Death Note Fantards?

Like other people in this thread, I liked Death Note during the L saga. It's not so much that I disliked the series after that (volume 7 in the manga, I don't know what the anime episode equivalent to that would be), it's just that I didn't enjoy it as much. I've read the entire manga series and got through about half the anime series, and although Death Note is one of my favourite series, it's not something I would obsess over.

As for the "fantards" - you're going to get that with any series: Inuyasha, Naruto, Pokémon, and Bleach, just to name a few. Just because they don't see Death Note in the same light as you do, doesn't mean they're necessarily a "fantard." You like the series, and so do they.

In any case, I fear the Narutards more than the Death Note fantards. o_o

Sometimes they are though. :x Depends on what you define a fantard as. Some people actually positively label themselves with it [...these people scare the living hell out of me, to be honest].
