    In India,
    Around 10 episodes after 'Attack of the prehistoric Pokemon' (the 1 in which Charmeleon evovles into Charizard) there were 2 episodes in which ash has his Charmander.
    it was when Ash reaches some Mountains and it was very cold and snowy, ash gets lost with his Pokemon and they are buried under some layer of snow
    CHarmander gives Ash and the other Pokemon some heat.

    Did this happen in the US too?
     
    Yes, the eps whit charmander are x-mas specials (In japan, dunno if the aired during x-mas in the US), a side-story so to say that didn't follow the timeline of the original story...

    I suppose you're talking about episode 066 "Onix as Bivouac" or "Snow Way Out" as it was dubbed. Actually, this is not counted as a special episode... It is just chronologically placed before many happening even though it was aired after them. That happened in order to fit the Christmas (on specific countries). There are also some times reruns of it during the Christmas Period.
     
    Yeah. They played Snow Way Out out of order in order to fit the Christmas theme at the time. It competely messed up the order and confuse some people like me. Still it doesn't really matter.

    Those episodes were suppose to air sometime after the banned porygon episode. There were a few weeks without Pokemon. so yeh.

    Well, that's because it was originally banned, but then later for some reason 4Kids & KidsWB changed their minds.

    Hence why they called it "The Lost Episode" in the promotions.
