Latley, I've been thinking of the differences between the Pokemon Anime and the games. Some abilities you have in the Anime can never be copied into games. Dodging is an example. In the Anime, the Pokemon may dodge a move depending on It's physical status. However, in the game, dodging Isn't available.

I think that the Pokemon Anime tends to focus more on the Pokemon physical movement and activness, rather than levels. An example in Ash's Turtwig. It is a very fast Pokemon, for a Turtwig and It has really good abilities. However, given the time Ash spent raising the Pokemon and the fact that it only just recently evolved, this means that 2-3 months in the Anime time is 18 levels, which is how much is needed for Pokemon to evolve.

Personally, differences like the ones above make me think that the Pokemon Anime will always be more realistic the the games, no matter how many new changes are added.

Yeah I agree. That's the one thing that makes the anime more unique. The games have a limited battle system. Like rules which can't be broken whatsoever (unless you hack them XD). The show follows a more realistic approach than the games. Like you don't have to wait turns to use a move and you can combine different moves.

The game is really boring... But the anime is great. I think there should be like Team Rocket floating around. XD

Well, that's what happens when a show is based on a game. In most, if not all games, many unrealistic events and features are added. One feature for example is the addition of a health bar. In animation, you can "will" yourself to go on. This part of course is related to Pokémon.

Plus, the anime doesn't involve things such as PP into it like the game does. They strictly use their moves over and over again if they want to, unless the pokémon is too weak to use it again.

For the game it involves PP and depicts on how many times you can use it with the given amount; such as Fire Blast only 5/5 While in the show a pokemon can use it 3 times that amount if it was able to.

Well obviously, since the show isn't an rpg or a video game.

Well, the show could've had HP bars and PP from the start if they wanted. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in Bakugan the creatures live and talk but in battles they have HP and attack points? I could be wrong since I have no idea what's supposed happening in those battles. However, it probably would've limited what they could've done with the whole will power thing as already been said, and encouragement and friendship which is what Ash sees as important in Pokemon training. (this is probably how they make it more "acceptable" for animals for animals to be battling each other all the time, too, heh.)

The Bakugan come from cards. Their sphere forms can't battle unless they are sent in with Gate Cards already out in normal battles. In Verstroia, when they're looking for Naga I believe, the Bakugan don't have health bars either.
