The Begining of a rough Journey​

A bright light creaked in through the blinds of his window. Diamond yawned and stretched out his arms. He looked at his alarm clock. It was already 8:00 A.M!​

"Why didn't the stupid thing wake me up!? I set it for 6:00, it should have woken me up." Diamond said rolling out of bed and grabbing his clothes.​

He threw on his everyday black T-shirt, red shorts, and his black hat. He rushed down stairs to grab his breakfast when he noticed a boz sitting on his family's kitchen table.​

"What's this mom?" he asked.​

"Oh, right. I ordered you some new clothes for you journey of the internet and they came in this morning. Try them on honey." his mom said.​

Diamond looked at the package and smiled. He grabbed the box that was medium sized for a package and ran upstairs with it. He grabbed some scissors off his desk and sliced the box open. He grabbed the clothes and quickly put them on. He put on a white T-shirt, a black vest with a white pokeball print on it, regular baggy jeans, a red hat, and a red scarf. He scanned the contents of the box and noticed there was a pair of red shoes and a red knapsack in there. He slipped the shoes on and started packing his knapsack.​

He threw in his doodling notebook(he loved to draw), a pencil, some colored pencils, a few books, a picture of him and his parents before his dad passed, some gum, his pajamas, some food, and some pokefood.He threw the knapsack over his shoulder and rushed down stairs. He stopped in the kitchen and grabbed some pancakes for the road.​

"My now. You look very handsome Diamond." his mom said.​

"Oh, ma. Well, I'm getting ready to go now. I'll eat these pancakes on the way there ok?" Diamond said.​

"Ok honey, but don't foreget your invitation." she said.​

"Don't worry, ma. It's right here." Diamond said picking up a letter for him and holdingit up in the air.​

His mom nodded her head and Diamond ran out the door. He took in a deep breath of the fresh Twinleaf air he knew so well. Diamond grew up in Twinleaf Town resulting in him knowing everyone who lived there and every nook and crany of Twinleaf. He looked at the letter he had received from Professor Rowan and read it again.​

Dear Diamond,​

This is Professor Rowan. I wanted to contact you so that you could choose your very first pokemon. I see much potential in your young self and think you would make a perfect candidate for my most recent experiment. I need you and a friend of yours to help me conduct this experiment by filling out the Sinnoh Pokedex. I'll see you later.​

Diamond smiled and slipped the letter in one of the front pockets of his knapsack. He heard something walking up to him from behind him and quickly spun around on his heal to see his best friend, Damion standing there.​

"Oh, hey Damion. Ready to go?" Diamond asked.​

"Yep!" Damion said.​

"Ok then. Let's go." Diamond said.​

The two men walked down the trail towards the exit of Twinleaf Town when a girl jumped out in front of them.​

"Hey boys. Mind if I come with you until you atleast get your pokemon?" she asked with a delighted grin on her face.​

"Uh-" but before Diamond could finish Damion interupted him.​

"Of course you can sweet cheeks." damion always had a crush on Dawn who was 2 years older then him since Diamon and Damionwere both 6.​

Diamond sighed and Pearl slapped him outside the face.​

"I told you kid. I have a boyfriend!" she scolded him.​

"Yeah, but he's dead." Damion said rubbing his face.​

Pearl's expression then turned from cheerful to gloom. "So?" she said.​

Before Damion could respond Diamond smacked Damion in the back of his head.​

"Oww. What was that for?" he asked facing Diamond.​

"Shut up." Diamond said.​

Pearl sighed and then changed her expression to cheerful again. The three then started walking back to the exit of Twinleaf Town. Diamond in the middle, Pearl on the left of him, and Damion looking mad on the right of him. Diamond sighed and shook his head. He never got along with Pearl very well and Damion and him had troubles every now and then like who the better trainer was and all.​

Damion pulled out a few town maps. One for himself and one for Diamond and then put an extra one back in his brown knapsack. Diamond, upon closer examination, noticed Damion wasn't wearing his normal appearel either. He was wearing an orange and white striped long sleeved shirt, dark brown pants, light brown running shoes, a green scarf, and a dark brown knapsack hanging on his left shoulder occasionally hitting Diamond's side. Damion's hair was also in its normal spiky/messy hair style.​

Pearl was wearing her normal clothing. A white undershirt, a black and pink short dress, pink go-go boots, a white hat, and her pink scarf. He hair was hanging past her shoulders and she carried a yellow hand bag.​

Diamond unrolled his new town map and looked at it. He noticed that they were alot closer to Sandgem Town then he expected. They son came to the exit of Twinleaf Town and Pearl pulled out her cell phone.​

"Hello? Oh hey sir. Yeah, we're amost there. Yeah I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they find out. Anyway see you in a few minutes." she said and then hung up.​

