4th Gen Demo & Test Darkrai?

    What are these? I've seen posts about them, but don't understand how to obtain a Darkrai legit without the Japanese Pokemon Movie Event.

    Can anyone explain? Thanks.
     
    technically... there's no other legit Darkrais out there at the moment.
     
    I saw a video on Youtube about an Easter Egg in D/P (Litterally) Supposedly, you were supposed to hatch Darkrai from an egg. But when it was viewed in the summary, seing as this "Easter Egg" was "removed", it was completely invisible except for its outline. Besides this "Easter Egg", the only legit Darkrais are the movie ones. Atleast I hope so....
     
    Demo Darkrai is identical to Movie Darkrai, except for the fixed Modest nature and the May 14 obtain date rather than July 14. It was part of a pre-movie promotion.

    Demo/Movie was originally supposed to be obtained as the aforementioned Easter Egg in the Japanese version of the game, but ended up being distributed as a Mystery Gift instead due to the prevalence of hacking beforehand. That is what is referred to as Test Darkrai.

    Am I correct?
     
    i got a darkrai by using a member i randomly found and thought nothing of until i done that thing with the boy in canalave city and i was allowed into the place at the top and you go to sleep and you catch it in your sleep but if you dont catch it it doesnt run round like cresselia or mesprit.
     
    I thought mine was legit....sort of. My friend used the walk through walls cheat and biked to teh Island where he is and caught him...then my friend hacked for a shiny Darkrai and traded me his "legit" one. I didn't know it wasn't legit until about a week laterT_T
