Dies Irae (Judgement Day) Upon Us

"And of course, my favorite little rebellious loud mouth who has yet to learn her place in the world. To answer your question of who I am. My name is Raizel and I am a well-respected trainer hailing from the Johto region. My status is that of a champion battler and Elite 4 contender. So my ego is well earned and pushing around kids like you who believe the own the place is a pastime of mine. It maintains order. By the way, unless Kanto is some dictatorship, I believe I have the right to do anything I want. But I have a question: Can your fists even reach my face?"

Okay, so now her frustration concerning his pride, arrogance and high values of self-importance had completely dissipated thanks to him branding her as a kid. This was the last straw, her body trembling with rage- when angered, Fenton's behaviour was not so different to that of an erupting volcano, and her temper was about to shoot upwards, into the stratosphere. His taunt, projected to her in the form of a query, also fuelled the fury swelling within her chest. Her teeth were bared, brows knitted tightly together, giving her the air of a savage girl who was seconds away from launching herself at him and clawing at that idiotic expression upon his face. It was undeniable that she despised being reminded of her youthful appearance, but this reaction was extreme, even for Fenton.

"I'm not a kid, dammit! I'm gonna be eighteen this year!" She protested brazenly, trying her best to keep her dignity, though she began inhaling and exhaling deeply, in order to channel the negativity away. It didn't benefit her in the slightest, because she still had the urge to rearrange his facial features with her fists. "Well-respected, my ass," she sneered, swinging her right arm across her body and back again, prepping herself for the attack. Even if she couldn't hit him in the face, there was always his stomach, or... He had turned away, to address the other boy, allowing Fenton to catch a glimpse of the newest addition to the group- a guy with really bright, white teeth. Her anger lingering still, Fenton restrained herself from hitting him, instead, and approached one of the machines, blindly releasing her rage on the helpless computer. It emitted an ominous whirring sound, the screen display flickering and becoming de-calibrated.

"Travis? I see we got a lot of other trainers here. Who do we have here? I'm ashamed to admitt I only know a few names here. That I know is Raziel, and that's Katem...who are you guys, I'm very sorry..."

Oh crap. She recognised that voice from the radio show in Johto. From various news bulletins and documentaries. Pulling her hand away and blinking dumbly at her knuckles, which were throbbing like mad, Fenton sheepishly stepped away from her inanimate victim and rubbed the skin beneath her gloves, pulling the material back to inspect the damage she had inflicted on herself. That was going to be one heck of a bruise... In case she had been witnessed by one of the aides, she remained silent, up until The Dictator spoke again.

"Count me in. I don't think the world has a pin big enough for his head if he were to save us all from the apocalypse on his own." She sighed, folding her arms and shrugging her shoulders. "Travis, Teeth Man- sorry, I didn't get your name- Carolyn, was it? Hope you guys don't mind if I tag along too."

Oddly enough, it felt like something was calling Zora, though she couldn't quite place her finger on it. Something about a lab.... Better make my way on down there! But I don't have a ride.... Heading over the pier, another earthquake struck, knocking Zora into the pier's wall. Struggling to get up (her skin really couldn't handle this kind of impact), Zora then proceeded to wait by the dock. As she waited, she looked over at the island nearby. She had always wanted to go there, to see what she could find, but never had the chance to do so.

After waiting a half hour, Zora cocked her head quizzically. After all, enough time had passed for the boat to have returned; she spent about an hour and a half just getting off and lying on the ground while it shook. Worried, Zora began pacing back and forth when lo! From the sky came a wild Pidgeot.

"Come on out, Fia!" The Misdreavus popped out of its Pokeball, glad to be of service. "Use Confuse Ray!" As the Misdreavus readied her attack, the Pidgeot noticed Zora was attacking it, but just as it began to swoop down towards her, it was too late. Taking control of the Pidgeot (Fia made it so that it would think it was on Zora's side), Zora had it take off in the direction of where she felt she had to go.

Being much faster than the boat that got her there, Zora managed to reach her destination forty-five minutes afterwards. As she departed, the Pidgeot lost its confusion status for the eighth time (Fia had to continuously use Confuse Ray on it before it knocked Zora off its back) and flew off, angry at Zora and her Misdreavus. Recalling the small Pokemon, Zora proceeded to head into the lab, where she heard some arguing. Much like she noticed at One Island (these people were different, though), the girls were short like her (but seemed to be much older; Zora could tell), and the guys were rather huge. Walking near them, Zora listened to their argument. From what she picked up, some of them were well-known in parts of other regions, though she had never heard about them. Coming from the Orre region, Zora was just about known anywhere, though compared to how these people talked so highly about themselves, she didn't think she was as well-known as they were. One thing was for sure, however: They probably weren't known at all in Orre.

Carolyn was very angry by this time. She had thought of a new name for Weirdo Punk Dude, and this was Stuck Up A**. Carolyn held in her rage although the urge to get to a PC and swich out one of her pokemon for Dusky, her dusknoir was overwhelming. Dusky could, after all, take people to the spirit world.

