Anime > Manga.


The epic soundtrack and voice actors... I had never seen such awesome in anime.

Although the manga's art is epically epic.

Anyway, about the manga/anime...

I think I prefer the manga. But that's because I know it better and it was the first thing I saw. But I also think the art in the manga is better (Light is looking way more handsome there, may I point that out?) and it's the original, so.... ^.^

I prefer the manga. The art is way better.
The anime is pretty great too though. Sometimes the voice acting bothers me though (English). Japanese is way better.

  • Do you think the series should have ended another way? I wish that L was the one who outed Light (with proof), rather than Near/Mello because I felt their arc was a little rushed. But I did approve of the outcome. XD
  • What would you do if you found a Death Note? Hide under my bed and freak out about the Death God standing in my room. XD Then freak out some more and hide the Note.
  • What character do you think would've made a better Kira than Light? None of them.
  • Which character do you think had the best death? L. ;-; It was the only death that made me blub like a baby. XD
  • Why do you like Death Note? The interaction between L/Ryuuzaki and Kira/Light, the twists and turns of the plot, and L's character. :3
  • Have you ever liked a specific piece of DN Fan art? If comics count, then yeah.
  • Have you ever had an OC based on DN, or a fanfiction? Nuh-uh.
  • Have you ever read silentreaper's Death Note comics? My laptop doesn't like the link. D:< I've seen a few on YouTube, however. :3

Hi i would luv to join i have only read the manga though... I love L and Ryuk and Light, they r my favorite characters! specially L and Ryuk, L with his posture, percentiages, and sugar addiction, and Ryuk for when everybody is dying and he's just chillin with his apples :]
 
Ooh~ Death Note! May I join? I just got in to Death Note over the summer, when my friend rented a movie. I watched it, loved it, watched the next movie. Then I started watching it on Adult Swim every Saturday Night. I've seen almost all the episodes now, and the newer L movie. I really adore this series, and I've even cosplayed as Misa twice, although my hair wasn't bright enough D:

Hey, that's actually pretty good Misa cosplay. If my hair would grow out in the back just a little bit longer, I could probably pull off a pretty good Light.

I had to buy the dress at Hot Topic, since I couldn't afford an actual Misa cosplay. But it worked, I think. ^^ I only wish my hair was a little bit lighter. x3

I went to a con 2 days ago too, and cosplayed as Misa again. Although my hair was lighter this time, I didn't take many pictures, since it was such a small con. D: Lots of L's though ^^