"Who was that?" Damion was the first one to ask.​

"A family friend." Pearl replied.​

"Yeah, but what's their name Ms. Know It All?" Damion said.​

"None of your business." Pearl said.​

"You two just break it up!" Diamond said realizing they were going to get into an argument.​

Pearl and Damion huffed and then spun their heads in the opposite direction of eachother. Diamond sighed and shook his head. About a half hour later the three young adults of 12, 12, and 14 came to the enterance of Sandgem Town. It was a smallet town like Twinleaf and Professor Rowan's lab was right next to the enterance. Diamond led the three of them into the lab.​

The lab was huge. The floors were black tile and the walls were painted white. There were about 20 desks, each piled with paperwork. There were a bunch of bookshelfs each piled with books on information about pokemon. Damion walked over to one bookshelf and pulled out a book titled 'Pokemon Battling for Masters'.​

"This should be really easy to understand for a master like me, unlike Diamond." Damion sneered as if Diamond wasn't in the room right now.​

"Ahem. What do you think you're doing young man?" a loud voice sounded from behind Damion.​

Damion was caught off guard and he threw the book in the air and fell on the ground. Diamond stiffled his laughs, and it took all of his might not to laugh, but Pearl laughed as loud as she could.Damion shot them both a warning glance.​

A man stood in front of Damion.He wores a white long sleeved shirt, a blue vest, a red tie, brown pants, and had a brown suitcase in his hands. He had white hair and a white mustache.​

"Oh hey Professor Rowan." Pearl said finally calming herself from laughing.​

"Hello Pearl." he said. "These two Damion and Diamond?"​

"Yes sir." Pearl replied.​

"Well ok then. You two have come to get your first pokemon. Which one would you like young man on the ground?" he asked.​

"Oh. Um. I would like a Turtwig very much sir." Damion said.​

"Ok then. Here ya go." Professor Rowan said.​

He sat his suitcase on a table next to him and opened it. He grabbed a pokeball and handed it to Damion. Damion thanked him and walked over to where Diamond and Pearl where.​

"And how about you young man?" Professor Rowan asked looking at Diamond.​

"Oh. Well, I put alot of thought into this and decided finally that I would like a Chimchar, sir." Diamond responded.​

"Ok. Here ya go." Professor Rowan said.​

He grabbed another pokeball and tossed it in Diamonds direction. He caught the pokeball and thanked Professor Rowan.​

"And now here ya go, Pearl." Rowan said.​

"Wait what!?" Damion blurted out. "She already went on her adventure when we were nine and she was eleven with a Chimchar! She already acquired her eight badges."​

"Yes. I know that, but I want her to go with you two." Rowan said.​

"Why?" Damion asked.​

"Because dufus. I'm going to make sure you don't get your butt kicked by Team Galactic and so you don't go crying home to your mommy." Pearl said.​

"What? I won't lose to those idiots. Even Diamond here is better then them and I could woop him!" Damion argued back.​

"Yeah, sure." Pearl said.​

"Wait a second you two. I don't need you two arguing the whole time on our journey. Oh, yeah and Damion. I would destroy you!" Diamond yelled right in Damion's ear.​

"No you couldn't!"​

"Yeah I could! I don't even need Pearl to be there to rescue me. She only said that to you. Which makes you the loser." Diamond said.​

"Actually Diamond, I'm there to make sure that doesn't happen to either one of you." Pearl said.​

"Ha!" Damion laughed at him.​

"Be quiet all three of you!" Rowan roared.​

"Sorry sir." all three of the young adults said at the same time.​

"Anyway. Here are three pokedexes. You each get one. These are devices that will let you record data on every pokemon in the Sinnoh region." Rowan said handing out small red devices to each of the trainers. "Also, you will need pokeballs to catch pokemon. Here are five of them for each of you." he added handing out five red and white spheres to each of them.​

"Like Pearl said before. Appearently you all know about Team Galactic. When Pearl was on her first journey when she was eleven she wiped out Team Galactic, but currently they have made a bigger team with the same leader and commanders. Neither me or PEarl have pictures of these people so you two will have to be very careful about who you choose to trust. You go me?" Rowan asked.​

"Yes sir!" the two said at the same time.​

"Good. Now you are all dismissed to start your journey." Rowan said.​

The three nodded and left the laboratory for their journey. Damion and Diamond kept on arguing abotu who was better while Pearl tried to explain why she was coming with them more clearly.​

"Huh. Can't wait to see the results they give me." Rowan sighed.​

Chapter 2: Diamond's first battle​

"Damion, I could so beat you!" Diamond yelled.​

"Yeah. Sure you could!" Damion mocked.​

"You wanna go?" Diamond threatened.​

"Yeah. I could beat you up at streat fightining too." Damion said.​

"That's it." Diamond said.​

Then, Diamond slugged Damion in is stomach. Damion fell to the ground, gasping for breath. Pearl ran over to Damion and helped him up.​

