the icons look great! i have to say that they are some of your best work, if not your best ^_^
you did a great job with the outlining, i like how you did them.

The trainer sprite also looks alright, although he has a lack of outlining. I needs some more tone variance.

I also like the water version of sleeze better, it just looks more conform and makes more sense...

Thanks for the consolation. I will improve the trainers outlines. I also have been making A LOT more icons, so those will be updated sometime between now and Monday.

Hmmm I will think about that one. Sounds good to me! Actually, I may do a grass ostrich instead, as I do need a grass starter.....Stegro just isn't working for me.

So here's the deal. Your edits are still super similar to the originals. The new totodile line isnt all that original, and is very much the same. the kakuna (insewrap) is almost identical, except for the spikes... your scratches havent taken on that new originality that i had been seeing with slize and rologro. I look to see more of those. Although they may be harder, that is where i saw your greatest improvements! I could at least track your skill better.

Your becoming so much better! Don't get me wrong, your new edits are good, but i would like to see more of your scratch work, it was alot more fun to help you with... and it was just a lot more original!

Keep up the hard work.

Ask, and you shall receive! I have posted a bit of my behind the scenes work, but they are strictly off limits for any ones use besides those I give express permission to! I have several people on the lookout for these sprites! So dont even try to publish them as your own!!
 
Can't believe I never ever checked out your sprite thread before, Des. You've been pretty much like an experienced spriter since I knew you and now you're getting even better. Keep up the good work!

Well, I didnt want them to seem too complicated. My hack is going to feature a few of these Pokemon (Buzrey for sure, and maybe insefly. The rest are unknown) Otherwise, many of these are just ideas formulated on a moments notice. I havent really tuned them up.
 
u have ne other threads that u think have better ones?