"Bulba bulba bulbasaur saur bulbasaur bulba saaaauuur." Carolyn giggled, that had lifted her spirits. Seedling had said "When we actually come across Rayquaza and he lets out a roar saying 'Move humans, or you will be killed by my hyper beam,' and Carolyn steps out of the way but doesn't warn you, you will be sorry." She was about to translate when she remembered to keep the peace. "Okay then Raizel, believe me or not I can understand what at least my pokemon say, I haven't paid much attention to what wild pokemon say though."

Then she noticed Fenton punch a computer. That was amusing, and Carolyn was about to punch it herself, when she decided to stay calm and relaxed. She could let out her anger in an important battle. Perhaps she may even battle her new rivel Raizel one day. That sounded nice. The Rival Raizel. Even better than Stuck Up A**.

Carolyn glanced over to see a third girl walk in the building. So, Carolyn thought, are you going to be my friend or enemy...

Kamten contiuned his winning smile. "As Oak and I have already mentioned it's Kamten I am from the Hoenn region but I'll take the nice nickname you gave me" Kamten said as he took Fenton's apperence in. "Her looks certainly don't match the words she uses"Kamten said but kept it to himself as he looked over to Raizel what from was said the face of the model Johto region trainer. Kamten sighed as looked over to the girl walking into the lab "Hi I'm Kamten" Kamten said with his 35th shade of white smile.

More arguements and insults were tossed around. Travis' atemtps to quell the "playing" had gone in vain. Oh well, he was used to this in areas of his life, and it was nothing to dwell on. ...and nothing else matters...

The trainer turned to Travis.

"I apologize for that. I couldn't let them get the better of me. Personally, I rather fix this 'problem' with actual trainers that know what they are doing. If I remember correctly, your name is pretty big here in Kanto."

Aw, cud, someone knows me...

"Wouldn't know much about it, since I am Johto native myself."

Travis spoke up. "I actually thank you for not knowing much about it. I also know your name, however, not really. I've been a wanderer of Hoeen and Sinnoh for the past year." Travis said chuckling.

Oak came down and Travis began introductions of who he knew. The young girl he had forgotten the name of was Carolyn.

"You must be Oak. It will be my honor to solve this...crisis for you." Raziel said.

Something didn't feel right to Travis. The way he paused before he said crisis...was suspisious...oh well. Raziel probably just had that adventerous spirit within him. That spirit still lived in Travis, however Travis hadn't caught a single pokemon in over 8 monthes. Travis actually thought about selling most of his supplies to trainers, his trainer days were almost over. Travis was actually thinking of kicking back later in life. find a place to live. But that was a long way away. He'd take baby steps for that peace...

The one trainer who was a little younger thatn Travis also voluntered.
"Count me in. I don't think the world has a pin big enough for his head if he were to save us all from the apocalypse on his own. Travis, Teeth Man- sorry, I didn't get your name- Carolyn, was it? Hope you guys don't mind if I tag along too."

"Teeth-man?" Travis muttered.
"We could use all the help we can, I don't believe you've introduced yourself..." Travis said aloud.

He now noticed another girl walk in. "It appears we have another guest. To whom do we have the pleasure?"

OOC: Sorry for the delay <_< Also hope my post doesn't mess up your plan too much, I couldn't think of a more realistic way that wasn't completely stupid for her to end up in Pallet town. Yay for 100th post!

***

The familiar sound of soft waves lapping the beach roused her from her sleep. She didn't open her eyes; she didn't move. Her head was still screeching deliriously, the whine of blood driving her to insanity. She was cold, so cold. Her body was soaked to the bone, frozen to the core. She was shivering uncontrollably. Was she doomed to simply lie there and die, with only the constant rhythm of the waves for company?
Luce slowly opened her eyes. One eye was partially obscured by the sand that, from her point of view, stretched on for miles. She could see the waves.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
I wonder, she mused, what it must be like to be a wave. She passed out again.

When Luce next came to, the sun was lower in the sky, but nothing had changed. She wondered how long she'll stay awake this time: she felt the sweet bliss of nothingness gnawing at her mind, waiting for her to relax. Twisting her head, the young girl tried to look at what lay beyond the beach. To her relief, she saw houses in the distance. Suddenly invigorated, she began dragging her body towards them, lacking the energy to stand and walk. Her body was so heavy, weighed down by the water that had refused to dry up. A sudden thought struck her:
Ko! Tyl! Yoma!
Had her Pokemon survived within their Pokeballs through the flood? How long had they gone without food? Had they been separated from her altogether? Fearing for their lives, she reached for her belt and pried the three balls from their holders. I haven't lost them. She relaxed slightly, But are they still okay? The three balls activated in a flash of white light, stinging her eyes. Ko, Tyl and Yoma materialised in front of her, looking a little shocked but otherwise fine. Her heart unclenched herself as she gave a rattling sigh of relief.

Blackness claimed her again.