"You really thought you could beat me up, Damion? I lived on the streets for two years while my mom was kidnapped, and I had to fight to survive." Diamond said cracking his knuckles.​

Damion looked up at Diamond with a hint of anger in his eyes, still gasping for air, and slowly got up.​

"Calm down you two. First it was me and Damion and now it's Damion and you, Diamond." Pearl stated.​

"Whatever. Let's just keep going towards Jubilife City." Diamond said.​

Pearl nodded and Damion just stood there staring at Diamond angrily.​

"You're just afraid cuz you know I canbeat you in a pokemon battle." Damion said.​

"What did you say?" Diamond asked turning around to face him.​

"Yep. You know I'm the better trainer." Damion mocked.​

"That's it. You wanna get socked in the face?" Diamond asked.​

"No, but let's have a battle." Damion said.​

"Sure. I'll be glad to rub it in your face how good I am at battling and how much you suck at battling." Diamond said.​

"Fine." Damion said.​

The three friends walked around Sandgem Town and found a battling field in a park. Pearl sat down on a nearby bench andcalled out her new Piplup. She took out her pokedex and scanned it.​

Piplup, the penguin pokemon. It lives along shores in northern countries. A skilled swimmer, it dives for over 10 minutes to hunt.​

Since it was their quest to fill in their pokedex, Damion and Diamond scanned Piplup too. Then the two young men took out their pokeballs and threw them into the air. Out of two blinding white flashs, a Chimchar and a Turtwig popped out. Damion and Diamond scanned the two pokemon.​

Turtwig, the tiny leaf pokemon. Made from soil, the shell on its back hardens when it drinks water. It lives along lakes. ​

Chimchar, the fire monkey pokemon. It agilely scales sheer cliffs to live atop craggy mountains. Its fire is put out when it sleeps.​

Chimchar jumped up and down excited to be out of its pokeball for the first time with its trainer. Turtwig yawned and stared at the Chimchar calmly.​

"Chimchar this is our first battle." Diamond announced.​

"Same here Turtwig." Damion said.​

Turtwig faced his new trainer and nodded and then turned bac to face Chimchar. Chimchar jumped up and down and did a back flip.​

"Ok. Chimchar use Scratch." Diamond said.​

"Use Tackle Turtwig." Damion said.​

Chimchar bared his teeth at Turtwig to try to intimidate the turtle while his claws got sharper. Turtwig, seemingly unaffected by Chimchar baring its teeth at him, duscked his head down a little and ran at Chimchar. Chimchar jumped over Turtwig at the last second and then landed on Turtwig's back. Turtwig started trying to fling Chimchar into the air. Chimchar hung on to Turtwig's back and then once Turtwig stopped kicking, Chimchar went around and scrathced Turtwigs face.​

"Twig!" Turtwig yelped backing up a few steps.​

"Now, use Scratch again." Diamond said.​

"Come on Turtwig use Tackle again." Damion called out.​

Chimchar swiftly moved in between the many rocks about his size to try to confuse Turtwig. Turtwig ran towards Chimchar and then slammed his head in to one of the rocks, smashing it in to iny litle pieces. Turtwig fell on to his backside and shook his head vilontely. Chimchar secretly surprised Turtwig by jumping on to his head and then viliontly scratched Turtwigs shell.​

Diamond looked at the two battling pokemon and then noticed something in each of their eyes. A bright burning flame. Diamond thought of this flame as the will to never give up and to keep on going no matter what happens. Diamond looked up at Damion and noticed the other boy noticed the flame too.Chimchar jumped up on top of the biggest rock on the beach and stared at Turtwig expectantly.​

Suddenly, Pearl's Piplup jumped out on to the battlefield between Chimchar and Turtwig, as Chimchar had just dove in at Turtwig. Chimchar tried to stop but couldn't and rammed Piplup into another rock. Piplup cried out in surprise and then got up and yelled at CHimchar angrily.​

"Pip pip pip!" it yelled.​

"Chim. Chimchar chim!" Chimchar argued back.​

Diamond sighed and ran over to the arguing pokemon. He grabbed Chimchar and divided Chimchar and Piplup a way from eachother. Chimchar frantically tried to get over to Piplup to hurt her. Then, Diamond finally decided to return Chichar to his pokeball. Chimchar was engulfed in a blinding red light and then disappeared into his pokeball. ​

Then, Pearl ran up and grabbed her Piplup totally scaring Diamond. Diamond jumped and then Pearl returned Piplup to its pokeball. Piplup disappeared and Damion ran up and helped Diamond up. Diamond sighed and looked up at Damion who was looking very triumphent.​

"Guess I won since ya returned Chimchar huh, Diamond?" Damion asked.​

"Yeah. I guess." Diamond said obviously against the thought.​

"Well. Actually Piplup accidentall got in the way, so I guess nobody won." Damion added.​

Diamond looked at Damion and smiled. Then, the two boys gave each other high-fives and then turned to face Pearl.​

