Darkness Unleashed

Plotline: In the six regions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Orre, Fiore, and Sinnoh, a Darkness has been working underground for 3 years since Team Galactic's downfall. Team Rocket, Team Aqua, Team Magma, Team Snagem, Cipher, The Go-Rock Squad, and Team Galactic have been working together to make a super-powerful team. They have advanced the Shadow Pokémon project to actually add the Dark type to pokémon. These pokémon, now called Dark Pokémon, are much harder to purify. Team Dark, as these combined groups call them selves, are made up of Grunts from the disbanded teams, Admins and Elites, as well as the leaders, have either been jailed or reformed. Team Light is a group of regular trainers who enhance their pokémon with the Light type and Light type moves to counter-act Dark-type pokémon, the only pokémon who are weak against these moves. Now Regular Trainers are caught up in the quarrel, and everyone must choose a side...
Information: In this RP, you can be a member of Team Dark, Team Light, or just a regular trainer. The Leader of Team Dark is still being looked for, but we can only have one, so check before asking to be him. I am team light's leader.

Lightchick is Ryku's only pokémon, but they are best friends. Lightchick almost became a Dark Pokémon, but instead became the first Light Pokémon. He was Ryku's first, last, and only pokémon, but knows every move a Pokémon can learn. This caused the program to be toned down for other members.

Personality: (Levi is very outgoing and makes millions of friends. He has friends of all ages. He is a very competitive trainer and will never give up. He has always been helpful. He is loving towards all of his Pokemon old, and new. Levi is very smart. He usually has a smile on his face. Levi is very energetic and active. He is obedient and very observent. He doesn't get mad too often. He always thinks before he acts. Most people think he is fun to be with. At first he appears to be a know-it-all, shy kid. Background: Levi was born into a wealthy family of five in Lillycove City. He is the youngest of them all. His parents usually ignored him, always paying attention to his sibilings. One day, his oldest sister died. His parents wouldn't tell Levi why though. Levi's parents now were always fighting about their money problems, and how the 'screwed up thier lives and their kids life'. A few years later Levi went to a far away camp in Kanto. He came back and his parents were even more stressed. His parents eventually divorced. His dad had custody all of the boys, while his mom got custody all of the girls. Each kid had visitation rights to their parents. Levi's dad quickly found a girlfriend with two kids, who was also divorced. Levi's dad dated her for about three months, and they got married. Levi's step mom and dad kept on fighting, but never divoreced. Levi would lock himself in the closet and they would never notice. Eventually Levi ran away to his distant cousins. His aunt called his mom, and his mom then got custody of Levi because Levi ran away, without his dad noticing. Levi soon joined Team Light, and quickly advanced into the younges Elite member. He goes undercover as a New Team Dark Grunt.

Appearance: Standing at around 5'4", weighing in 130lbs. She may be short, but her attitude makes up for a lot of it. Her raven black hair is very curly, and dangles down to just past her shoulder blades. Her eyes shine of a beautiful blue color, almost always smiling with youth. Her grin is accompanied by dimples, her nose lined with freckles. On her head is almost always a light blue and white bandanna on her head, usually to keep the hair out of her face. A white blouse, and a blue skirt is her usual attire, but she will change periodically, mostly depending on weather.

Personality: High-spirited and 'spunky', this girl is committed to anything she sets her heart on. Convinced that the Dark Pokemon are being tortured into cutting off the way to their hearts, she finds it cruel. She joined Team Light to put a stop to it, and prove that using Pokemon for selfish purposes is stupid, because she knows that having a Pokemon is a blessing. Obviously extremely affectionate toward her Pokemon, and any Pokemon that would accept her affection. Aurora believes in her Pokemon, and puts her heart into training them, and caring for them.

Aurora is an amazing friend, truly loyal and supportive, but she can be too trusting at times. She is prone to disappointment, and heartbreaks. If she lost any of her Pokemon, she would possibly melt down, and there would be as little as a single tear to as much as sobs. She absolutely cannot stand to see any living creature in pain, it rips her heart out.

