    Alright, So here is where I'm going to put my Pokemon related sprites.

    I like the sprites in the original games for many of the pokemon, I just think they need some updating.

    So, before I do much in the way of scratch spriting, I intend to update this red/blue spritesheet to GBA graphics. I also started on the spritesheet for yellow, I don't know what I will do with that one yet.

    Cheeky how? If you want to help be my guest. I figured out if I do 4 per day it'll take me 37 days to complete just the blue ones. And I doubt I'll consistantly do 4 per day.

    If you think you wanna help that's great. (If you can that is.)

    It's alot easier than scratch spriting obviously. Basically color in a Ruby/Emerald fashion, using the colors from those games, and then redraw things that just don't look right (I redrew charmander's face details and the fire on his tail.)

    The hard part is upping the colors and removing the black lines in a way that looks good. :P

    A few are likely beyond saving: Pikachu, Raichu
    And some just need editing: Eevee

    etc.

    and then there are the yellow sprites. which same basic Idea, but less redrawing would be necessary.

    I think my current favorite is the Blastoise.

    And I think I may have forgotten to fix the outline on the Kangaskhan. I'll look at it after I sleep. It's 4:51 am here.

    But if I get the idea of revamps, I would help you.
     
    Glad you guys like them.

    Some of the sprites aren't worth a revamp, cause they looks so bad.

    Bulbasaur
    Pikachu
    Raichu
    Geodude
    Pidgey Pigeotto, Pigeot

    Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

    Can you guys think of any others? anyways. I'm off to bed

    Kangaskhan finished, started on another sprite too. :)

    What do you plan on doing with these?
    Do you want them to be used in a game?
    If so i strongly suggest you not to revamp, b/r because the anatomy and such of the pokemon are terrible.
    Good job though
     
    Not all of them have terrible anatomy. I'm not really sure what I'll do with them. I mean, I intend to shove the good ones into my fire red rom for my own amusement, but beyond that, I dunno. They COULD be used in a game.

    Perhaps you could give me a hand, say help me out by pointing out the ones whose anatomy is beyond repair. Alot of them are only a little off and just need a bit of a redraw.

    I think that in some cases, I may jst use the yellow version sprites, if the yellow version sprites are not as fubar as the blue/red.

    Some I think I'll have to do scratch sprites for, like Pikachu.

    If you wanna help me out by listing some of the ones that are really bad it might help.

    Anyways, I redid Nidoran and Nidorino, I'll put thm up now.

    A bunch of them still need the outlines lightened, and I'll get to that later. :)
     
    Well.. just to name a few, machop, machoke, machamp, moltres, ryhorn, rhydon, mr mime, eevee, kabuto( THAT THING IS TERRIBLE!), dartini, mew.

    But some of them are good. Like scythe, magmar, jynx.
    I am VERY excited to see how you do scyther btw
     
    hmm whats wrong with the Mew? that was one of the ones I thought was just fine as is. lol

    Dratini will be easy to make look right. it's dragonite that looks awful. lol

    New Updates guys: A Ghastly redraw, and a semi-scratch Pikachu.

    The Pikachu is a little bit big though, so I'll see if I can make it smaller tomorroe. :)

    The reason the pikachu is only semi-scratch is that I based it on a screenshot from the anime: pose included. It's obviously not just a tiny copy, but theyre really similar.

    So Yeah, its not an original scratch sprite, its based on that.

    Anyways. I made Pikachu smaller, and did Wartortle and Scyther. :)

    Refresh the page, or clear out your cache. Your PC is likely using a local copy due t the same filename of the pic.