Tyl let out a shrill squawk of alarm as her Trainer fainted. Ko was quickly to her side, attempting to nudge her awake, but to no avail. Yoma was slower to react, weakened by the sun still hanging in air. Shaking itself irritably, the Duskull swooped over to its trainer and joined Ko's attempts to bring her back. Ko eventually rolled her onto her side and began calling at her face. Tyl hopped over and began wiping her sand covered face with a sad humming. From above, Yoma began calling to Ko;
"Dus-Dusk!" was all he said, but in the way of Pokemon, it meant a lot more. Leaving Tyl to tend to Luce, Ko followed what Yoma was saying and began scouring the beach with his eyes.

Yoma was right: the beach was littered with all sorts of debris that had been washed up just like them. Ko briefly wondered whether his Trainer had seen it in her half-dead state, but then pushed all thoughts of it out of his mind. Now was the time for action. He quickly formulated a plan and communicated to the other two with a short series of barks. Tyl chirped back in acknowledgement; Yoma said nothing, instead flying higher as ordered. The little Aron couldn't help but be happy to have such reliable comerades.

The Duskull winced as he flew closer to the sun, but persevered. He had grown very attached to Luce in the little time they had been together; she was so sweet and happy, but he sensed her inner frailty underneath and, despite his less-than-serious attitude, had vowed to himself that he would look after her. He was surprised that both of his new friends had felt the same. Their trainer seemed to be more connected to them than anyone else they had met, almost like she was a Pokemon herself. But Pokemon or not, he would look after her – sun or shadow. He quickly spotted what he was looking for and conveyed its location to Ko beneath.
Yoma liked the little Aron, despite their first encounter where Yoma had come off worst. He was smart and interesting, if a tad too serious. Having completed his job, Duskull dived towards the ground again, he watched Ko with his single red eye head over to the large object. It was up to him now, Yoma had another job. Diving underground like it was water, he passed as merely a shadow and headed towards the houses not too far off.

Tyl sighed to herself as she finished polishing Luce's face. Ko had hurried off when Yoma had showed him something, no doubt a way to help poor Luce. Until they got back, it was up to the little Swablu to look after their Trainer. She swept an eye over the soaked clothes and decided that they had to go. Unlike Pokemon, Humans did not have fur or feathers to simple shake when wet and cold. It was a very inefficient design that led to a lot more getting dirty than it should. Regardless, Tyl decided to change them before they became a problem. She began to expertly nip at the knot that held her Trainer's bag to her back and succeeded in releasing it. Fluttering to the other side, Tyl tugged open the bag, pleased to see its contents were still dry: the bag had a waterproof inner layer which is why Luce had kept it so long. But before she took anything out of there, she had to get those wet clothes off. It took a lot of plucking and tearing, but eventually her trainer lay naked on the beach. She would be a lot warmer without those cold rags on her, but the beach wasn't exactly cosy, so she hopped back to the bag and removed a large blanket. How it managed to fit wasn't her problem; Humans seemed able to fit all manner of things in their bags. Throwing it over Luce's body, Tyl paused briefly to mourn the loss of the jumper which, she thought proudly, had probably saved Luce's life. Nestling herself on the girl's head to keep it warm, she saw Ko returning in the distance.

Ko bounded off in the direction Yoma had indicated, running ideas through his head as he did. The beach was covered in an assortment of things; bits of buildings, lampposts, clothing, Items and even some scavenging Pokemon. He ignored them, they wouldn't be of any help and might be a problem if they found out about Luce. He soon came across what he wanted though; a large demolished iron Pokeball – the type that adorned the roof of most every PokeCenter. It was barely recognisable though with over half of it missing, but that's just what Ko needed. He leapt onto it and began chomping away. This however, was not just a snack, but a plan. Soon the iron ball had been reduced to the size of a grown man and the small Pokemon began dragging it back to his trainer. It would be the perfect way to transport her quickly, easily and safely to town where Yoma was scouting out help.

Yoma glided through the town under the guise of a shadow with Shadow Sneak. He passed a sign along the way but sadly couldn't read Human, otherwise he would know he was in Pallet Town. The area was almost completely empty, but he heard all the commotion of the town coming from one building in particular, much larger than the rest. That's where help would be.

Inside where lots of people rushing about, talking quickly and loudly and fiddling with the strange flashing boxes that seemed to be everywhere. This suited Yoma fine who could slip through them all completely undetected. He didn't want to attract too much attention; Luce hated being surrounded. Instead, he headed for a group of what seemed to be trainers who were all talking amongst themselves and an old man who had greeted them. Unsure whether or not they were the right type of people to go to, he decided to simply listen to the conversation, unknowingly poking his head out as he did so....

Carolyn was half listening to the conversation of the other trainers. She glanced around and sent Fang out, putting Seedling back in his ball. Maybe on the journey Carolyn could find the razor fang that she wanted to evolve
him into gliscor with. Then she began to think of the day she found the reaper cloth that evolved Dusky into Dusknoir. She could switch him out for Tiny or Seedling, as they were young. Carolyn decided against it although she could almost feel the presence of a dusknoir in the room.

No, it was a duskull. As Carolyn glanced over and saw it, she was surprised. Why would a duskull come into a busy bulding like this. Then it hit her, she may be able to ask it. Her understanding of pokemon that were not her own was fairly choppy, but she could make out the main idea. Carolyn remembered trying it once with the wild vaporeon Jet. It could work. "So little duskull, what brings you to this fine establishment?"

