Well fellow members of PC, you all know what happend and every thing.
While the chaos was going on I was able to save a conversation a few of the Mods and Admins had in the Mod Lounge.
What you are about to read is straight from the Mods and Admins minds and finger tips, this is what they had to say and nothing has been added or taken away by me.

Okay guys, sigs are really becoming a problem around here. We've tried imposing sig limits, but they're becoming such a big problem that we can't edit them all. So I think we should really look into just getting rid of signatures altogether. Or at least get rid of images in sigs, if nothing else. =/

Just get rid of them...for members that is, especially those who like to stuff a chunk load full of sprites in them, and those who just treat their sig like their own personal webpage. Face it, members can't be trusted with them, they'd only stuff crap in them. Whilst we're actually the only ones who are sensible when it comes to what we put in our sigs -_-

I say you should take out images, and links too. That way, the poor members can't advertise their fourms either. That'll teach them! ;D
However, make sure to leave it so the superior staff can have all of the privileges. =D

Just ban signatures altogether! And make it so that only mods are allowed to have them~
If that doesn't work, make the limit of only three letters and a 1x1 pixel image. ^_^

Seeing as the average signature consists of little more than crappily-done pokemon egg sprites, a list of those entirely useless family relations, that song from FFVII with the member's name in the place of "Sephiroth", a 1280X640 image of the Nintendo DS, a doujinshi scan or two of Roy Mustang and Edward Elric doing it, a link with mistyped tags to their Xanga, and a link to the Battle B-Daman/Pokemorph crossover RP it took them three painstaking weeks to plan out, I say get rid of it. They're so awful that I have signatures turned off and they're still an eyesore.

Oooh, now that's torture. Only having three letters and a 1x1 px image... It's even worse than not having a signature at all.

Thanks, Sammi. I'm sure it's only for the benefit of all PC members. As moderators, we know what's good for them. They have no say, what with all those nonsensical advices.

I like my sig, so let's just get rid of member's ability to have sigs. Staff can and members can't!

Hey, as long as I get to keep my own sig, then I don't care what happens to any of the others.

Maybe taking them away right away is a little harsh. It would probably be better to phase it in slowly so that by the time the semi-intelligent ones we haven't banned go, "hey, our sig limits are getting smaller," we've already taken them away.
And then we phase out avatars.

For avatars, we should reduce the limit to 60 x 60, or phase it out slowly like you suggested. That's even worse than SPP.
Or force them to use PC's avatars. o_o

But, if we want to torment the members who actually put in the time and effort to have custom avatars, we could always limit them to Caped Mewtwo and thumbs-up Kenta. They should be grateful we're even giving them more than one avatar.

Good thinking, Cowrie; if members choose those frequently in the first place they must have some primitive form of quality apparent only to lower life forms...so...erm...thumbs-down Kenta?

How about famous dead scientists? Like I've mentioned countless times before, we've banned or modded all the smart people--the only one's who'd actually enjoy that--so no one would even know who their avatar was of.

Even better, how about a set that shows each individual block on the periodic table? Choose your atom, and you get to see its molar mass, atomic mass, and electron count for free...

You don't have to use them, though. And actually, it's better if you don't since if members see you using it, they might think it's cool to use them...and that's not the effect we're going for here. D<

I agree with Erica - phase out signatures. That way, they can't say, "THE STAFF ARE BEING BIASED ZOMGZ THEY TOOK AWAY OUR SIGNATURES". ;D We're intelligent, and we do all of the work around here, so we deserve to keep ours.
Let's get rid of all the avvies, custom avvies, too. Most of them are ugly pictures of some ugly animé character looking stupid, and worse still, all distorted by .GIFness. ;;