"We're ready to head over to Jubilife City now, Pearl." Diamond said.​

"Ok. Let's go you two." Pearl said and then turned around and lead them to the exit of Sandgem Town.​

Diamond had a grin spread across his entire face. He was glad Damion and him had sort of decided that they were both equals in battling. Damion had a confident grin across his face as well. Diamond was ready for any challenge they would encounter, and who was this Team Galactic? He had heard Damion talking about them but never knew who they were, and he was afraid Damion would think he was an idiot if he asked who they were.Pearl, had appearently encountered them and knew alot about them. Well, whoever they are they could take them down. ​

Yeah, this is one of my more shorter chapters. Most chapters will be longer. Chapter 3 will be up either tonight or tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed!​

Chapter 3: Team Galactic​

Pearl sighed and looked to her left at Diamond.​

"I'm gonna go run up ahead and see if we're getting close to Jubilife ok?" she asked.​

"Ok." Diamond said.​

Pearl nodded and dashed up ahead down the road. Damion, Pearl, and himself had currently left Sandgem Town and were on Route 202 to get to Jubilife City. They had been on the route for about half an hour and they were all getting testy. Diamond sighed as Pearl took off and left im and Damion behind.​

"Diamond. I'm bored." Damion complained.​

"Yeah. So am I." Diamond agreed.​

"Ahhhhhh!" someone shrieked.​

Damion and Diamond loked at each other.​

"Pearl." the both said at the same time.​

The two boys dashed down the road to see what was wrong and they found Pearl tied up and gagged with a Machoke carrying her away on its shoulder. A lady wearing what looked like a space suit with a G on the top and had weird, red hair stood next to the Machoke with an evil grin across her face.​

"Hehe. Now now, Pearl. You didn't really expect me to just let you leave the old hideout the way you did without getting revenge did you?" she asked.​

"Mph grmph." Pearl said while she was gagged.​

Diamond stood there wondering what was going on while Damion called out his Turtwig and ran towards Pearl.​

"Let her go you Team Galactic jerk!" Damion shouted.​

Team Galactic? Diamond thought to himself in a weird translike state. This is Team Galactic? But why would they want revenge on Pearl? She didn't do anything to them...right? We've known her for years now and two years after she got back from her journey and she didn't mention destroying Team Galctic in anyway! She barely even mentioned Team Galactic.​

"Wah!" Damion yelled falling to the ground and breaking Diamond of his translike state.​

Damion had ran up to the Machoke to attempt to rescue Pearl, and the Machoke had punched Damion. Damion fell to the ground and slid across the route ground to Diamond's feet.​

"Twig!" Turtwig yelled.​

Diamond looked up to see Turtwig flying towards him. Turtwig slammed into Diamond and sent Diamond flying back a few yards. Diamond pushed Turtwig off him and then got up and called Chimchar out.​

"Chimchar use Scratch." Diamond said.​

Chimchar ran over to the Machoke, his claws growing sharper by the second and then jumped up to its eyes level. The Machoke thrust its fist at Chimchar, but Chimchar jumped onto its arm and then scratched the rope tied around Pearl into tiny fragments. Pearl fell to the ground on her feet and ran over to Diamond. She pulled the gag out of her mouth and called out her Piplup. The Machoke then kneed Chimchar in his stomach, caught him by the back of his neck, and threw him into a tree's trunk. Chimchar hit the trunk and then slid down it to the ground.​

"Let's try beating them with all of our pokemon working together. Chimchar use Scratch!" Diamond said.​

"Tackle Turtwig." Damion said standing up.​

"Pound Piplup." Pearl said.​

Turtwig ran at Machoke as fast as he could. Piplup jumped onto Turtwig's back and when Turtwig got close enough, Piplup jumped off and then tried to hit Machoke's head, but Machoke slammed its fist into Piplup and sent her flying to the ground. She slammed into the ground and sat on the ground motionless. Turtwig rammed into one of Machoke's leg and then Machoke kicked Turtiwg into Damion. Turtwig rammed Damion and Damion fell to the ground again. Chimchar pushed off of the tree trunk and then climbed up Machokes body. Chimchar started wildly scratching Machokes back and Machoke gabbed Chimchar and threw him into Diamond. Diamond luckily caught Chimchar and set him down on the ground.​

"I don't have time to waste on you ameatuers'. Oh. Pearl, I expected you to be with your Infernape. Anyway, I'll meet you guys later. Oh, wait. I bet I could train that little Chimchar to be like your Infernape." the lady said.​

Her Machoke ran and pushed the trainers and their pokemon except Chimchar out of the way. It picked Chimchar up and then ran back over to its trainer. The lady pulled out a sack and then thrusted Chimchar in it, tied it off, and called out a Staraptor. he returned her Machoke and then flew off on the Staraptor's back.​

When they were gone Diamond fell to the ground on his knees. He then started to break down. He didn't care that Damion and Pearl were probably wathcing him cry.​

"Chim....char. Come back buddy. Please. Come back." Diamond cried.​

Damion and Pearl returned their pokemon and then stared at him with pity in their eyes.​

"Diamond. I'm so sorry buddy." Damion said kneeling down beside him.​

"No. No you don't. You're glad because now I don't have a pokemon." Diamond said shunning out how much Damion actually probably was sorry about what just happened.​

END​

The Machoke thrust its fist at Chimchar, but Chimchar jumped onto its arm and then scratched the rope tied around Pearl into tiny fragments.