Carolyn stood with Fang, waiting for an answer.

Looking around at the people, Zora noticed a couple welcomed her. The first was someone with quite the interesting smile. He introduced himself as Kamten. Zora nodded to acknowledge him, and then the supposedly famous one told her his name was Travis, and had asked her what her name was. Smiling, Zora got into the middle of the group, so all could see her. Despite the fact others were still arguing, Zora managed to silence everyone by her very presence.

"I...am Zora Notte. I am the champion of the tournaments in the Orre region, and I have conquered most the contests in the Sinnoh region, as well as beat over half the gyms there. I came here only because it felt like I was called here. Surely you all have noticed the disturbances in the area, too, if I'm correct?

"Like Mt. Silver, One Island seemed to be experiencing that sort of phenomena related to Groudon, if I'm correct. And it might have something to do with Mt. Chimney in Hoenn, though I've never been to Hoenn before, and I could be wrong. Anyways, like I said, I was called here, and I'm assuming everyone is here about the same problem..." Darting her eyes at the various people, Zora headed out of the middle and with the others, waiting for their responses. She then turned to the one girl, who seemed to be quite perturbed with something.

A Duskull then caught Zora's eye, and as she turned to look at it, she shot a glance at the perturbed girl. She seemed to wonder where the Duskull had come from, too. It was quite suspicious, Zora thought, but at the same time, someone might be too shy to come in on everyone. Sighing, Zora looked back at the girl. She still seemed to have a perturbed aura, even though she didn't look it anymore...

The Trainer began to introduce herself.

"I...am Zora Notte. I am the champion of the tournaments in the Orre region, and I have conquered most the contests in the Sinnoh region, as well as beat over half the gyms there."

"A native from Orre? This might get interesting..." Travis thought to himself.

"I came here only because it felt like I was called here. Surely you all have noticed the disturbances in the area, too, if I'm correct? Like Mt. Silver, One Island seemed to be experiencing that sort of phenomena related to Groudon, if I'm correct."

"Well," Travis began, "I don't know about everything you've said. All I know is that ever since the three have awoken, the natural disasters have been occuring more unpredictably, and more strong. Oak is about to give us details I think..."

"And it might have something to do with Mt. Chimney in Hoenn, though I've never been to Hoenn before, and I could be wrong. Anyways, like I said, I was called here, and I'm assuming everyone is here about the same problem..." Her voice trailed off, and she looked in the direction of Carolyn. Travis looked as well. She stood before a pokemon he knew to be Duskull.

What? A duskull? What's going on?
"Carolyn, is that your Duskull?"
Gill walked over to the Duskull and began talking to it.

Carolyn turned, having realized that Travis had asked her a question. "Carolyn, is that your duskull". She glanced at duskull again and then answered. "No, but I asked it why it is here. I will be able to translate most of its answer, if I am lucky. I'm not so good with pokemon that are not my own.

Carolyn looked at duskull again, and Fang asked the question once more. "Gligar, gli gligar?" Then, Carolyn looked around, and waited.

Kamten listened in as the girl made the assumptions that Hoenn's Mt Chimney had anything to do with the natural disasters.

"I am from Hoenn and I think Mt. Chimney might have a lot to do with it cause ever since Team Magma did something to it last time it's ben acting pretty funking.

As Kamten say every one attention shifting to a duskull Kamten turn to see a girl trying to what seemed like communicate with it.

OOC: Before moderators get on our cases, lets try to keep with the four line/ 1 paragraph requirement for RP posts. I am not trying to be a jerk here, just watching out for everyone lol.

As trainers introduced themselves to the old legendary professor dubbed Oak, Raizel pondered on a few random topics as he took a seat on the ground. The first topic that wandered into his mind was why do the famed professors of every region are named after a species of tree? It began with Elm, which by itself is not that bad of a name, hell look at Raizel's birth name for a truly terrible one. In fact the name Elm could stand as a suitable and respectable name for anyone trying to be successful. Raizel then traveled to Sinnoh and eventually met Professor Rowan, which he personally thought was a pretty badass name and Rowan earned Raizel's respect shortly after their meeting.(OOC: Sorry for the language). It was in Hoenn, when he met Birch that it got ridiculous. Birch was hard to take seriously to begin with but the name and the coincidence regarding the name made Raizel question it. Oak solidified the theory that a requirement to becoming a "Pokemon Professor" is that you must be named after a tree, otherwise your discoveries and everything you stand for don't matter. So who's next? Maple? Mahogany?

The next topic which also kept Raizel from completely mocking Oak for his name was the recent updates in Trainers. A few introduced themselves and he discovered a few names. He didn't particularly care as the only trainer he considered worthwhile was Travis as the others were child's play. Some more trash talking ensued, all directed Raizel no less, but he brushed it off for the time being. Instead watching the reactions and rage he inspired became quite amusing especially when the one child smashed a machine. He laughed at the pain he know she inflicted upon herself and continued to ponder on random topics. Another trainer walked in later. Apparently she was from Orre region and a champion no less. Good, he thought. We need more trainers with actual skills. Not children with high aspirations for themselves. She introduced herself as Zora, a name that was about as real as Raizel. As much as he wondered if she ran away from filthy rich parents due to a lack of respect, attention, and care, he didn't bother to ask. At least not yet. He rather wait and be approached before he causes as much as damage as the legendary Pokemon that are creating world disasters.

