    Dead projects Archive

    What projects are dead? Also, in the same sense, maybe the source could be posted online somewhere, and incorperated into a game, given credit where credit is due? I think this would be good, as not to leave a good Idea wasted.

    What I mean by this, is if there is a dead project, maybe post it here, and allow it to be used in another game, or further worked on, of course credit would be given where credit is due.

    Well.. I would post my dead Pokemon Rusty II game here but I am gonna finish it eventually lol. If I don't think I will then sure I'll post it here.
    This thread is a good idea, everyone that thinks they are gonna quit rm2k/3/xp/whatever just post what you have done here and someone will eventually gain interest in it.
     
    I hoped someone would think it was a good Idea, give life to an old game. It could help development in games move faster, by using the source in the in works games, and could also result in cool games not being just thrown out.
     
    Hmm...I can't make the decision myself, so let's wait until Darkmage posts.
     
    hey, you coud have an e-mail system like they do in Pokemon Colloseum. :)

    Well that MMORPG is dead. I knew it wouldn't continue.
     
    I'm noticing that there are alot of dead projects around... Get those things up here, and bring life to a one lost cause!

    Well I am leaving soon, so IF I have the time, I will upload my old pokemon rusty II game..
    Pity though.. It was almost completed. I had the battle system 100% and the storyline like 92% I was in the process of changing the chipsets over to R/S and using my new reflection system but I only got about 60% with the chipsets and the charaset were like 22%..
     
    I was really looking forward to playing Pokemon Rusty. I couldn't even
    play the first demo that was out! Anyway, I hope that you can get as much as
    done possible.
     
    You know what, I don't remember Pokemon Rusty I! Was there one, or not? Am I missing something here?

    ahh pk rusty 1... krazy told me that when he released the full version of pk rusty 2 he would have number 1 with it! Ask krazy he might still have it...
     
    Yeah that's right.. Pokemon Rusty II was actually 2 games in 1..
    When (or if :P) you finished PR2 then you get a little menu to choose from cheats, movies (I think), and playing the pokemon rusty I demo.. It isn't that good.. Only has about 4 or 5 towns and a pikachu which follows you around everywhere.. I intended it to replicate pokemon yellow but then i just used certain elements from it.. It was never completly finished lol :P
