Digimon Savers

Masaru is in Junior High, Tohma is out of college and I've got no idea about Yoshino. I'd assume she's out of high school since she's 18.
 
Digimon Savers isn't made by the same people as before.. isn't it? oh well, s'long as the masaru and group don't start turning into Digimon then...
Savers looks good so far. although the red thingy on agumon looks like a belt..?

Savers and all seasons are more or less made by the same people.
 
Masaru's hairstyle looks like a girl's...

But I know many people who act like him, so I kinda like him as well.

And I like Raramon/Lalamon too. I have a thing for Plants. ^^

Yoshino is 18 years old and works for DATS; you'd assume she's finished her schooling. Masaru is 14 years old and in the second year of junior high. Tohma is 14 years old and graduated from university at the age of 12; he's a genius.

I still prefer the romanisation "Tohma" to "Touma".
 
Ah, maybe so. I don't understand Japanese and haven't seen the sub of the 3rd episode yet; what info I have comes from the initial magazine scans ^_^
 
Tohma seems a bit stuck up, but it's no more than Masaru. They'll end up being best friends before the series is over.
 
Of course, because that is the way Manly Men do it, and Tohma is a Manly Man even if Masaru is a Girly Man.

... actually, that's really a series cliché, isn't it? *sigh* Be nice if they went through the whole thing as bitter rivals and enemies, working together only to save the world.

I noticed that when the pics were first released, and was irked by it. ._.
 
It's because a different animation team is being used for the series. No one that worked on any of the past seasons is working on this season at all.
 
I like the animation for this season better than that of Tamers, and possibly Adventure, but Adventure 02 and Frontier had a nicer style IMO.
 
I never really saw Frontier, so I really can't compare, but Savers seems fun enough.
It's nice how it seems to be aimed at an older age group, I don't feel as silly watching it and enjoying it.

Masaru is okay, though his obsession with fighting is a bit annoying. He also needs a new hairstyle...
I think that his mood'll cool down a bit after he starts working for DATS. I haven't seen past episode 2 yet, so I guess I'm going out on a limb saying this. ^^;;

Tohma looks pretty cool. I'm looking forward to seeing him in ep 3.
 
Finally...a series with older Chosen Children.... I was begining to wonder why they all had to be so young. x__x

I've only seen previews and images so far, but I've been waiting for this series to finally air for a long time... so I plan to watch it tomorrow when I have time... as of right now...I need sleep.

As for Frontier. Its not my favorite out of the Digimon series... but I also don't dislike it... Back in 2002 I obsessed over it for a good amount of time. (Did the same with the others series as well...^^; )
 
I saw the first two episodes dubbed and then the third in full japanese. I believe that this series has the potential to be really great. Definetly better than frontier. Anyway I like Masaru and it's true, he'll will probably mature throughout the series.
 
I watched the first two episodes, and I haven't watched any after that yet....
but the first two were really good. I dont like it as much as the other series, well... so far I dont anyhoo, but it was still cool to watch.
