"Oh! I do. Headmaster wants to see us... I think he'll be here soon, I hope," Jynsi stands for a moment and steps over to Vincent, before gently waving her hands, trying to herd him to the couch. "What is *your* name?"

Feeling a little foolish, Jynsi gently hits her forehead with the palm of her left hand, before scratching behind Vincent's right ear with her other hand. She slowly slips back into her seat on the couch, her hands crossed in her lap.

< SO the Headmaster brought us here then? That was kind of him. My name is Vincent> I told them all. < I'd appreciate you didn't do that though> I told Jynsi.< I don't like being touched.>

I began moving forth once more, on my search again. Although I was enjoying meeting Jynsi, as she seemed nice and eager enough, I was already feeling crowded. I fluffed my wings a bit, turning back to watch a single feather fall to the ground. < How I long to be free> I said.

Sharu rolls his eyes and lays down in front of the fire again. He's bored out of his mind and wants all of this to be done and over with already. He decided he would just lay here and snap at anyone who came close to him simply because he was bored and wasn't in any mood to socialize. Who knows... someone might even still be brave enough to try to talk to him still

Sharu lifted his head and looked aorund the room again, counting alll those who were there. 4 so far, including himself... He growled and layed his head down again, getting slightly pissed at the fact that the others were late. He layed his head down and closed his eyes again, trying to block out the commotion going on around him.

"Ooh, Vincent doesn't like to be touched?" Jynsi grins before hopping to her feet and poking Vincent's side, and quickly leaps over the couch, quietly. She clears her throat and crosses her legs daintily[sp?], as she stares at the fire, trying not to look at Vincent's eyes in reply to her touching him.

Seeing how Sharu is isolating himself, Jynsi stands and creeps up behind the Renil, before quickly grabbing the large cat under the arms, and dragging him over to the couch. She plops onto her own seat, and drags Sharu onto the seat as well, so that he is half laying on her lap, and half on the empty cusion next to her.

Sharu's eyes shot open when he got picked up, he was wondering who the hell just touched him. When he spotted Abayomi elsewhere, he figured it could only be Jynsi since no one else had entered and he relaxed a little. He didn't like being touched at all by people he didn't know and if someone did, they'd find out just what it felt like to have a vise on their arm. A very angry, living vise.

When Jynsi plops down and lays him down in her lap, he relaxes a bit more and closes his eyes again. He shifts slightly to get a bit more comfy, but is mindful of where he places his head, he may know Jynsi very well, but he doesn't think she'd appreciate that one.

Jynsi smiles as she runs her hand along Sharu's spine, and scratches his back, near the base of his left wing. She leans back and watches the door, awaiting the moment when someone else would walk through the door way, her foot gently tapping the floor.

Humming to herself, Jynsi looks at the others, now quite bored.

"Is anyone else really, really bored?" She lets her head fall back, against the back of the couch, as she sighs.

< Is it really necessary to answer that? It's quite obvious you aren't bored though. You and he keep each other occupied nicely.> I said playfully. < Was anyone else supposed to be joining us? If they are, they're very late.>

I didn't mind though. Things here were getting interesting and I was actually enjoying laughing at Jynsi and Sharu. They're getting along nicely for two so different people.
< It seems I was wrong...> I thought.

Jynsi looks over at Vincent, her eyes wide, before looking down at Sharu, snickering.

"Sharu? Another Renil wouldn't even want him!"

Giggling, Jynsi continues to scratch the base of Sharu's wings, her toes beginning to go slightly numb from the weight of the animal on her lap. She wiggles her toes slightly, before staring into the fire for a few moments.

"And I think so, I think others are supposed to be here...I'm not sure, though."

Sharu looks up at Jynsi and and narrows his eyes, but smiles to let her know he's not being serious with the evil look. <C'mon Jyn, i don't look or act that bad, do i?> He shakes his head and looks over at Vincent for a second, then closes his eyes and rests his head on Jyn's lap again, still mindful of where it's being placed.

Shortly after he layed his head down, he felt a strange rumbling in his stomach and the noise that came with it was easily heard. He lifted his head quickly and his ears shot straight up, then he looked down for a moment at his stomach. He looked up at Jynsi and blinked again, an odd look on his face <uhhhh, Jyn....you got anythign to eat handy?> He hopes she doesn't think his mind is in the gutter as it usually was and takes him seriously.

Jynsi giggles as she gently shoves Sharu from her lap, and points to a lone door, off to the side of the room.

"There should be food in there," she says, as she laps the couch a few times, trying to regain the feeling in her toes, and to get the blood flowing through her legs.

Jynsi jumps slightly as a crisp, sharp knock emits from the door, and the wooden barrier separating the students from the outside world slowly opens. There stands an old Wemic, with greying fur, his dark eyes sharp with wisdom. He enters quietly, followed by two Avariels, both angry looking males, with light eyes and dark wings. One was taller than the other though, and had a Pudao as a weapon, as the shorter one had twin Katanas. The Wemic and the Avariels made their way over to an empty table, waiting for the other's attention, and the old Wemic comforts homself on one of the chairs, the Avariels standing behind him.

Sharu turned to the old Wemic and his Fur suddenly stood on end and his smoky blue eyes flared a reddish shade. He HATED Wemics, he'd always been put around the stuck up ones and had thus gained a severe hatred for all Wemics. Regardless of how different they may be, he hated all wemics on sight and, until he's proven otherwise, will not trust them at all or let them out of his sight with anyone he knows.

