    Is there an essentials script for deciding the difficulty level during the intro, thus changing trainers' levels, movesets, ev spreads etc. ? sort of like the keys in bw2, but at the start of the game. any help is appreciated, thanks.
     
    Hi, MugsyAU! I added a difficulty script made by FL into my fangame.

    FL wrote this script: https://www.pokecommunity.com/threads/300975

    1) In this script, go to line 35 where it says VARIABLE = 90. Choose any unused variable that you'd like. Mine is 29

    2) In your intro, wherever you'd like to decide difficulty choices, add "Show Choices."

    3) Name each choice after a difficulty mode. For example: Easy, Medium, Difficult. For "when cancel," pick Disallow.

    4) Leave "When [Medium]" Blank

    5) Under "When [Easy]" set the variable you selected in step 1 to equal 1

    6) Under "When [Difficult]" set the variable you selected in step 1 to equal 2
