6th Gen Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina event in X/Y?

    Sorry for the unclear title, wasn't sure of a good name for it.

    Anyways, as most of you all know, at Gamestop there have been events that give out a Level 100 Shiny Pokemon, being Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, on any of the Generation V games. Also, before Generation V's release, there were similar events in which Shiny Suicune, Entei, and Raikou were also given out. If I remember correctly, when those three were sent to the Generation V games, they could be used to obtain Zoroark.

    I think it's more than likely that a similar event will involve Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina when transferred to Pokemon X and Y.

    What do you all think? Do you think there will be an event that requires one of the three? Or maybe all three of them?

    (P.S. I've never made a thread before here, so sorry if I screw up the poll. lol)
     
    There's a clear difference between the Shiny Beasts event and the event for the DPPt Trio. Suicune, Entei, and Raikou were being given away for two reasons: Promotion for the latest movie and a tie-in with the BW games involving Zoroak. There's been no connection made between this event and X and Y, which means the two are likely unrelated. The Shiny Dialga/Palkia/Giratina giveaway seems like one final Hoorah! event being held for the Fifth Gen games and as a way for people to obtain the DPPt mascots if they don't have them already.

    Also, like MRAS mentioned, when the Shiny Beasts were being given away it was made clear early on that they would unlock something in B/W.
     
    Lord, I hope not...I've missed both Dialga and Palkia and will probably miss Giratina (my local GAME store, as wonderful as it is, is useless for this sort of thing) and I'll be quite annoyed if they decide to randomly do an event using them in X/Y. Aren't event legendaries usually given away over Wi-fi anyway? At least, I believe the three shiny Legendary dogs were...it makes them far more accessible if they're wi-fi events in their own right, I think.
     
    I hope not. It would kind of be unfair (especially since they didn't state they would have something to do with X & Y beforehand.)
     
    If there are events, I hope there are no new mega formes as I know that they would screw up changing there designs to look 'better'.

    My bet is on nothing and they just gave them out for no good reason.
     
    I don't really think it's likely. If it did happen though, It'd probably be only one. D:
     
    The Shiney Dragons exist to get you into the Store, so that you pre-order at Gamestop. It is just good bussiness to get people walking into your store.

    It's a way to drum up excitement for the upcoming Pokemon X and Y versions. If there is an even, I'm sure you'll still manage to lay your hands on the Pokemon (you could get Zorua of the GTS if you saw it used in battle) if you've missed out. There is always the option of trading someone on here for something so you can borrow it to complete the event. We'll just have to wait and see, koffi~
     
    Seeing as how the shiny trio wasn't distributed in Japan, I doubt there's going to be an event using them in X/Y. Why would the distribution not include such a large audience if there was going to be an event? Especially for a game like X/Y, which is getting the worldwide release.

    This event is just a general promotion to get people into the store to preorder the games and get business for the stores.
     
    There may be a Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina distribution event for Pokémon X and Y at some point in the future. In fact, I think there will be an event for all legendary Pokémon that can't normally be found in-game. They would want us to get our hands on them so that we'd be having an easier time when it comes to completing the PokéDex, so, yeah. There probably won't be any shiny legendary Pokémon events, though... well, unless they have good reasons for them, of course. xD
