can anyone tell me what team should i form to defeat elite four if my starter pokemon is mudkip.

This goes over to GB Strategies and Movesets. So I'll call UPS to ship it there XD.

    ~Over Nights~

    You started with Mudkip?

So you'll want to keep Swampert in your party.

Blaziken is a better choice for Elite 4 Beating, as it covers more areas, and has better typing (for taking on the Elite 4).

Anyway, you'll want a fighting pokemon to get rid of the Ice dude, they can also hopefully cover Steven aswell, though having a fire pokemon would be handy for his Skarmory (Hence Blaziken Fire/Fighting).

If I remember correctly, there is also a Ghost Gym leader? Anyway, just jump on in there with a Banette with Shadow Ball and hammer her down.

You'll want to put Ice Beam on your Swampert in order to cover the Dragon trainer.

    I'm missing someone...

Swampert/Banette/Blaziken if you can get it through trade.

If you cant get it, try Hariyama.

    First - Fight (Machamp)

    Second - Dark (Houndoom)

    Third - Rock (Aerodactyl)

    Forth - Ice (Swampert/Milotic + Ice Beam)

    Champ - Ground/Fire (Swampert/Blaziken)

    Or that.

Blaziken on his own is able to deal with most of the E4 with the right set..

    with swampert

(Sidney )(uses dark pokemon)(l.46-49) fighting/bug? (medicham, machamp, haryama, anything with bug move)
    :Pokemon mightyena L.46,sharpedo L.48,cacturne L.47,absol L.49,shiftry L.46

(phebe)(uses Ghost pokemon )(l.49-51)Ghost/Dark(bannette,dusclops,salbelye,mightyena,anything with ghost/dark move, could use normal with shadow ball, dark move)
    :Pokemon 2 banette L.49/50,2 dusclops L.50/51,sableye L.50

(glacia)( uses Ice pokemon) (l.51-53) Electric, grass( be very careful use only with water/ice pokes),rock be careful because ice beam, surf can hurt most rock attack users, fighting, steel,or poke with these type attacks
    :pokemon 2 glalies L.51/52,2 sealoes L.52/51,walrein L.53

    (drake)( uses Dragon pokemon) (L.52-L.55)
ice, rock, electric(possibly) pokes with these type moves
    :pokemon 2 flygons L.53/53,shelgon L.52,altaria L.54,salamence L.55

(Pokemon champ steven)(steel)(L.56-58) fire, fighting, electric ( for skarmory),ice/water (for cradilty i forget what his type is but I know he is grass/?) he is very powerful and his pokemon can be annoying especially his cradily. I will make the movesets of in my opinion his 2 most difficult ones

    Skarmory L.57,Almarldo L.56,Cradily L.57 (sludge bomb,giga drain,ancient power,?),aggron L.57,claydol L.56,Metagross L.58(hyper beam,EQ,Psychic,Meteor mash)

When I beat him on my ruby he was the one that was hardest for me even though glacia was hard too. his cradily beat 4 of my pokemon and his metagross beat everone but my swampert which I used to beat him with but he still had his claydol which I beat easily

My team I used to beat the elete 4
