diamond and pearl dark energy is hard to find

i want to make a dark deck but i just can't get any dark energy cards. i got 5 or 6 in a starter deck but that's it. i don't want to buy 4 of the same torterra or darkrai starter decks over and over. i can't even find a lot of them on ebay!

the metal ones were the same way but one of these new decks comes with 10 metal energy so it's not as bad.

anyone know a good cheap way to acquire these

really that thread doesn't help much because it just applies to the normal fire grass electric grass water energies which you can find at flea markets, i'd like to see dark energy at a flea market, lol.

I can't see why Dark Energy's wouldn't be there if the other types were. But none the less, I see your point. I've only pulled 4 Dark Energys out of the 100+ packs I've bought recently.

You could always visit your local card shop and see if they sell them in bulk.

The problem lies in the fact that the DP series made Dark and Metal energies normal energies, as opposed to the special energies they were before that. One would think it would be easier acquire the newer ones now, since they are less rare, supposedly.

I don't know; right now I'm running (or trying to) a fire/electric/dark deck but before I was running dark/metal. As long as you have two types of pokémon, the six energy with a few darkness special energy and a few energy searches/roseanne's research should be just enough.

At max, buying one each of the torterra deck and darkrai deck should give you enough dark energies for most decks. I can't even find the former, but the last and two Dark special energies seems to work pretty well for me.

well i have the torterra deck and my gf has the darkrai deck but they just give you 5 and 6 energy a piece and she doesn't want to share, lol. but at walmart they still have both of those decks, i guess that's all i can do...
