Diamond and Pearl Special!

Chapter 7: Friends?​

Damion slummped over on to the cold, wet grass, blowing in the breeze. It was cold on his neck as he laid down in it. He closed his eyes and drew in a deep breath. Why couldn't he beat Pearl? Just then a hge gust of wind whirrled by him. It was the perfect day to do something with a friend or friends, but without friends it was the worst day ever. ​

Then, Damion heard a scraping sound nearby. He sat up and slowly looked around. Then, a big chunk of bark flew on top of his head from the tree above him. He looked up and saw a little cat that was having trouble climbing up the tree. It had black and brown ears, a yellow amulet, and brown tips on its feet and tail.Damion noticed that it was a pokemon and quickly scanned it.

Meowth, the Scratch Cat Pokemon. It is nocturnal in nature. If it spots something shiny, its eyes glitter brightly. ​

The cat was on a really high branch and it was a huge fall from where it was at. Damion looked around for anything he could use. Then, he heard footsteps. He spun around on his heel to see Diamond. Diamond had his hands thrust in his pockets and Chimchar was sitting on his head. Diamond looked up and smiled at Damion.​

"Hey, Damion." Diamond said quietly.​

"Hey, Diamond." Damion said.​

"What are you doing?" Diamond asked looking up in the tree.​

"Oh. That Meowth is stuck and I don't know how to get him down." Damion said.​

Diamond nodded and looked up at Chimchar who seemed to know what Diamond was going to say. Chimchar nodded and jumped off of Diamond's hat on to one of the tree branches and began climbing. Chimchar flipped up on to one of the top branches just a few branches above the squirming Meowth.​

Chimchar jumped down to the branch where the Meowth was squirming to get on to the branch, causing the branch to shake. The Meowth lost his grip on the branch as it shook, and began to fall towards the ground. Damion reacted quickly and dove just beneath the Meowth and caught him. The Meowth opened his eyes and looked at Damion. He smiled and then quickly ran away. Damion decided he wanted the Meowth and quickly ran after it. ​

Chimchar jumped on to Diamond's head and Diamond walked off to the Pokemon Center. Damion followed the cat as it jumped over people, under people, and everywhere you could think of. It was hard keeping track of the cat, but Damion managed to do it. ​

A young girl bent over to pick something up and as she began to rise Meowth jumped over her causing Damion to ram in to the girl and they both flew back.​

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" she yelled at Damion. ​

Damion sighed and stood up. He dusted himself off and turned around to face her with his eyes closed. "I'm so-" Damion stopped talking as he opened his eyes and realized who it was. It was Pearl. "What are you doing here?" Damion asked sourly. ​

"I was looking for you and Diamond. I wanted to say I was sorry and to prove it I want to give you this." Pearl said taking out the orange Poke'tch for Damion. Damion looked at it surprised and smiled. He took the Poke'tch from Pearl and went back to chasing the cat.​

Damion whirled around the corner and found the Meowth being held by the scruff of its neck by a spacemen.​

"Team Galactic! Let that Meowth go!" Damion yelled pulling out Turtwig's pokeball.​

The man looked up at Damion and smirked. "You again? Won't you ever learn?" he asked.​

"Go Turtwig! Let's find out who's gonna learn!" Damion threatened.​

"Go, Buizel! I can beat you with my brand new pokemon." he said.​

In a blinding white flash out popped Damion's gras turtle who looked a little tired from his earlier battle. In another blinding white light an orange sea weasel with two tails. Damion unlipped his pokede out of its case and scanne the sea weasel.​

Buizel, the sea wesael pokemon. It has a flotation sac that is like an inflatable collar. It floats on water with its head out. ​

Damion gulped. Could he realy deafeat this guy after seeing how badly their leader had beat Diamond? And Turtwig was already hurt!

I decided not to edit the chapter and just make a new one...So here it is!


Chapter 8: Battle Time!​


Damion was shaking in his boots. Well, in his running shoes...he didn't have any boots. He was jittery and he didn't want Turtwig to be taken away, but he had to help that Meowth and hopefully capture it. The man smirked realizing that Damion was scared.

"Buizel, use Swift!" The man said arrogantly.

"Dodge and use Razor Leaf, Turtwig!" Damion reacted swiftly.

