    I was replaying through Hoenn when I stumbled upon this again. So Devons president likes to collect Rare stones? I'm assuming you receive your starters Mega stone from him.


    Clearly since Steven liked to collect Rare stones, Devon corporation's president will be involved with Mega stones also.
    How do you think the President will be involved with Mega stones

    Steven Stone is also a stone collector, so more or less him or his father :)
     
    Maybe the Devon President will give you the mega stone for the starters and later on has stones available for other starter pokemon. Maybe Steven can have access to the stones for the other megas or just for Kyogre or Groudon. Who knows?
