Well at the moment I'm just collecting Labyrinth of Nightmare, Metal Raiders and Magic/Spell Ruler. Any ideas for a deck?

Not many strong cards in those sets. Try some other sets.

Try some Invasion of Chaos, if you want to use what is proven to be a pain in the butt to beat. If you want classic beatdowns, you'll want Pharoah's servant. If you wan't good spellcaster, try Magician's Force. And I believe legacy of Darkness has plenty of good dragons to use if you prefer that.

There's NEcross, but he is very situational and is only useful for people with a complete set of exodia to their deck. Only extreme duelists that have been playing for some time have that, And I ghet the impression this guy is fairly new to the game. :\

    You never know though.

Not many people play Exodia anymore and with Witch, Sangan and Graceful Charity being offically banned now poor Exodia will see even less play.

So I think Exodia will see a decline in play. :classic:

    B. Skull Dragon card is the strongest I've got, but I need the two fusion material monsters for it...on the other paw, I may be collecting Legend of Blue Eyes, try and come up with a Dragon-based deck.

Pogi, I can see what you mean about the amount of Dragon-types in in the LoD card set.

True, that there may not be some strong monster cards in the set I've chosen, but some of them like Destiny Board, and the Spirit Message cards, can win the match in 5 turns.

Still, you want to build to win, right? You can find some exhileration out of losing every once in a while, but the game becomes no fun if you make a practice of it. Most tourny players use their tourny decks in casual play too, so you may ahve to make a tourny play just to stand a chance in even casual play. :\
