with two guys kissing?

Yaoi can be ok~

Um, nothing's wrong with it, it just isn't really my thing, seeing as I'm..y'know..more into girls than guys xD

Kissing I don't mind so much, but those fics I was mentioning before did more than just that xD

Gyakuten Saiban. I refuse to refer to it by its Anglicized name.

I never got what was so good about that franchise to begin with. Sure, the characters are interesting, but the plots are so linear that they make Final Fantasy look like Baldur's Gate II, there's no replayability at all, and their collective representation of the legal system is quite flawed.

That said, Gyakuten Saiban would make for an excellent anime, manga, or live-action series. Even then, if I wanted legal comedy, I'd just go watch Harvey Birdman.

lol~ teh boi sex.

Anyways, I still hate the combat system in ToS.

Yep, "teh boi sex," is exactly what I was trying to get into without saying it a straightforeward as you just did. XD

Um, how? Isn't it just like a regular turn based RPG? That's what wikipedia said on it...

Let's not try to be too wapanese now Jack~ I'm not sure why the English name would offend your precious Japan-lust so much.

And now, it's real time battling...kinda weird. But it's a little tricky.

a real-time battle system, as opposed to the turn-based systems used in traditional role-playing games. During battle, up to four characters can be controlled by players.

No wait..yeah, I saw "Turn based" highlighted in that sentance, and it stood out to me without actually reading the full sentance xD

Meh, whatever. I'll just check it out sometime myself. I actually already bought it, so now I'm screwed x_x

Nothing like watching a pot call a kettle black.

It's quite obvious that I have contempt for that series in its current incarnation, regardless of whatever name you choose to call it.

Get back to me when they've made a Gyakuten Saiban anime and/or live-action adaptation. The manga's already being serialized in Japan, and Del Rey is planning to bring it Stateside sometime next year according to Anime News Network.