Of course, another distraction that actually made Raizel jump from the ground to both his legs with great speed and agility. The years of training increased his athletic abilities to a near Olympic level so the leap from utter shock was an easy feat. It was a ghost...well a ghost Pokemon to be technical. A Duskull, he saw them in battle and the Pokemon from his experience is damn pathetic and a waste of space. No one claimed the Pokemon and it was just shifting around looking at everyone. The girl who claimed she could speak to Pokemon tried to communicating with it, but Raizel didn't buy it for one second. "I had enough with this damn Pokemon buzzing. It is obviously wild and everyone here should know what you do with wild Pokemon. You destroy it so it leaves you alone!" he yelled out in anger. "Go Houndoom!" Raizel dropped his Pokeball and with bright shining lights, a Houndoom rose with a great roar of rage similar to his trainer's previous outburst. Houndoom's fur was as black was night and the horns sharper than any blade. The white bands that are typical for the species were glistening in the limited light of the building. Clearly anyone with eyes could see the Pokemon was well cared for and that it was strong enough to murder the wild Pokemon. "Houndoom. Prepare a Dark Pulse attack to blast that ghost out of the building." Dark energy was focused within the Pokemon, and in mere moments the attack was fully charged and ready to go. Houndoom's mouth filled with the energy of the attack; it had seemed if the shadows themselves gathered in a single point. The attack was potent and definitely powerful. People of analytic natures could tell this was Raizel showing off his power, probably to prove a point. Others would argue the man was simply crazy. Either way, you aren't far off from the truth. Without warning, Raizel yelled the word: Fire. Raizel ordered the command with such a lack of empathy, it seemed the room became colder.

RP

"Quick Fang, deflect the dark pulse with x-sissor(sp??)!" Fang's x-sissor was barely on time, but duskull was left unharmed. Houndoom was hurt by the deflected dark pulse, but not by much, and Fang was also hurt by dark pulse. Carolyn was really mad at Raizel now. "How could you?! You know I had originally thought that I should get out Dusky and have him take you to the spirit world. That would be cruel though. Think of all the poor pokemon and people that would have to deal with you there." Carolyn was fuming, and Fang braced himself for another attack.

OOC: Plan-B's got a point
guys, try to keep posts at the minimum please. If you're new I can nuderstand, but try your best anway lol. Also Plab-B, I do't care if "badass" is used. lol

IC:

Things happened fast.
Travis stared at the Duskull.
This can't be wild...it's not attacking and Duskull don't live around here. I would know, I live here!

Travis called Gill over and knelt down. That's when the unexpected happened. Raziel shouted out in anger, "I had enough with this damn Pokemon buzzing. It is obviously wild and everyone here should know what you do with wild Pokemon. You destroy it so it leaves you alone! Go Houndoom!"
And he dropped a pokeball onto the floor, containing a Houndoom. The huge dog-like pokemon looked about as angry as Raziel looked right about now. Travis stood up.

"Houndoom. Prepare a Dark Pulse attack to blast that ghost out of the building." Raziel said.
"Raziel! This is not the time or the place for this!" Travis said, but his voice was drowned out by the blast of energy aimed at the Duskull. Carolyn had another plan however.

"Quick Fang, deflect the dark pulse with x-sissor!" she yelled. And her Gligar leapt into action, barely saving the Duskull from a rather nasty looking attack. Both the Gligar and houndoom recieved some damage afterwards, but Duskull was unharmed. Carolyn was furious.

"How could you?! You know I had originally thought that I should get out Dusky and have him take you to the spirit world. That would be cruel though. Think of all the poor pokemon and people that would have to deal with you there." she shouted, and looked as if a battle was about to commence.

This was unnacceptable. Travis stood in between the trainers. Travis felt one of his dark moods rising. A mood best described by the song "The Unnamed Feeling."

...it comes alive, and I die a little more
And the unnamed feeling, it comes alive
The unnamed feeling treats me this way
The unnamed feeling Takes me away...

Travis hated them, but when they came, he could not get rid of them easily, and he also seemed to get the point across when he became angry as this. Besides, the scene that just happened was very childish itself. Why Raziel would just attack a pokemon hanging around was something Travis had no love for. Raziel seemed like a nice guy, but Travis could already see that if he always had that short a temper, and that quick a mind to do this, the journey ahead would be very long indeed. Normally Travis would laugh at this thought, but his growing darker mood killed all laughter in Travis right now.

...get the *** out of here,
I just wanna getthe **** away from me
I rage, I glaze, I hurt, I hate
I hate it all, why why why me?
I cannot sleep with a head like this
I wanna cry, I wanna scream
I rage, I glaze, I hurt, I hate
I wanna hate it all away...

