1. Drag the game you want in to the "My custom codelist".
2. Right click and select the option "Add a new cheat/folder".
3. Enter the cheat code and name then click OK.
4. Update your Action Replay.

i had to repost this in this post so HERE HOW TO CHANGE THE ACTIVATION CODE FOR YOUR ACTION REPLAY CODES!

If you noticed most codes have something like "press L+R" to activate but now theres a way to change all of that!
Now this is a code for max cash with a L+R to activate:

Now at the beginning of it theres this:

Now on the second line you see the FCFF? thats tha activation code that it uses.Heres a list of all the activation codes:

(If you want to mix buttons do the formula A+B is FFFE & FFFD so the button combo for it is FFFC so the different between the two letters is what it increases the digit by!)
All you need to do is change thouse 4 digits.Now im going to make it so all you need to press is L.

...and we need this code why? It's not any daunting task to hit L+R. <.<;

Now, what we DO need is a code to change multiplayer avatars to something not on the four choices picked by the Trainer ID. For the fifth time, I want to make mine an Ace Trainerrrrr!!!~

a friend of mine tested this code, and apparently it does not work.
 
I don't have internet, so i come into town around 5:30 in the morrning to update my AR. I forgot it today, but before i get up at 5 tomorrow and come out here. Do the Darkrai, Arceus, and Shaymin event codes work. I have the national dex. Mystery gift and own over 300 pokemon. And i would like to know about the shiny code. I'm afraid to use it. But i need to know if these codes work.And lastly how about the Rebattle Arceus code. So i can trade them to my friends who don't have an AR. Please respond. It's really important for me to find out. Thanks in advance.
 
any ideas of how going in the backyard of pal park with ar code?When i use walk through walls codes the game doesn't let me pass the door that is back of the guard but goes me to the 2nd room of the building,not to the backyard .What can i do to reach this area without have pokemon migration from old pokemon versions?Please help...

hey, you know how the exp points code works? it'll give you 60000 exp points, and stops at whatever level?

remember how the GBA ones worked, where you would hold down the R button until you DECIDED what level you wanted the pokemon to stop at after the battle? does such a code exist? if so, it'd be greatly appreciated.
 
can some one tell me a code for masterballs for the AR that works?

I tested those codes myself before posting them, and I can guarantee that they will work.
 
When I try to update my AR it says file not found and when I start up the AR it goes directly to the update screen and says to attach it to my computer to update it. Any ideas on how to fix this?

...Sounds like your computer might not be recognizing that the AR is plugged in...you might want to try unplugging hte USB cable, then plugging it in again and see what pops up. You could also check to see what kind of device your computer believes it is. If nothing else works, you might have to uninstall the device and try again from scratch.

I assume this means that you worked out your other problem...

Anyway, once you put in the Event Codes and hit L & R, you need to go into a Pokemon Mart (any will do) and talk to the guy in green clothes that SHOULD be there (if he isn't, you did something wrong). Once you have the item, what you do depends on which Legendary you picked (I'll have to defer you to a site like Serebii for that information).

Ya I figured it out, thanks btw I got the events working.
