Hello guys, this is my first post, so let me first introduce myself.
I am Marko, I am from Rijeka (Croatia) and I'm an engineering student. :)

    Question:
How do I tell if a move is spcl. or normal based?

I know fire, ice and water and so on..are special, but how do I know for Hyper beam or razor leaf, you know?

    Thanks! :)

any type that eevee evolves into +dragon are special. normal and everything else are physical. :)

yeah, but I'm asking about moves specifically, for example fire punch is fire, but it's physical, so idk if it's special or normal move? I mean does normal attack increase it, by giving bonus only to stat advantages or is it affected by special :D

As it relates to the first 3 generations (all games prior to the DS), the physical and special split is determined by type. The move types that use the Special Attack stat are Fire, Grass, Water, Electric, Ice, Psychic, Dark and Dragon. Which leaves Normal, Fighting, Bug, Poison, Ghost, Ground, Rock and Steel as physical.

As EeveeandMew suggested, an easy way to remember it is that every type which Eevee evolves into is a special type + dragon. The rest are physical. So for the first 3 generations the elemental punches are actually special attacks while Hyper Beam is in fact physical.
