Dawns Piplup what will happen

    Well most people would know that During an interview with former director and storyboard artist of the Pokémon anime, Masamitsu Hidaka, he revealed that Dawn's Piplup will probably not evolve very soon, referring to its evolutions as "ugly" or not good for contests. However, Kenny's Prinplup seems to do fine in contests, but many fans agree that Piplup fits to Dawn's stereotypically "cute" or "girly" image. It should be noted that this was only stated by Hidaka and no other cast members (and the fact that know he is just a story borad artist).


    But due to the fact that it says Has not been stated by anyone else so i think maybe piplup may evolve in to prinplup or even empoleon i do not know but i think we may have a little repeat of may with torchic. I think as soon a mamoswine starts to obey dawn i think piplup will get less atention because of the awsome power of mamoswine it may feel left out and weak and evolve or if dawn somehow makes a deal with mamoswine that if she can beat it in a fight it will start listing to her and just before piplup gets obliterated it see how much dawn wants to become friends with her mamoswine he evolves to beat it.

    Haha next time, take just a bit more time and organize your post a bit neater. It's pretty difficult to read.

    Dawn's Piplup will most likely evolve in due time. In your last sentence, I have to disagree with you. I doubt the anime's creators would give Piplup less attention and make it feel left out. It'll get its screentime, and it will evolve..eventually..probably. We'll see haha.

    yeah sisters can be annoying, but you know what, we jsut have to love 'em not only because they are family, but because god brought them here in this world and it is our duty to watch over them...u know?

    but I think when dawn is FINALLY ready to leave the anime it will evolve into a prinplup, and Kenny's prinplup will not be an empoleon...that is what I think anyway!!!