The Buizel jumped high in to the air and started turning around in circles as it's tails started lighting up. Then, a bunch of stars came bursting out of the tips of its tails like water dripping out of a facet. Turtwig jumped in to the air as the stars collided with the ground and brushed a bunch of smoke in to the air.

Turtwig soon landed on the ground and started twisting his head around in circles rapidly. Every single circle he made a leaf came bursting from the twig on his head. Each leaf collided with the descending Buizel, sending it flying in to a nearby fence post. The Buizel hit it and rose to its feet slowly. The attack had been super effective.

"Damion! Be careful!" a shout said coming from behind Damion. Damion jumped slightly and looked over his shoulder to see Pearl and Diamond looking at him. Pearl looked a little more worried then Diamond, but Diamond was panting hard. Damion nodded and then Turtwig came shooting at him. Turtwig collided with Damion causing Damion to fall to the ground.

"Ow." Damion complained. He picked Turtwig up and set him back on the ground and then faced the Team Galactic Grunt again. "Use Tackle and while running use Razor Leaf!"

Turtwig shook his head and then started bolting towards Buizel. He started rapidly twisting his head in circles and shooting leaves at Buizel with every twist. Buizel jumped in to the air dodging a few, but Turtwig aimed higher and hit Buizel. Then, the leaves stopped coming at Buizel, but Turtwig collided with Buizel, sending him flying in to his own trainer. Buizel's trainer ducked and Buizel fell behind his trainer.

"Get up and use Quick Attack and then Sonicboom!" his trainer scolded at Buizel, dropping Meowth. Meowth slowly backed away while nobody was looking and dashed away. Buizel coughed and got to his feet and then bursted off in blinding speed. He stopped behind Turtwig just as his tails lit up. Then, a bunch of almost see-through waves were thrusted at Turtwig. They hit and sent Turtwig rolling head over hills across the ground to his trainer's feet. Damion gritted his teeth together because he knew Turtwig couldn't take much more of this.

Please let him know this. Damion thought to himself. "Turtwig get up and use Bullet Seed!" Damion shouted. Turtwig slowly rose to his feet and tipped his head foreword a little bit with the top of his twig pointed straight at Buizel. With one pant of exhaustion Turtwig sent a lot of little rock-hard seeds rocketing at Buizel. Buizel was caught off guard and was pummeled by the seeds. "Now Razor Leaf!" Damion said excited.

Turtwig took in a deep breath and began twirling his head around shooting razor leaves at Buizel. They all hit and Buizel collapsed on to the ground knocked out. Damion threw his arms in to the air and scooped up Turtwig who was exhausted. Damion looked around for Meowth but realized it had scampered away. Damion sighed as the Team Galactic Grunt began bursting out with insults at his Buizel.

"You are the worst pokemon ever! You got beat by a turtle! You shouldn't even be called a pokemon! Worthless trash, that's what you should be called!" The grunt screamed at Buizel.

Buizel was on the ground hurt tremendously while this was going on and was crushed by what his trainer was saying. The grunt dropped Buizel's little pokeball and stomped on it, breaking it in to two halves. Then, the grunt took out another pokeball and called out a large bird and quickly flew away, leaving the Buizel there injured. Damion looked at the Buizel feeling sorry for how miserable it must feel right now. He walked over to the Buizel and sat on the ground next to it.

"Hey. You put up an awesome battle. No matter what that Team Galactic Jerk says about you. I had type advantage and you had type disadvantage, but you still managed to pull of an awesome battle." Damion praised. Buizel looked up at Damion with a hint of admiration in it's eyes.

"Bui?" It said questioningly.

"Of course you did. And, in fact, I would be honored to have you on my team." Damion said. He grabbed an empty pokeball from his belt, pressed the middle button to make the pokeball larger, and set it down on the ground in front of Buizel. Buizel looked at the pokeball wondering what to do. He really liked Damion, but should he join them? Buizel stood on to his two feet and then finally kicked the pokeball's button with his foot. A red light flashed and Buizel disappeared in to the pokeball.

The pokeball wriggled back and forth for a few minutes. Turtwig was standing behind it and Damion was sitting in front of it. The pokeball stopped moving and clicked and Damion had caught Buizel. Damion smiled and picked the pokeball up.

"I caught a Buizel!" he announced. Turtwig jumped in to the air and Pearl and Diamond walked up to Damion with big smiles on their faces.

