I want to see if you guys think or are intrested in watching Pokemon on CN everyday now since Wb cut weekdays KidsWB. Do you think they will push to show Pokemon everyday in the afternoon or something?

I wish we could since we're so behind in reruns (still no sixth season reruns) but given CN's insanity, I doubt it for they'd rather peddle their own crap instead of licensing say 10 episodes a week as opposed 4 a week as they're doing now.

    So it's all bottom line.

I'd rather they do the Kanto stuff and work their way up but money, money, money.

But hey, Pokemon Heroes aired on the network this week, so there is hope.

I really hope they show the Kanto Episodes. I mean they are old but great. I mean the younger fans need to see those. Then they may not be intrested becasue of it being old and a bit ugly as they will say. I mean have any of the new fans even seen Ash's Charmelon?

Unlikely that new fans will have seen that particular episode, or any episodes before Advanced. (I barely remember that episode myself! *sob*)

I didn't think the old color scheme was "ugly", just different. The Voice Actors, though, have change quite a bit since then. For example, Ash's VA, Veronica Taylor, no longer stresses on sounding too much like a boy anymore.

Oh yeah, and Pikachu's lost a bit of weight as well. Must be the constant walking!

After breezing through the week's schedule on Cartoon Network's official site, it looks like every weekday, there's a random movie on at 11:00 AM EST. Because of this, I really doubt that CN will increase the frequency of Pok?mon to more than 4 times a week.

Oh, and since yesterday's showing of Pok?mon: Heroes, that officially means that Cartoon Network finally showed all 7 Pok?mon movies thus far. It's about time! (that movie suprised me to no end...)

I don't think the animation of the original Kanto was ugly but more angular I think. Whereas now everyone is more rounded and less of an edge to their designs.

Question, given the cheap anime station CN has become, do you think adding Pokemon would be a good thing or would it just continue the bad image CN has made for itself?

    Just food for thought.

I said ugly because that how some people see them. I mean I talked to some little kids who I showed the old episodes to and they were like. "How come Ash looks different?" or "Why is Brock like that." I thing the old animation is ok. I mean when they do get Professor Oak's eyebrows the right color.

What is your difition of bad image on CN?

    Eegah, where to start.

    1) Anime, so much cheap anime that you can't watch American made shows and those you can are all CN's characters, nothing of license or going fast with the DC hero shows and Yu-Gi-Oh GX.

    2) Wanting another season of a show that was ready to end last season ago by the writers and then yanking the plug on it because if they do, too many cliffhangers? And it's still a moneymaker to boot? I refer to Titans.

    3) Any good anime like Pokemon won't air the older episodes or the current enough ones because they're too cheap to pay for them?

    4) Live action movies which have nothing to do with animation? Although they did air the fifth movie this week.

How is that for a start?

Some can argue that the movies somehow tie in to the show, most notibly the first movie. The other movies? Not as much so. (or not at all...) Still, the movies do follow certain episodes, according to the Japanese schedule. It's WAY off for the American show.

The thing about CN is that they want to keep up with what's hip, like those on Dewford Island. I haven't seen many old episodes of any show on that station for a long time. I'm guessing if it's not new, they don't want to keep it on. (with exception to movies, of coruse)

Oh. So like I was saying before (Or tried to) that if pokemon was being shown everyday then it will be the AG and possibly the Johto Championships.

Hmm. You're may be right about that one, Reyna_fire. Sorry if we seemed like we were avoiding your question.

At most, I think they'd show only Pok?mon: Advanced as the newest season. Maybe they'll show newer ones, but it's unlikely.

I think it's weird myself, because early last season's Yu-Gi-Oh episodes did air on CN and then...blank, so given that, I could think they could do Advanced if they wished but they, like dqle said, want to be hip. Almost MTV like.

Although I do think an answer better reached soon, Kids WB isn't going to rerun Advanced Challenge again or Advanced Battle at the rate we're going. Perhaps a letter drive?

Because that maybe the only way to get em to off their you-know-what.

I mean they can do it. Not everyday but still like anybody will watch Johnny Test at 7:00 am. I mean it is a very bad show. They can show reruns of Pokemon shows in the first hour and give Johnny Test his old time or something.

CN is like MTV when it comes to animes and and it is the thing of the moment. Notice that they showed Pokemon when new games were on sale.

That will be great if Pokemon show everyday!
But, I don't think CN will show Pokemon everyday!!

When it comes to older seasons and the animation, they do differ obviously as recent seasons animation is crisper and better but the old isn't so rugged as to call it ugly.

As for it airing alot on CN, that be cool but knowing CN there ability to do re-runs are great though its hard to say how long it take for them to show new episodes and the first season as look at DBZ and how many years it took them to get back to the Saiyan Saga.

We just going have to wait for a new game to appear. Give it some time. The show is an advertisement of the game. Both here and in the US. So we have to remember that.

Probably not. Most of CN is devoted to garbage these days, anything interesting gets moved to Boomerang, with the exception of Zatch Bell and Naruto.:chu:

That not true. The old shows from the 70's get moved to Boomerang.

I agree that somethings on CN is trash but some stuff is funny.

Still one thing has not change which is the show is a advertistment of the games. Now I wonder how will they sow Pokemon everyday to get people to watch.

But it's the old shows that were funny! Luckly, CN still shows Tom & Jerry. I do miss Looney Toons quite a bit now...

True that the show is an advertisement of the games of sorts, but not entirely. The producers could've tied the show with the games even more, but that'd make things boring since you'd be learning about the same story twice. In a sense, the show is also just a show that you and I watch everyday that doesn't advertise about their games or any other product.

And Pok?mon everyday? For some reason, I have a gut feeling that, in the US at least, no network is willing to show Pok?mon everyday...