However, this was the headmaster and, where he would have normally hissed at him, this was the one wemic throughout the entire school who he actually trusted, but the initial sigh tof a wemic, no matter who it was, set a jolt of rage through him. He simply nodded to the headmaster and sat down where he stood, an utterly serious look on his face now and his eyes back to their cloudy blue color.

I draped both of my arms over the couch, grinning idiotically at the Headmaster and his escorts. Better to be thought an idiot and surprise them then have them overestimate you. "What's this about" I said with an air of surprise.

One of the Avariel made a sharp noise, as if to silence me. Idiot. I found it hard not to laugh, this couple seemed to take themselves far too seriously.

< For a Renil, you should try and act more civil> I told Sharu.< Don't give them anymore reason to hate and distrust us. If you do, I'll personally get rid of you.> I smiled a bit at my last statement and directed my attention to the headmaster.

< As it's already been asked before, just what is going on?> I asked.< I'm sure it's important, but just why are we here? Better yet, why such a mixed group of races?>

A small smile crossed Sharu's face as he heard Vincent. He wasn't intimidated by Vincent in the least bit, so this little threat had basically no effect on him, but he still knew he'd have to be at least a little careful... even those you don't fear can still be dangerous.

<If you don't like me, then ignore me, but do not threaten me. do it again and you'll see just how bad i really am.> Sharu directed that at vincent, in a calm tone, no hint of any other emotion anywhere in his words. He had kept his eyes on the headmaster this eintire time and had not moved an inch otherwise, the only thing was a few blinks and a yawn, those were his only movements. He would not show fear in front of anyone, nor would he show any signs of hostility toward them, it just wasn't his style... sneak attacks, however, were much more fun.

"Only four of six? It doesn't surprise me that you lot showed up, you're the stronger of the six I sent for. Ah well," He eyes the two Renil. "Hush now, you two."

After clearing his throat, the Headmaster began, "Anywho, I have summoned you all here because you are accelerated with your talents...Each of you brings something different to the table. The teachers and I here at Darilus le'Crussant have specifically chosen you lot."

The old Wemic looks up at the Avariel on his right, and the winged elf hands the elder a glass of water, seemingly from no where. His voice a little hoarse, the Headmaster continues, "Things have been happening. Strange, unexplainable things. We, the teachers and I, have been frightened as of late, and have been keeping it hidden from the students to keep a sense of calm among them. A couple students have...turned up...dead. There is one common trait among all of them though; they all had their hearts removed."

He closes his eyes for a moment, before leaning back in the chair, his tail laying still at the base of his chair. "You four, maybe five or six if the other two come, have to do what you do best, and use your strengths, and WORK TOGETHER," he stresses the last two words, his eyes firm as he locks his gaze into each of the students'. "and stop whatever is murdering our students, your classmates, and to keep the others safe from harm."

< Their hearts? Why would anything want hearts? It doesn't make sense to me, but then again, hearts aren't my area of expertise. Would you happen to know why it's their hearts they're taking Headmaster?> I asked, still surprised that he had heard Sharu and I.

I knew his kind were different, but I never knew they were telepathic. At least, not on the same level as Renils. The fact that he was able to here what Sharu and I said was still new to me. He was the first, and probably only person I'd ever meet who could do that.

Sharu was about as surprised as Vincent that the headmaster had heard them, but he'd have to think on that one later. this new problem concerned him a bit. <Their hearts....was there anything else that the bodies had in common besides the missing hearts? Race, gender, or behavioral patterns...something more to go on than just missing hearts.>

Sharu looked at the ground, thinking on this matter... why would someone want hearts? It made no sense.. there had to be something else the victims had in common. something... someone wouldn't just go around removing people's hearts at random. Sharu looked back at the headmaster, waiting for an answer to his question. Without that answer, there would pretty much be nothing else to go on and this whole thing would lead nowhere.

"...They were all Wemics. At the bottom of their classes. And they were all female," the Headmaster answers, her gaze averted to the ground. "Anything else?"

"Uh...Bottom of their classes? Was there anything about common age, or anything?" Jynsi questioned, a look of confusion painted across her face, her forehead scrunched up slightly.

The old Wemic narrows his eyes slightly, but answers, "They were all 7 to 9 years of age...The classes they were in were basic, first year classes. They all had Basic Alchemy and Basic Race Education. Nothing out of the ordinary."

(Ages 7-10 are about teenage years for a Wemic. Same with Renil, btw. Teenage years for a Fierum range from 13-17 years.)

<There's still something missing... there must be more. Any behavioral patterns, specific wound shapes, anything? There has to be more links, something more than that...> Sharu laid down and buried his nose in his paws. Something still wasn't fitting... there had to be at least ont more thing there, something else... anything else would help them connect the killings easier, the range of suspects now was still far too broad.

<What about times of death? That would help us a great deal in preventing another killing... can you tell us that?> Sharu staryed thumping his tail against the ground, trying to fit the puzzle together in his mind. There were still missing pieces and without them, it wouldn't work, they'd never find the killer...unless they monitored every single student and watched for strange behavior in every single one, but that would take too long.

"Wemics" I asked, cocking my head to the side. "Female too. Any signs of any crime aside from murder? Rape, theft, anything?"

I carefully stretched my wings to either side, relieveing the tension I felt in them. My arms went along for the ride. As if classes weren't enough, I had this to add to my load of concerns.