Turtwig rammed into one of Machoke's leg and then Machoke kicked Turtiwg into Damion.

"I don't have time to waste on you amateur's. Oh. Pearl, I expected you to be with your Infernape.

Diamond said shunning out how much Damion actually probably was sorry about what just happened.

I corrected the misspelled words.They are the ones that are bolded. Like I said it wasn't anything major. Jut=st small slip ups here and there.Make sure when done writing you go look over your chapter before you submit it.

Chapter 4: Chimchar's Escape​

The sack was itchy and dark. Chimchar couldn't see a thing. He squirmed, scratched, and bit the sack butnit wouldn't rip open for him to escape.

"Let me go you jerks!" Chimchar yelled as loud as he could.(Chimchar Chim!)

No respond from the creepy lady outside of the sack. Chimchar looked around the sack for any sign of a weekness in the sack. Then suddenly the sack was thrown into the air and landed on hard, cold flooring.

Somebody came over to the sack, untied it, and tied Chimchar to a metal pole. Chimchar looked around were he was at now. It was a big, empty room. Nothing was in the room except for himself. It had a big white door, white walls, white tile, and a glass window were people could stare at him safely from another room. The door creaked open and Chimchar turned to see the Machoke he faught earlier and the weird lady. Chimchar stared at the woman angrily.

"Aw now. Come on Chimchar. We just want to be your friends." she said.

"Get away from me! If you were really my friends you would take me to my new trainer!" Chimchar yelled back. (Chimchar Chim! Charrrr.)

---Meanwhile---

Diamond sat there on the ground crying still. Pearl walked over and helped him up. Damion loked away as if it were his fault Chimchar was gone. Turtwig walked up and bushed up against Diamond's leg and Pilup patted Diamond's leg. Diamond looked down at Chimchar's companions. He looked down the route and looked away. How could he keep on going to search for Chimchar without a pokemon? He wouldn't be able to catch any pokemon. Diamond walked over and sat on a flat rock to think things over.

---Meanwhile---

Chimchar ran from one side of the room to the other. The lady had sent Machoke to attack Chimchar for 'training'. The Machoke slammed its fist into the room's wall, trying to hit Chimchar, and created a huge dent in the wall. Chimchar stopped moving and looked at the dent in the wall mischeveously.He ran past the Machoke and then sent flaming Embers flying at the dent. They hit and the wall bursted into flames.

"You!" she said pointing to a grunt in the hallway. "Get in here with your Floatzel!"

"Ma'am!" he said and then ran into the room. "Go Floatzel!" A huge sea weasel looking pokemon bursted into the room. "Use Ice Beam." The weasel nodded and sent a beam at the wall. It hit the wall and the wall froze in ice. Chimchar grinned with delight.

"You idiot!" the lady yelled. "You just helped the Chimchar."

Chimchar ran up to the wall and kicked it as hard as he could, but it didn't do a thing. The Machoke then slammed its fist into Chimchar's back. Chimchar flew into the wall and the wall bursted in to pieces. Chimchar was at the bottom of all the plaster and struggled to get out of the pile. He looked around and noticed they were super close to the exit. He ran towards the door ad bursted through it. He came out to an open field full of flowers.

"Floaroma Town." he said. (Chim.)

Then the doors bursted open again and the lady grabbed Chimchar from his neck. Chimchar squirmed to get out and saw a purple ball foating in the air. It wasn't a ball though, it was a Drifloon.

"Hey you! Help me out here and fly me to Route 202 away from this crazy lady!" Chimchar pleaded. (Char! Chimchar Chim!)

The Drifloon stared at Chimchar and slowly floated his way.

"Get out of here you balloon." the lady said.

Drifloon finaly arrived in front of the lady and Chimchar. It stared at her and then a strong purple wind passed by. She started rising from the ground and flew back into the building's wall. While she was flying she let Chimchar fly out of her hands. Chimchar flew into Drifloon and grabbed the sings that came from it's body. Then, the Drifloon floated away from the building alot faster then it had getting over to Chimchar.

---Meanwhile---

Damion sat down on the ground next to Diamond and pulled out a few sandwhichs from his knapsack. He handed Diamond, who had finally stopped crying, a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich and gave Pearl a turkey sandwhich.

"Thanks Damion." Diamond said.