Background: Aurora was born on a Pokemon Farm where she interacted with all sorts of Pokemon on a daily basis. This was where her love for Pokemon began, out caring for Pokemon. What convinced her to begin a journey of her own was when a young man sept the night at her home, who was traveling with Pokemon and told her of the adventures he, and his affectionate Pikachu had. In this way, Aurora, too, started with a Pichu (Sparx), and left her home, and began her own Pokemon Journey. This didn't last as long as she wanted it to, because after she got word of Dark Pokemon, she joined The Light Team in order to restore peace to the Pokemon World, in hopes that any torture to Pokemon would stop after this battle was won.

Biography: His parents died when he was three years old, so he grew up in an orphanege just on the outskirts of Golderrod City, in Johto.. Due to this, he didn't get that good an education.. However, he is extremely street smart.. He normally had fights with the other orphans and didn't like the adult in charge. He has been taken to the police station for minor things like stealing chocolate and hitting an elderly lady.. Then, when he was nine, everything began to change, his uncle adopted him and explained the concept of Pokemon to him, Lord immediately knew that he wanted to be the very best, and he will be the very best, sometime... His uncle was a kind man, but had a bad temper and he sometimes hit Lord. Lord learned to block everything out by just imagining himself being the best trainer in the world.. And he has done.
Appearance: Black air with red highlights that is gelled but falls between his eyes. He stands around 4'6", a little below the average for his age, and he weighs 40kg. a jagged scar across his right cheek and peircing blue eyes, he has a sunken face and normally always has bags under his eyes. He always wears the same white hoody, and the same black tracksuit. He has a necklace and, at the front of his neck, is a small rectangle of glass.
Personality: He is cold towards everybody and has nearly no friends. He seems to be scared of loving and caring. Of course, he would never show it. When he gets angry he doesn't speak, but his eyes begin to flash menacingly. He is known to stay calm no matter what happens and will always have a cool head.. (sort of like shadow the hedgehog, this guy).. The only thing he seems to show affection for is his necklace with the rectangle of glass on it.. Nobody knows how he got it..
Writing Example: (You may show one of your past writings): Lord knows that now is the time. He has had enough of this. He no longer gives a damn, he just wants to get the Hell out of here. He has always been known as an outsider, with his past it will always be hard to fit in. But now he has to leave. Where is he? He isn't sure, some new land, he had heard. He thinks back to when he got his three Eevees. He had been so happy, then he was kidnapped. By who? He didn't know, he didn't get to see their faces. They brought him to a building and left him in a room. He is still in that room. He grabs the glass at the end of his necklace and clenches it. A man told him that the boss wants to see him today. As soon as the boss, whoever he was, comes into the room, Lord is going to run for it.
He hears footsteps. It's a pity he cannot see anything, it had been pitch black since he got here. The door opens. He knows this because he hears the creak from it. So the boss has come? Then now is the time.
Lord runs at the door. Until he is stopped by a familiar voice.

Personality: Usually very calm, unless something goes wrong, then he flies off the handle. His anger usually results in an explosion or two, and someone on the floor, usually the person who messed up. He is very sly, and whitty, usually having one thing or another to say.

Background: He was born in Fushia City, he never really liked a mojority of the population, especially those who tried to tell him what to do. He was born and raised a thief by his father, who he eventually out witted, proving to his father he was capable of going out on his own. He did so ending up in the Johto region, and eventually came across some people recruiting for Team Rocket. He joined and quickly went up the ranks. Helping them search out trainers who had the best pokemon and steal them.

Quickly he obtained a new pokemon better then his first one, his Raticate. He then dumped Raticate off and took in a Lavitar that he caught with his Raticate. He loved the Lavitar so much that he spent hours on end searching out trainers defeating them, and stealing there pokemon just to get his Lavitar to evolve. Soon Team Rocket feel and he found himself in a new region, Hoenn and now on a new team, Team Magma. He went back to Kanto to visit his father and around this time he picked up another new pokemon, a Zubat, that eventually evolved into Crobat. On his way back to Hoenn he heard about Team Magma's fall and finds himself on edge, he comes across some temple, regarding something he never heard of before, the darkness in pokemon, and finds himself face to face with a vulpix. He catches it seeing it as being injured.

