    This is a thread I want to start for ALL of the people that love the games Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2.
    First of all I'd like to say that Dark Cloud isn't a pure RPG, but still, the story line is perfect, the advantages you have of upgrading weapons, throwing items, changing into various is just...cool. I still think they went a little overboard with the bosses, expecialy the Dark Genie. He's just too hard, even though I never fought him: even watching someone fight him makes you shakey!
    Dark Cloud 2 is better, though. I like that you can breed your fish, change clothes, and your weapons won't break and disappear! But the best part is...they talk! The only bad thing is that you can't name your character unless you get that name changing thing for tons of money. It's useless, really. I also like that you can put the houses and stuff at almost any angle. I think this game is a combination of...Final Fantasy 10, Sim City, and Zelda! Wow, what great games...
    So, anyone need help or anything?
     
    I have never played.But I'm thinkin about getting dark cloud.. or the second one. the get really good ratings!
     
    I wasn't too sure about Dark Cloud 2, even though the first one looked great. So I decided to rent Dark Cloud 2, and at first it seemed to be a diffrent and cool RPG. That is the storyline, I thought it was horrible but thats just me.

    With the idea of taking pictures and editing towns the way you want, now that was a great idea. Well the battle system was kind of annoying and the level design was dull, so I gradually stoped playing it. I never beat it, maybe I will rent it again, and give a second look at it.

    Well. Most rpg's have bad story lines. Just like JAK2.
     
    Jak2 got a 3...that's why it's so bad. The first one was great.

    I didn't finish the first Dark Cloud :X. I can't get past the floor in the Gallery of Time where you're Goro (or, as I like to call him, the big-fat-ugly-slow-good-for-nothing fat guy!).
    I still started Dark Cloud 2.

    I did beat Dark cloud2,it is an okey game but the story line is horrible,"save the world from Griffen who is actualy a dark spirit contoled bunny".