They looked at each other and then said simultaneously "Good for you!"​

Chapter 9: Movie Time​

The trio of friends were walking down the last street before they exited Jubilife and got onto Route 203 and closer to Oreburgh. Damion and Diamond were looking at their teams stats on their Poketch. Diamond's Chimchar was lvl. 11 and his Shinx was lvl. 10. Damion's Turtwig was lvl. 13 and Buizel was lvl. 11. Diamond was in the middle of the three, Damion was on the left side of him, and Pearl was on the right side of him.​

Diamond noticed Pearl shift and look at her own team's stats. Diamond returned to the main screen of his Poe'tch and glanced over at Pearl's team. Her Piplup was lvl. 14 and her Bidoof was lvl. 13! How had she gotten so much stronger? She hadn't even battled a Team Galactic member like Damion and himself had. Pearl noticed Diamond looking at her team and she quickly switched the screen off and smiled at Diamond.​

"Hey guys. We haven't watched a movie in a long time together. So how about we catch a movie before we leave for Oreburgh?" Pearl asked seeing a sign that read Jubilife Theatre.​

Damion and Diamond sighed and looked at eachother and then looked back at her. "No. It's almost 1:00 P.M. and the kind of movies you always watch are like two in a half hours to four hours long. We'll never make it to Oreburgh tonight if we watch one of those long movies." Diamond said.​

"Well. Who says we need to be at Oreburgh by tonight?" Peark asked.​

"Um. Me and Diamond want to have our first gym battle ASAP and we can't do that if we watch one of your stinking movies. We'll get at Oreburgh today, get a room, and have our gym battles in the morning." Damion said.​

"Well fine. You guys can go to Oreburgh and I'll stay here and watch a movie, and I'll catch up to you guys tonight." Pearl said. She turned around on her heel and skipped off to the movie theatre. Damion and Diamond nodded and went back to their previous actions of waling down the street.​

A few minutes later Pearl had bought her movie ticket, popcorn, and her soda and sat down in her theatre seat. She had gotten tickets for a remake of Romeo and Juliet and she knew the guys would have hated it. The theatre seats were lumpy and hard. The popcorn was nice and warm, and buttery too. ​

The screen lighted up and the movie began. A kid sat in the seat behind her with his parents and then began to kick the back of ehr seat. He obviously didn't want to be there and instead chose to pass the time with kicking her chair.​

a young man walked out and said "Gregory, o' my word, we'll not carry coals."​

Another yong man walked out as well and replied " No, for then we shoul be colliers.​

THe kid behind Pearl continued to keep kicking her chair. About an hour in to the movie it had become to much. She spun around in her chair and gave the kid a menacing stare.​

"Stop kicking my chair you twerp!" PEarl whispered kind of loudly. The parents heard her and they both kicked her chair harder once and then looked at the movie screen again. PEarl groaned as the kid continued to kick her chair. 10 bucks for this? Man, I wonder how Damion and Diamond are progressing. Pearl thought to herself.​

Diamond laughed at his histerical friend. Damion had just attempted to jump on to a high tree branch and then climb the tree, but the tree branch snapped under his weight and Damion landed on his back. Diamond didn't laugh in Damion's pain, but he laughed because it had happened to himself a million of times.​

Damion smiled and got up while rubbing his back. He shook his head free of leaves that had gotten stuck in his hair and they walked in to Oreurgh Gate through a huge hole in the mountain.​

Inside there were a bunch of torches in little holsters lighting up the whole cave. Diamond had once been in Oeburgh Gate with his father, who was off somewhere probably in the Johto or Kanto region. Diamond hadn't see his father in years. Not since he was 7. Damion wasn't as lucky as Diamond though. Damion's father had died right in front of him when he was 6. But even on the anniversarry of that dreadful day Damion still wears that jolly smile of his.​

Then, the next thing Diamond knew, he was laying on the cold cave floor with his face on the floor. Damion was thrown to the ground right next to Diamond, but he was sitting on the ground, and he looked terrified.​

"What is it, Damion?" Diamond asked turning around on the ground. As soon as he saw who it was he stopped in his tracks, frozen. It was the Team Galactic Commander who had stolen his Chimchar. Diamond then turned from terrified, to furious. "You. You're the one who stole Chimchar!" Diamond yelled at her.​