"No problem buddy." Damion said.

Diamond unwrapped the sandwhich and then took a bite out of the sandwhich. As he took a bite, jelly oozed out of the sandwhich and dripped down Diamond's chin. Diamond laughed and wiped the jelly off his chin with his arm. It reminded him of the days when Damion and himself would go out and et lunch at Lake Verity together.

Diamond finished the delishious lunch and looked up in the sky. Where was Chimchar? Was he ok? What if they were hurting him? All these things raced through Diamond's head as a purple wind passed by.

"Hey, Pearl. Isn't that a Drifloon or Drifblim's Ominous Wind?" Diamond asked pointing towards the purple wind.

"Why yes. Yes it is." Pearl said.

"Chimchar!" something yelled.

Diamond spun around and looked in the sky to find Chimchar riding on a Drifloon! "Chimchar!" Diamond yelled. Chimchar swung on the strings and then let go and fell straight into Diamond's arms. Diamond hugged Chimchar close to his body and so did Chimchar. They didn't let go of eachother for a long time.

Diamond looked up into the sky wanting to say thank you to the Drifloon, but it was gone. Chimchar jumped out of Diamond's arms and stood at his feet. Damion stod up and walked over and stood in front of Diamond with Turtwig at his feet, and Pearl walked up and stood in between the two of them with Piplup at her feet.

She grabbed Diamond and Damion's shoulders and drew them both in closer. "Teamwork guys. Let's go get those Team Galactic Jerks." she said.

Chimchar nodded and held up his left fist up in the air ready and looked at Turtwig. Turtwig nodded and looked up at Pearl, and Piplup held her flippers up in the air. "Ok everyone. Put in your hands and on three we yell 'Go get 'em!' ok?" Pearl asked. Everyone nodded and put in their right hand. "One...Two...Three!"

"Go get 'em!" the three of them yelled at the same time. Diamond picked Chimchar up and then the three of them walked down the route towards Jubilife City.

Chapter 5: Let's go get 'em!​

Damion looked around everywhere for Diamond. Diamond had spotted a blue and black dog-like pokemon and had dashed off towards it with Chimchar. Pearl had dashed away after a Bidoof, but Damion didn't worry about her.

"Chimchar use Ember!" Diamond shouted from somewhere.

Damion looked towards his right where he had heard the shout form Diamond come from. He dashed through the green bushes barricading his path towards Diamond. He came to an open grassy field and saw Chimchar and Diamond on one side with the dog-like pokemon on the other.

Chimchar jumped up into the air and shot burning embers out at the dog. The dog quickly jumped out of the way, but wasn't fast enough to dodge the second set of embers. They hit the dog and the dog plummeted to the ground. Damion pulled out his brand new pokedex and scanned the dog.

Shinx, the Flash Pokemon. All of its fur dazzles if danger is sensed. It flees while the foe is momentarily blinded.

Damion slipped his pokedex into his back pocket and sat down next to Turtwig as he came running up. Chimchar did a back flip in midair and landed on the ground softly and quietly.

Piplup was just getting started. Battling a Bidoof next to a lake wasn't to hard. It was really easy actually. The Bidoof was panting heavily and was soaking wet. Piplup had knocked it into the lake next to them. The Bidoof then charged Piplup. Right as the Bidoof was going to hit Piplup, she jumped out of the way into the air.

"Piplup use Bubble!" Pearl responded quickly.

Piplup flipped upside down and shot a beam of bubbles (not as strong as a bubblebeam though). The Bidoof was hit and it rolled onto its back unconscious. Pearl smiled and unclipped a pokeball from her belt, pressed the middle button, and threw it at the Bidoof. The pokeball hit it and the Bidoof was engulfed in a red light. It disappeared inside the pokeball and it landed on the ground. It slowly waddled from side to side until it eventually stopped moving. Pearl had caught a Bidoof!

Shinx pounced and pinned Chimchar to the ground. Both pokemon were panting heavier then usual now and were both ready to win.

"Chimchar use Ember!" Diamond said.

Chimchar coughed a cloud of smoke in Shinx's face, unable to produce fire as easy as he could without something being on top of him. Then, a bunch of burning embers were blasted on Shinx's stomach and face with a lot of pressure added to the attack. Shinx flew in to the air and then came crashing back down towards Chimchar. Chimchar quickly got out of the way and watched as the Shinx came crashing down.

"Go, pokeball!" Diamond said unclipping a pokeball from his belt and hurling it at the unconscious dog.

The pokeball hit the dog and clicked open. Then, the dog disappeared in a flashing red light and the Shinx disappeared in it. The pokeball landed on the ground with a thud and started wriggling back and forth, until it stopped moving and a slight click was heard. Diamond had caught a Shinx! Diamond jumped in to the air excited and Chimchar ran up to the pokeball. He grabbed it and ran over with it to Diamond. He gave it to Diamond who smiled and patted Chimchar's head.

