    I'm going tomorrow to the Game Stop to purchase either Pokemon Sapphire, or Pokemon Fire Red.

    Couple questions.

    Like Pokemon Gold/Silver, you were able to play Kanto along with the new board. Are you able to do the same with Sapphire?

    I noticed in some of the pokmon lists in Sapphire that it is limited from the first 151 pokemon, and with the Fire Red, it is limited from 152 on.

    Ultimately, which is better for my cash, Sapphire or Fire Red?

    Well in FR and LG after you beat the E4 and catch more than 60 Pokemon you can get the National Pokedex which has all ( I think) of the Pokemon. Except you need Ruby or Sapphire to get the Pokemon not in FR/LG.
     
    i would honestly say saphhire has more replay value
    but ah well

    Which game will alow me to play angles and storylines the most, and which one would allow me to capture more pokemon?