The commander giggled and brushed her hand on her face and walked towards Diamond. Diamond scrammbled to his face as the commander brushed her hand on his face. "Diamond. I've heard things about you. You grew up on a ranch with pokemon, you haven't seen your dad since you were seven, and shall I say the last fact in front of your best friend?" she asked.​

Diamond gritted his teeth knowing what was coming next. He couldn't bare to let Damion know, but he couldn't bring himself to say no at the commander. It was as if there was a huge lump in his throat, preventing him from saying a word.​

"Ah. Well then. Damion, do you know who killed your father when you were six?" the commander asked turning to Damion. Damion was still sitting on the ground and then finally, he shook his head in reply. "Well. You wouldn't know the man, but you should know the person who told the ma about your father."​

"Shut up!" Diamond yelled at her managing to say something. His eyes were swealing up with tears he knew what was coming.​

"Well. The man who killed your father didn't know where he lived, so he knocked on someone's door and asked for directions. That house had a young boy, which at the time, was about your age. The kid pointed out your house and the man went and killed your father. Do you know who that kid was?" she asked.​

"Shut up!" Diamond yelled again, this time he shed a few tears.​

"N..no." Damion said confused about why Diamond was trying to prevent her from saying anything further.​

"Well. That kid, was none other then your best friend, Diamond here." she said.​

Damion froze. He couldn't believe it. His best friend, had led the man who killed his father to his house. HE slowly looked at Diamond who had now broken down in tears.​

"Damion, I'm sorry. I didn't know the man was going to kill your father or I wouldn't have said anything. I figured it wsa one of your family friends or something. Damion, I'm so sorry." Diamond said.​

Damion slowly rose to his feet and then slowly backed away from Diamond. Then, he dashed off for the exit. Leaving Diamond and the commander behind him.​

"You're going to pay for that. He was my best friend and you know I hadn't ment to harm his family in any way!" Diamond shouted at her grabbing one of his pokeballs.​

"I now that. But Damion doesn't. As long as Damion knows your the one who basically killed his father, every time he sees you or hears your name, he'll run. He'll become stronger and then eventually, he will seek revenge." she replied grabbing her own pokeball.​

"Go, Shinx!" Diamond shouted throwing his pokeball. In a blinding white flash, out ppopped Diamond's little lion cub pokemon.​

"Go, Purugly!" she said. IN a blinding white flash out of her pokeball a huge fat cat popped out. Diamond quickly took out his pokedex and scanned the pokemon.​

Purugly: the Tiger Cat Pokemon.
It is a brazen brute that barges its way into another Pokemon's nest and claims it as its own.​

It had been enough. Pearl had finally decided to leave the theatre and to head on over to Oreburgh. She had just gotten to the end of ROute 203 and heard a familiar voice shouting the words shut up. She dashed inside the cave to find Diamond with Shinx in front of him and Team Galactic Commander Mars. But, Damion was nowhere in sight.​

"Diamond! Where's Damion?" PEarl shouted at Diamon, but Diamond just looked behind him and turned again to face the commander. Pearl looked behind Diamond and saw the last glance of Damion as he rounded a corner and out of sight. "Let me guess. He found out about you pointing out his house to the murderer right?" Diamond nodded and wiped away his tears.​

PEarl sighed and ran past the commander and Diamond and ran after Damion. She hoped this could be fixed. Commander Mars would pay, but not right now. Diamond wasn't strong enough yet.​

I did enjoy.

This is a nice story, and it deviates from the 'three cookie-cutter Sinnoh Trainerlings go out to stop Team Galactic' formula enough to be fun to read.

All you need to do is add a bit more description and run it through a spell check, and that should do it.
 
Save them Pearl!!!! I feel so bad for Damion nad I never thought that was possible! Update soon.

Everyone who enjoys this fanfic: Sorry guys...Im having major writers block and haven't really felt like taking the time to write another chapter so...sorry.:(
 
Don't worry Pikalover, I was going through the same thing for a couple of weeks.
But! Today I just suddenly started to write and ended up with another eight paragraphs of Chapter 12.
So, whenever you've got writer's block... just say you're giving yourself a break and soon enough you'll be writing again. =)
 
Yeppers yeppers yeppers! Im taking a break! I've been reading some fanmade pokemon sotries about DP on other community sights and have found a few that help me with ideas so...