Then, the bushes behind Diamond rustled. Diamond spun around on his heel wondering if it was another pokemon he could catch, but it wasn't. Pearl came walking out looking as proud as ever.

"What's wrong? Your acting different, Pearl." Diamond said.

Pearl smiled and pulled out the pokeball with her new companion inside it. "I caught myself a Bidoof." she said with a wide grin across her face.

"Cool. I just now caught myself a Shinx." Diamond said.

Chimchar jumped in the air clapping his hands together as Piplup just stood next to her trainer. Damion walked up next to Diamond and threw his arm across Diamond's shoulders.

"Yeah my buddy here caught an awesome electric type and not a wimpy normal type pokemon." Damion mocked.

"Oh, and what did you catch, Damion?" Pearl asked.

"Erm. Well, nothing yet." Damion admitted.

Pearl nodded. "That's right. You shouldn't be mocking me after I already beat the Elite Four and won the pokemon league."

"Then why don't you just get Rowan to send you your precious pokemon?" Damion asked.

But before Pearl could respond, Damion stormed off into the forest in search of a pokemon. Diamond sighed and ran off in search of him, followed close behind by Pearl.

Why does it seem like all of a sudden Damion hates me? Pearl wondered to herself.

Damion ran towards a river he noticed after seeing a Goldeen in it. He tried o skid to a halt in front of it, but tripped on a rock and fell into the river. Diamond came out of the bushes just in time to see Damion hit the water. He gasped and ran over to the river.

The currents were moving fast and he couldn't see Damion anymore. He looked around for anything he might be able to climb on or use to get down the river safely. Then, he saw a bunch of trees with swaying vines. He nodded at Chimchar and then grabbed one of the vines. He started swinging from one vine to the next and Pearl came out of the forest just in time to see Diamond swing off. She ran down next to the trees and next to Diamond.

"What are you doing?" She asked while running.

"Damion fell or jumped into the river. The currents are moving to fast for me to get there quickly enough by foot, but I have a better chance at getting there by tree vines." Diamond replied.

"Yeah well I'm running just as fast as you are swinging so." Pearl stated.

"Well, are you getting tired yet?" Diamond asked.

"A little I guess." Pearl said.

"Well, I'm not getting tired at all." Diamond said.

Suddenly Diamond swung off through the vines a lot quicker then Pearl could run and he dashed in to first place between the two of them.

It was getting harder and harder to breath. Damion couldn't swim up to the top because the currents were rushing to quickly. Damion was underwater in the river he had fallen into and was doing front flips and back flips in the water. Then, he realized Turtwig was with him somewhere. He looked frantically around and saw Turtwig, unconscious in the water.

"Turtwig...Return!" Damion said. Turtwig disappeared and Damion felt a hand come around his upper body. He looked behind himself to see Diamond underwater and he was trying to pull Damion to land. Then, a blanket of black started seeping over him.

I can't believe it. I'm actually passing out. Damion thought. Then, Damion passed out in Diamond's arms. Diamond flinched and swam up to the top of the river. He barely managed to and then looked around for land. He saw a few rocks in the water near them and he quickly grabbed one. He slowly started to pull them towards the rocks and then managed to climb on top of one. He pulled Damion, who had stuck on Diamond's foot, up on top of another rock.

Damion finally came to. He sat straight up with groggy eyes searching the room. He was in what looked like a doctor's waiting room.

"Oh. You finally came to, Damion." Diamond said. "We're in the Jubilife Pokemon Center."

Damion nodded his head and then quickly fell back again and fell asleep. He was exhausted and Pearl was nowhere in sight. Hopefully she won't come back to travel with us either. Damion hoped.

Chapter 6: Win or Lose?​

Diamond sat at a table straight across from the still tired Damion, as both of them were sipping on their own bowl of chicken noodle soup. Diamond sat facing the door and Damion sat facing the wall. Chimchar and Shinx were out of their pokeballs and they were running across the floor near them, playing, with Damion's Turtwig. Damion, noticing Diamond look at the three pokemon, looked down at his Turtwig and his face seemed to turn a little gloomier.

"I'm going to catch a pokemon soon." Damion stated.

Diamond, snapping out of his thoughts, looked up at Damion and managed to do a forced grin. Then, the door opened and the bell tingled. Diamond looked up and saw a young lady a few years older then them walk in. It was Pearl.

"Yeah, and I don't care how good she thinks she is, but I know we can beat Pearl in two minutes flat!" Damion said sticking his arms behind his head and closing his eyes.

Diamond quickly looked back and forth from Pearl to Damion knowing Pearl had heard the last statement. Pearl turned her head around and stared at Damion as foul as maggoty stew. She marched up behind Damion and lightly tapped his shoulder.

"Go away. Can't you see that I'm talking to my best buddy about how we can beat this girl called Pearl-" Damion stopped in the middle of his sentence after turning around and seeing Pearl standing behind him. "I meant another Pearl." Damion said sarcastically.

