Summary:
Basically when you're using the new UI with the dark accent turned on, text in spoiler tags and on polls (and in some CSS) is difficult, if not outright impossible to read:
Probably just has to do with the fact that the dark accent's default text color is white and so obviously isn't going to be visible on a white background.

Looked at it on both my desktop (Chrome+Windows XP), and my phone (iPhone SE+Safari), same issue on both.
