    :shocked: i felt that the game was about twice as easy to pass as the regular red/blue versions. o_O; i got through sliph faster for some reason...and everything seemed to go smoothly.

    maybe its just my mind playing tricks on me, anyone else have thoughts?

    I'm not sure...I took 33 seconds in the game to get bulba up to lvl 12....
    I like the first 3 games of Pokemon best as they still seemed "fresh and original" at that point of time---probably why they seemed much more difficult back then.

    33 seconds? Are you sure it's not 33 minutes? o_x;

    Anyways, I'm probably finding it easier because I've played Pokemon many many times and I've developed a playing style/strategy for getting through it. I've played for about three hours and all six of my guys are at LV21 or so. I'm not sure how I'm going to do against Lt. Surge yet, though. >.>;

    Well I did notice many of the "new" moves the old pokemon gain in firered/leafgreen did make the game about two times easier than it was before:\. Like Charmander learning Metal Claw at level 13, lol. Learning that one move made the difficulty level go from tediously hard to a simple cake walk.

    Its because you are now 4-5 years older then you were when you first played RBY and you also know where to go. thats my guess

    Opps...yes it's minutes....
    I suppose Kairyu is right, since Jigglypuff will probably learn something "Voice" which will be a useful attack...

    You are right.
    And we know where to go, that's why.

    ^ yes that is true we were younger n got frustrated when we didnt understand sumthing and didnt no where to go.Now that we got older n kno where to go its much
    easier

    Haha, I remember my first game of Pokemon...it took me a long time to get through Mt. Moon because I kept turning back...I thought I might get lost and never get out. xD

    How we've grown since then, I guess...