"Sure you did. Diamond, how many other Pearls does Damion here know?" Pearl asked.

"I'm not getting involved in this. Instead, I'm going to quietly sip on this here soup." Diamond said.

"Oh, that reminds me. Here, Diamond, I grabbed us all a Poke'tch, cut appearently Mr. Hotshot here thinks he's to good for one." Pearl said taking out a watch looking device from her knapsakc and tossing it over to Diamond.

Diamond caught the device and slapped it on to his writs. It was blue, had a small screen, and a big red button. The screen currently read 6:30 P.M. Diamond pressed the big red button and the screen changed and it showed a small sprite picture of his Chimchar and his Shinx.

"Thanks, Pearl." Diamond said.

"Welcome, Diamond." Pearl said.

Damion looked up at the towering Pearl, who had a grim expression over her face, and laughed sarcastically. "So, Pearl... when do I get my Poke'tch?" he asked.

Pearl laughed and then slammed her fist in Damion's face. Damion grabbed his face and moaned in pain. Diamond stood up and put himself in between Damion and Pearl. "Guys, come on now. Let's settle this the mature way, with a pokemon battle. If Damion wins he gets a Poke'tch and if Pearl wins she gets to choose wether Damion gets one or not." Diamond said.

"Ok. I'll go with that challenge." Pearl agreed.

"Oh yeah! Now I get to show Pearl I was right... by beating her!" Damion said quickly recovering.

Diamond nodded and finished eating his soup. He grabbed Chimchar and Shinx and walked out. Damion and Pearl quickly followed out and shoved eachother through the door. A few minutes later they arrived at a park with three battlefields. Two were occupied but the other wasn't.

Pearl and Damion took there spots on the dusty battlefield. Damion snickered as Turtwig ran out on to the battlefield and Pearl's Piplup waddled on to the field. Diamond yawned as he sat down on a nearby bench with Chimchar and Shinx sitting on the ground near his feet.

"Let's go! Turtwig start this battle off with a Tackle!" Damion shouted.

"Dodge and use Pound!" Pearl reacted.

Damion's bored looking Turtwig rushed on the battlefield towards Piplup. His feet brushing against the cold, wet grass with every stride. Turtwig lunged at Piplup, who in return, jumped out above Turtwig. Turtwig stopped confused a little and then realized that Piplup had jumped above him. Piplup then dived toward Turtwig. Unable to get out of the way, Turtwig was thashed in to the ground. Piplup popped off of Turtwig and waddled to the other side of the field.

Turtwig looked at Piplup furiously and bent his head forewards. Then, seeds starting rapidly firing at Piplup. Piplup, dazed by what was happening, didn't move and stayed in her dismayed position. The seeds came into contact with Piplup. She yelped in pain and flew in to a tree behind her and slid down to the ground. Turtwig then ran at Piplup. He colided with her and then backed up a little dazed.

"Piplup use Ariel Ace!" Pearl said.

Piplup regained her trace of thought and her right arm began to glow. She dashed at Turtwig with amazing speed. Then, she appeared right behind Turtwig and surprised him. He turned around and then was socked right under his chin. He flew in to the air and hit a flag pole. He fell to the ground in a bunch of bushs. Damion ran quickly over to his injured Turtwig, dismayed at what might be revealed, and pulled his pokemon out. Once Turtwig was pulled out, it revealed him being knocked out. Damion suddenly turned absolut gloomy and returned Turtwig. He stood up and walked off, still gloomy. Diamond watched as Pearl returned her Piplup and sat next to Diamond trying to get his attention.

"Hey, Diamond! Did you see my awesome battling? It was cool wasn't it? I knew Damion sucked at battling so I knew I could beat him." Pearl bragged. Pealr continued to brag but Diamond was hardly listening as he watched his best friend walk off gloomy towards the pokemon center. It finally got to where Diamond couldn't stand Pearl's bragging anymore.

"Shut up! Can't you see that your hurting Damion's feelings? Yeah he might be a hothead sometimes, but you have no right to say your better then himk. You have had about 3 years of pokemon battling practice as to where he has had like none! He's my best friend and if you think you can steal me away from him, then your wrong!" Diamond yelled at her standing up and thrusting his arms out in every which direction. After yelling at Pearl he dashed off towards Damion to cheer him up.

Once Diamond was gone, he had left Pearl all alone. She looked down at her skirt as tears swelled up in her eyes. "He thinks I'm trying to steal him away from Damion?" Pearl asked herself aloud. Then, she began to cry.

Again, Pikalover, I recommend you to slow down your release of chapters. I know its exciting to get the fic going, but allow yourself SOME time to rest and take a break. Just be patient with your releases instead of releasing them daily. Take time out. Enjoy your life outside of PC. :) Trust me, your readers will STILL be here.
