Saw episode one and liked it, a lot better than the previous seasons. Quinton Flynn for some reason reminds me of Michael Reisz and Vic Mignogna. Colleen's voice showed her "Sora" a little too much at times, but overall, I really like it. Lalamon's voice was a bit annoying, it seemed way too forced and couldn't get the natural high tone off. I loved Agumon's voice, and just like in the Japanese version, had no problems with a new actor being brought it. They're two different Agumon and thus should have different voices, especially due to the way they act. Satsuma, er, Sampson's voice didn't really bother me, it seems like the original in the "commander" like voice. The rest of the cast was fairly forgettable, but we haven't had many of them introduced, I can't wait to hear what Marcus' mom and sister sound like.
I've never really liked Jeff Nimoy myself, he's the one that added in so many unnecessary jokes into the first four seasons that just seemed "off". Casts have always been great, but the editing usually blew, though it's been getting better since Tamers. Makes me wonder what kind of DVD releases this series will have.
As a whole, this episode was pretty good, I only noticed one real edit ("the kick") and it showed a good amount of violence for something on Toon Disney, makes me wonder what the later parts of the series will be like.
I don't think either of Takuya's VAs are going to be in the series, at least not yet, or as any of the four main characters. And Crispin Freeman, Kouichi's VA from Frontier is going to do the voice of Thomas, which sounds like a pretty good fit.
