    A Fanclub for the Darren Shan books, the Vampire ones and the Demon ones!​

    I have read up to 'Vampire Prince' and I'm going to buy the last six of the vampire series, and I haven't started the Demon one yet, but I plan to.

    THE MOVIE IS COMING OUT FEB 09
    I can't wait!

    I love Darren Shan, he writes with a different style, he describes things well, and doesn't show Vampires as what people expect, which I think is great, it shows how imaginative he is.

    I've read all of them to date, and to the whole name colour, bold or ittalic thing, I don't really care =P

    I was a little dissapointed with the ending of the book, Shan came up with something totally random and I don't think it fit in well with the theme the books had at the beggining.

    Oh that's a shame... I hoped he wouldn't go too far off the theme, but it sounds like he did. Ah well, I'm still gonna finish them! Because it would be pointless to only read six of them!
     
    I hope they manage to pull this film off but I think they will either change the story to much or water it down to make it suitable for younger children. The cast dosn't look bad but Willem Dafoe as Gavner Purl? He dosn't look anything like how Gavnur was described not to mention Gavner isn't even in the first book.

    I've read all the Vampire ones, Haven't got round to reading the Demon ones.

    And if your talking about the ending to the vampire ones...The ending is really clever and I love it.

    No, I heard that Darren Shan watched them make the movie, and said that he really liked it, so I don't think they've messed it up to much
    (My Friend told me, so I don't really know, but it's a friend I trust, I don't think she'd lie)
