Death Note Series

Why? He started with a great goal, but at the middle/end of the series he was just a crazy serial killer.
And... what's wrong about it? :D
He would be a perfect god =D

I liked it overall. I kept watching after L died, because I wanted to see what would happen with Light. If that bastard won I would've been disappointed, although if we're taking geniuses into account, he should've beaten Near. Near states at the end that he could only surpass L (and therefore beat Light) due to the combined efforts of Mello and Near, and Mello sacrifices himself for it.

I wasn't too upset when L died because I had already been spoiled about it and also because L had planned for the possibility of him dying at Light's hands. This is why the successors were prepared, something which Light didn't take into account.

Also worthy of note is that Light's seiyuu is Mamoru Miyano, whose voice I absolutely adore. ^^