The vulpix later evolves, and he now going to all the fallen leaders of the old gangs, and brings them a propasition, unite and bring forth perfect Shadow pokemon, with all of there combined speciallties they would be able to over ocme the world, and start a new world, a world found on these dark pokemon, where no one, can stop them.

Personality: A really sly pokemon, loves to play tricks on its opponite.
Background: Caught by Kenzii in the Johto region, near a temple. The vulpix he caught it as was injured, and Kenzii simply wanted to make sure no one else got it, he saw potential in the pokemon, and wanted to bring its potential out.

Background: Born in Littleroot town, 14-year old Leo dedicated his entire life to Pokemon hunting and catching the most varieties or Pokemon. His dream ended when he found his first Pokemon: Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil was so happy to have such a great friend, that it evolved! Leo then considered exploring, and he continues to complete his Pokedex even today. He now resides in Vermillion City watching and training his beloved Milotic to the best she can be. He feels much popularity after showing off his lovable Quilava, powerful Tyranitar, and graceful and shiny Milotic. He is a nobody when he enters a new town. Most people in his childhood made fun of him, so now he feels he must defeat them in battles, contests, and even childhood games. He is on a mission to find human friends and make it to Johto to find his favorite legendary myth: Lugia: King of the Ocean.

Background: Leo's second Pokemon, he was found starving in a cold, damp cave far away from the herd of Pupitar hanging from trees miles away. Leo became friends with Tyranitar without catching him, and Tyranitar actually wanted to be caught!

Background: Leo found Milotic swimming in the ocean not that long ago on a vacation to the beach. He thought she was a new Pokemon at first, but whipped out his Pokedex and was astonished to find a real shiny Pokemon!

Personality: Jake is a very withdrawn person; he doesn't talk much, and when he does, he's very soft-spoken. He tends not to smile often, and often simply scorns those who try to speak to him. Often, this behavior intimidates people, which serves him just fine. He's a very experienced trainer, but stubbornly uses only one type; the Dark type. This often leaves him disadvantaged in battle, but he won't fight any other way. He is a brilliant strategist, though often a bit overly brutal.

Appearance: (I know this isn't needed, but I'm going to put one in.) Jake has a pale complexion, with stunningly dark hair and eyes. His face is rather pointed in shape. He wears a gray hooded cloak as his trademark, bound at the waist with a chain. He is of a moderate height and a slim build. Under the cloak, he wears a black T-shirt and jeans.

Background: Jake is the leader of a Dark-type Gym; at least he was, until the Gym was attacked for being a suspect of actions involving Team Dark. Originally hailing from Sootopolis City, he travels frequently between home and his Gym in Johto, for reasons he doesn't often talk about. Some time after fleeing the Gym, he broke into a Team Dark building and snooped around a bit, finding Pokemon being experimented on with machines and other such things. After leaving the building, Jake encountered some Team Light agents who attacked him simply due to his dark appearance. Therefore, he refuses to join either team; Team Dark for its cruelty and twisted ways, Team Light for its unjust judgement of him. Instead, he is on a quest to destroy Team Dark on his own... (This is his background to the story. I have a way better total backstory. ^^)

Personality: Calm and brutal in battle, it is overprotective and attached to Jake. Its behavior actually resembles that of its Trainer.
Background: Jake met this Houndoom soon after going out of Sootopolis as a Trainer. He got lost in the woods, and was saved by Houndoom. After he found his way, the Pokemon stayed with him.

Species: Umbreon

Current Trainer: Jake
Personality: Shy, it is often the quietest around other Pokemon. Jake doesn't often use it in battle.
Background: On the first anniversary of his becoming a Trainer, Jake's family sent him an Eevee as a gift. Oddly enough, it evolved into an Umbreon after the first time Jake battled with it.

Personality: A laid-back joker, it doesn't worry much and often drives Jake and his other Pokemon to the brink of insanity. Jake has taught it several battle tactics to take advantage of its Ice moves.
Background: Jake found it as a Sneasel in the Shoal Cave, being attacked by Spheal that it had probably infuriated for no real reason. It became loyal to him after he blocked a barrage of Aurora beams. Houndoom spent the rest of the day thawing Jake out. Sneasel evolved into Weavile at a later date.
