Darkrai is the best Dark Type

Not Bia's Lol to me overall Darkrai is the best Dark type he has a good stat base and powerful moves u can argue that Tyraintar or Umbreon is better but if u had to chose the majority i bet would chose him also don't u think Darkrai should be a Dark/Ghost type he looks Ghostly ?

Of course you would say something like that considering Darkrai is your favorite type. I say that Spiritomb or Sableye is better but it all comes down to a manner of opinion. At first I thought that Darkrai should just be a Ghost type but after looking at some of his characteristics, it should just stay as a Dark type considering when you think of Dark, you can think of them as having some Ghostly features.

Well it really depends on what type of team u have to me Darkrai would be perfect for a team facing ghost/psychic types or battle online because dark void can come in hand followed by dream eater and heal block for opponents .

Having legendary pokemon with no weakness until you expose him of one characteristic? Wow... that'd be kinda too uberish o.O
That might also be reason why he actually isn't Dark/Ghost.

Anyways I still prefer Umbreon when it comes to dark types.
Umbreon just have unlimited possibilities =)

I'd say that Darkrai is one of the best Dark Pokemon because of its signature move combined with its signature ability. I also wouldn't advise Dream Eater on it because the opponent can switch to make it useless. Once Sleep clause is activated, however, it becomes somewhat easier to deal with (Heracross is almost a guaranteed counter to it due to sleep activating Guts and the possibility of it using Sleep Talk to choose Megahorn or Close Combat to KO Darkrai).