He spoke, his voice was not loud, but understandable, and was very dark.
"Stop this...both of you...you want to battle, you will have to wait. This is neither the time or place for a battle. I'm also pretty sure Oak would be very displeased if his very expensive equipment was damaged. Or hell, if you wanna go outside and battle...be my guest. But we've kept Oak waiting long enough, and I am going to hear what he has to say dammit! We are here for a reason. And dammit, we're wasting enough time by this pointless bickering..."

Travis sighed...
The duskull didn't leave his mind, but Oak had been waiting a rather long time himself.

Travis wasn't sure if this Carolyn could really translate the Duskull or not, but what the hell...give her a shot maybe while Oak gave them the news on his findings.
"Carolyn...do your best on whatever you were doing with the duskull." Travis said a bit calmer now. "It can't be wild, or it would be attacking right now...plus I've lived in Pallet for 17 years. They don't live around here."

There was another pause. Only the television was heard where they stood along with the scientists chatter.

"...accusations have also been directed at the pokemon gang known as Team Rocket. Team Rocket has been lying low over the past year and also denies any activity in the awaking of the three rampaging pokemon. The death toll from Slateport's tsunami has risen to over 200 people..."

Travis breathed deep.
"Professor, you were saying?"

OOC: Err, yeah sorry to take it from Oak. I figure if we can just get Luce there, conscious or not, then the plot can move on <_< '

Yoma jumped as one of the Humans began speaking to him. A strange purple flying Pokemon that was not a Zubat was next to her, watching curiously. The Duskull suddenly became very conscious that they had all noticed him. A Human who towered over the others asked Not-A-Zubat's owner a question, and what he recognised as a Squirtle approached him. He was quickly joined by Not-A-Zubat.

"Gligar, gli gligar?" Not-A-Zubat said. It was introducing itself as a Gligar; Yoma had never seen one before but the scent was familiar. Had he smelt a Gligar before? It was unnecessary – He needed help. Luce needed help. These two Pokemon seemed trustworthy (he wasn't too sure about the girl who had spoken to him), so he began to explain.

However, before he had even started, a flash of light indicated the appearance of another Pokemon. A large black creature whose very presence screamed "hostile". Another Human was talking, ordering it to attack!

"Fire."

Yoma began panicking, what should he do? What should he do!? If Luce was here, he'd know what to do. Pokemon and Trainer – together they had the battle instinct. But alone, he was weaker. The dark mass of shadows hurled itself at him, a small and weak Pokemon afraid for its life. He hid his single red eye and braced for impact.
Before he was struck however, the Gligar had leapt in the way, stopping the attack with a powerful one of its own. Yoma quickly floated over to his saviour, worried for the strange, kind Pokemon.

"Dus-Dus-Skull!?" he inquired on the Pokemon's health. The Gligar's Master exploded at the assailant, yet was soon silenced by a growl from the large Human, who owned the Squirtle that had returned to his side. Yoma sensed the conversation turning towards an old Human who exuded a sort of wisdom. He was someone who would help.
Yoma rose to head height and flew in between the group, painfully aware of his proximity to the black creature, and began his best to explain, swooping nervously in circles as he did so.

Ko looked towards the town as he finally finished positioning Luce on the make-shift stretcher. He had hoped that Yoma would be back by now with somewhere to take her too. But they were running out of time. Luce was shaking violently, her breathing quick and shallow. Hoping to meet Yoma and help along the way, he gripped the sheet of iron in his teeth and made for the houses, Tyl still trying to keep Luce warm.

Fenton had remained uncharacteristically silent throughout the entire sequence of events that occurred post-ramming her fist into the computer, nursing the wound- which was twinging with more pain than she had realised, the skin becoming red and swollen, throbbing dully. However, Fenton was able to extend her fingers and ball them up once more sans difficulty, therefore she knew that it wasn't broken (ten years playing in trees with two older brothers were enough to endow her with a fairly decent amount of knowledge concerning injuries). She completely dismissed the girl who had entered the room and moved into the centre of the group, not realising she was there. If she had been aware of the new trainer, then Fenton would have rolled her eyes at the prospect of there being yet another 'pro' in the group; but she hadn't. Indeed, nothing roused her from her state- not until the Pokemon appeared and some idiot started to attack it. Her brown eyes lost their glazed appearance, disappearing behind her eyelids momentarily as she blinked.

The girl suppressed the urge to burst out laughing, as she saw who it was attacking the little Pokemon. If only she was old enough to gamble, and had been alert to wager on the odds of it being Mr. Dictator commanding a large, ebony dual type to dispose of the 'intruder'. However, Carolyn- who Fenton had decided to dub 'Little Miss Doolittle' on her account of being able to converse with Pokemon- cast her own Pokeball to reveal a Gligar, who soon aided the targeted Duskull. Hitting her forehead with her palm at the discord taking place (hey, at least Aipom and Kirlia weren't at the root of the trouble this time), she rejoined the group, deciding not to reprimand Raizel- LMD was already doing it for her. Her brown gaze settled over Zora- this was the first time that Fenton accounted her, and frowned as she tried to concoct a nickname for the trainer.

