This is where you disscuse Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Moive. It can out this weekend. I have not seen it yet.

Well, you must know that there are added scenes, and most of the events are completely out of order.

Heheh...I've read all the books, pretty good stuff! I'm not looking forward to the movie that much since movies tend to add/delete a whole bunch of stuff. I guess I'd just watch it for the laughs.

i might end up watching this movie next weekend... although, the books are probably better.. i finished the first one in a day o_o

I am going to see it tomrrow.

So, what's the status? I've read the first two books a bit of time ago and had some pretty nice laughs from it, and the TV-trailers are just so funny. Is it how the Percy Jackson movie ended up, with skipping a junkload of things and adding new things in?

Personally, sicne all the characters are basically stick figures, I'd love to see how they'd end up as real action characters.

This movie was not like the book, however, it was still great. It introduced new characters such as Angie that weren't in the book, but they made a great addition in this movie. Although I am not going to say too much, the ending was just like the book. Many new events were added and some were left out. Most of the events, however, were out of order, but it still had a similar story line. I would definitely recommend this movie to others because of its great way of incorporating new things, along with keeping the old. Occasionally, bits and pieces of the book would return, but I thought that it was perfect touch for the movie.

I really enjoyed BITS of the books, yes I said "BITS" because I really didn't get to read the whole story since the book was either lost, stolen or ripped up.
But from the sound of it, it must be good. So I can't wait.
