    The goggles are back!

    Essentially once known as Digimon Around, and now simply Shin Digimon, which is a title that will likely change, the new series will start this summer. Looks like it'll take a different approach to the standard series by only starting out with a single human who has a few different partners that all merge into a single Digimon.
     
    Merge into a single Digimon... Why the hell am I thinking Power Rangers?

    Ah well, I've yet to watch all of Savers - But this one looks interesting :3
     
    It looks alright, although I hate the look of the beetle and the wolf looks very identical to Tiger from MonsterRancher

    EDIT:
    I say this as a fan of the series since the beggening, but its gone downhill since the end of Tamers IMO

    Anyways, I don't know how I feel about the single character approach. Of course, they could have just not conceived other characters yet so they're only showcasing one for now, but I feel the cast should definitely consist of more than one human / Digidestined for me to even bother giving it a glance.

    I'm not to sure what I think about this yet...but what the heck, it's Digimon, they can't do it wrong *inb4FrontierorSavers*. I'll only be watching the subs, though. Disney failed with Frontier and slaughtered Savers-I mean, Data Squad.

    Edit: My bad, Studiopolis, not Disney.

    Disney had nothing to do with the dubbing of Savers, that was all Toei.
     
    Going by the poster in the first post, that protagonist looks a lot like Tai from season 1. Anyways, interesting to see. Digimon's sorta fallen off my radar since season 3. I should probably go watch the other seasons.

    I think the protag looks like Davis/Daisuke from Season 2. You should watch Season 5 aka Digimon Savers. Skip Season 4 or just watch it after 5.

    And for the last time people....DISNEY DID NOT DUB DIGIMON SAVERS/DATA SQAUD. TOEI DID IT. DISNEY JUST HAD BROADCASTING RIGHTS!!!
     
    First off: I edited my post for a reason. Yes, I originally thought Disney dubbed it. Then I did a bit of research and found that it was, in fact, Studiopolis.

    Second: Toei does not dub anime. They produce them, yes. But they are not involved in the dubbing process at all.

    Now then, let's get back on topic, shall we?

    I wasn't referring to you. Just anybody that thinks Disney actually had something to due with Savers. Yeah your right it was Studiopolis, my fault. They were Sensation Animation or something like that when they had Frontier.

    I know I'm not the only one who's mad that they don't see Coronamon there. That's my favorite Digimon! They better have an Olympus Twelve plot then. Atleast I'll see Apollomon them. lol