Eh, I'll see what she's like first, she mused silently, folding her arms across her chest and releasing a sigh. Travis suddenly spoke up above the rest of the hubbub.

Oh, crap... Fenton winced, now praying that none of the surveillance cameras or indeed, surveilling scientists had incriminating evidence of her hitting the computer.

"Guys, just shut the Hell up, and listen to Oak, before I beat you all senseless." Fenton smiled brightly, bottling away her concerns for an angry Oak getting on her case and capping them with a nice little threat. "Seriously, the more time you idiots waste, the more people and whatever will suffer from the disasters. And seeing as you didn't hear me the first time," she glanced to Travis, still speaking loudly and clearly. "My name is Fenton Sinclair. I'm nothing special, but hey. Irritate me, and yeah. It's a good idea not to irritate me," she sighed, massaging her temple with her uninjured hand. "Now let's all be good little boys, girls and Pokemon, and listen to the Prof. Then we can get outta here... It's so stuffy..."

OOC: Shen don't worry about your story, I find it interesting, but do whatever you want to get your character over here lol, remember it's night right now and the group will not leave until the morning probably.

IC:
Travis breathed...it felt good to breath...he felt the very minor dark mood slowly die.

The female trainer who had punched the computer off to the side began to speak:
"Guys, just shut the Hell up, and listen to Oak, before I beat you all senseless. Seriously, the more time you idiots waste, the more people and whatever will suffer from the disasters. And seeing as you didn't hear me the first time," she said, giving Travis a glance, "My name is Fenton Sinclair. I'm nothing special, but hey. Irritate me, and yeah. It's a good idea not to irritate me. Now let's all be good little boys, girls and Pokemon, and listen to the Prof. Then we can get outta here... It's so stuffy..." She said the last part massaging her temple with her other hand.

"Great, more punks who look to violence to get answers...this will be fun." Travis thought feeling a smile inside him again...it felt good...

Oak called over an aide. The aide held a laptop. He took the laptop and then said something that almost made Travis crack up with laughter.
"Will you please go replace that computer over there?" he said pointing to the computer that Fenton had punched a little bit ago.

He then put the laptop on a nearby table, and hooked a proojector to it, and then shined it on the wall.
"This is the data we've just discovered. This confirms that the awakening is indeed, unnatural. Something or someone has awakened the three pokemon from their sleep, and may be controlling them." Oak said.
Travis did not believe the last part. He recalled the look in the Groundon's eyes on the Television from tonight. It looked like it was going insane. Travis had never seen such insanity like that before.
"Who did this or why they did this, is not in our reach to find. I guess the news is blaming Team Aqua and Magma."
Travis spoke up. "You can add Team Rocket to the list now in suspects. They are also getting accused, also in denial."
"Well, whoever it is, must be stopped, and the pokemon must return to their habitats and sleep...or man will see it's end."
This silenced the group.
"How long do we have?" Travis asked.
"We don't know. It could happen anytime, which is why you must act fast and always keep your mind on the mission. Failure cannot be acceptable."
Lance appeared behind Oak.
"My my, this looks good. I assume you are all here because of the special group? If so, we do sincerely thank you. You must leave in the morning and act fast. This mission will be very dangerous, unlike anything you've ever encountered, and it would not surprise me if some of you stepped out right now. Are you all still willing to do this?"
There was silence, and Travis stepped forward nodding. "I'm in. Period."

Fenton Sinclair... Zora thought about the name for a second, then shook her head. I knew an Emil Sinclair (Fia's Note: "Demian" reference) at a party I attended once, and I don't think the two are related.... Emil had that kind of Germanic accent to him, you know? Zora looked at the girl. She seemed to be more of a wild child rather than the lady she should be. Then again, Zora herself was a party girl even though she came from a wealthy family (Fia's Note: Kinda like P. Hilton XD) and was supposedly a lady growing up. But she seemed to have a good reason to act as she did, so Zora decided not to bother her.

"My, are we all violent here...." Zora muttered. Hopefully no one heard that.... She then went on to notice one of the Professor's aides plug a laptop into a projector. After the projector began working, there was mention on how something - or rather, someone - had awakened the three "Weather Pokemon" (Zora had heard them been called that once). The aide then went on to say the propaganda blamed Team Magma and Aqua. To be quite honest, Zora always was a supporter of Team Magma. She never really liked the sea; it reminded her too much of a traumatic event that occured in her family's pool ages ago. She did like the glistening water her hometown, Phenac City had, however, perhaps because of its serene feel? She heard the one boy, Travis, say that Team Magma was accused. Zora began to shake her head. But she listened to the aide go on about man's time coming to an end. Travis questioned this with something about how much time everyone had before this disaster occured. Apparently, it was unknown. Finally, Lance, the Dragon Master and brother to Clair of Johto appeared, and asked everyone if they were willing to do this.

