    Its unknown to me how many people on PC actually read Death Note, but for those of you that have heres something interesting. About a day or two ago the manga was given a "one-shot" taking place about

    Hopefully, for those who just buy the manga and doesn't buy Jump, they'll release it in some kind of special fanbook (though they already have something like it :/).
     
    Does anyone know where I can read this one-shot manga online?
     
    I read the Manga and watch the Anime as well.

    They both make eating Potato chips so epic xD
     
    Read reviews of the spin-off manga.

    Apparently it's bad, and buying your mother a nice gift with the money spent buying the Jump is much more worth it.
     
    I've got the whole manga (Awaiting volume 13 to be dispatched from Amazon).

    The one shot manga was a huge dissapointment in my opinion, it started with high hopes and ended very..uh...terrible?

    Very dissapointed, but the manga is way better than the anime. Does any one here have the english How To Read volume yet?
     
    Still watching the show as it airs on Adult Swim. So far, I love it. However, some of the recent episodes have been a little on the "meh" side.

    I really hope things get moving soon because the "haha, I've foiled you Kira! haha, I've foiled you L!" loops are starting to wear thin :|
     
    Death Note is certainly a must see. Although it isn't as good Eureka Seven, it certainly comes close.

    The recent episode wasn't that good though, but I'm sure it will get better.

    I give this anime a 10/10
     
    I watched the entire anime and collected the manga up to volume 12, and I still reread the manga all the time. It's fascinating, but I'm occasionally not so fond of how some parts in the anime just aren't rewatchable since they're so boring at points. The animation and music in the anime is incredible, though it gets slightly irritating at how they make some of the smallest things so epic (eating potato chips and writing is a good example). It's a great watch and read whatever way, though, and is definitely my favorite manga.

    Never heard about this one shot thing, though. It sounds very interesting.
     
    I've seen the entire anime (took quite a while), have all the manga and watched both movies. I like it best before Misa pops up and I think it really should have ended around the big mid-series event, which is why I generally prefer the movies, or the second one anyway, MUCH better ending.
     
    I've read the one shot, well it might've been a Doujinshi. It was a good, pencil + eraser xD. Still not as good as the main story as it was less psychological.
     
    I read a bit of the first volume, but I couldn't finish through it (it was a friend's), however, I did enjoy what I did read. I would absolutely love to buy more of the manga~ I'd watch the anime too, but I'm more into reading the manga.

    Yes actually, my sister brought
    Death Note 13 How To Read about a day ago!
    She has already read the entire thing ¬_¬
    It's awesome though.

    And yes, Death Note is soo epic, that it even makes eating potato chips and writing epic!

    'tis the awesomeness! I am watching the anime, but I already know what happened.
    My sister spoilered me. I still wanna see it though XD