"Before I say whether I'm in or not.... If Team Rocket's behind this.... Maybe Team Cipher, too could have something to do with this...." Zora seemed to notice no one had a clue what she was talking about, or maybe it was something else. "Team Cipher was a really evil organization in Orre," she continued, "and they turned Pokemon - including legendaries (like Lugia, the three legendary beasts and the three legendary birds) - into Shadow Pokemon. Shadow Pokemon were Pokemon with their hearts closed. However, at some point one man named Wes - with the help of a girl who could see Shadow Pokemon, Yui - defeated Team Cipher. About ten years later, though, they returned, the Shadow Pokemon project starting back up. This time, someone much younger, someone named Michael, stopped them and managed to purify their seemingly unpurifiable Pokemon, Shadow Lugia." She paused, to see what the reactions of everyone was. "They disappeared again. Who knows if they returned? After all, what better way to start back up a project for making unpurifiable Shadow Pokemon than to gain control of the three 'Weather Pokemon'?

"To conclude, we don't really know who could be behind this. Team Rocket, Team Magma, Team Aqua.... Don't leave Team Cipher, or even Team Galaxy (Fia's Note: I'm using their Japanese name) - and perhaps Team Snagem (which is another group in Orre, but not as deadly as Team Cipher, mind you all) - out of this. It didn't even have to be a 'who', it could be a 'what'. Who's to say there isn't another Pokemon - one corrupted, perhaps - that's causing them to act this way. Or maybe they're frustrated with us for some strange reason and decided to do this." Finishing her statement, Zora sighed. "But, I'm in. Whatever it takes...." She looked around, hoping the others would chime in and help as well. Despite her carefree nature, still being very studious, Zora knew a lot about the Pokemon world, though not everything. And, if a crisis like this was that bad, then everyone had to help, or risk being killed....

The following is the current broadcast of Kanto News from Channel 59.

From Celadon City, this is Kanto News 59 at 9:00
With Robert Gonzalez, and Trisha Howards.

"Thank you for joining us tonight, I'm Robert Gonzalez..."
"And I'm Trisha Howards, here are tonights top stories. The sudden cause of natural disasters are confirmed to be caused by the awakening of the three pokemon, Groundon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. Pallet Town will be up all night researching explanations as to why this is happening. Trainers have been throwing accusations at Team Magma, Aqua, and Rocket. Trainers from Orre are also throwing accusations at teams known as Team Cipher, and Team Snagem. We have recieved confirmed reports that all accusations have been denied and some teams are also in fueds with each other over the sudden awaking. No official reports have been released with any proff that any team here is to blame.

"The sudden phenominon of natural disasters has left every region in a complete state of anarchy and panic. We'll get more details through th enight, but in Kanto, things are bad enough. Saffron City is now officially shut down. None can enter the city or even exit it. Riots have caused the city to be siezed by Marshal law. The Saffron City gym has been heavily damaged, and the Silph Co. building is currently under lockdown. Other damages in Saffron include the arson of the pokemon center there, and hundreds of houses either heavily damaged or destroyed."

"Vermillion City's sea transport has been indefinetaly shut down sue to the large panic from earlier. Five ferry collisions resulted in a large mass of commercial boats transporting people out of Kanto. Vermillion is currently still in a desperate state, no major riots however like those of Saffron have been reported."

"Cinnibar Island is still cleaning up after an 8.9 earthquake that rocked the island, so far 24 have died, hundreds more are injured, and the city has been destroyed. The volcano is under close watch but does not look like it will erupt in the near future."

"Some people are now turning to faith for deliverance. People have gathered in large masses and have publically kneeled and have prayed for deliverance from what they are calling judgement day. These masses are not violent and are being watched by the law. They however just sit and pray all day."

"The Kanto Elite 4 are selecting a special group of trainers to investigate....excuse me? What? THis just in...uhh, the Indigo Plateau has just recieved an audio tape and it has been released to the public, let's play the tape I guess..."

"Your end is coming very soon, mankind...hear me. No mercy for sinners. No amount of repenting will save you from the wrath of the three titans. Dies Irae has come to you at last, and we will make sure that the next civillization knows no sin. Your days are numbered. Prepare for the purification of the world...amen..."

"Wow...I'm not sure who this is, or what it was, but he sounds very religious and very determined in something...law is looking into the tape, we'll have more details on this later..."

"Dus-dus-skull?" Duskull had spoke and he had explained that his trainer was hurt, or something like that. Carolyn needed to go and fast, but the group members began to speak again.

Carolyn turned her attention to Professor Oak and Lance. "I'm in, totally. There is now way I will sit back and relax while the legendaries are fighting!" Then she herd something else, "Your end is coming very soon mankind...hear me. No mercy for sinners. No amount of repenting will save you from the wrath of these three titans. Dies Irae has come to you at last, and we will make sure the next civilization knows no sin. Your days are numbered, prepare for the purification of the world...amen..." Now Carolyn had a pretty good theory of who caused this. "Being a girl from Sinnoh, I am familiar with a team known as Team Galactic. Their goal is to create a new world, free of useless human emotions, as they say. Seems to me that this recording said just that. I certainly wouldn't put it past team Galactic to have the technology and skill needed to awaken the three..."

There was no time left, she had to go. "Now consider that while I run out the door. The duskull said that his trainer was hurt and I need to help her. Come on fang, and duskull, lead the way." Sprinting, Carolyn followed duskull out the door.
