Plot:

Past - 2008​

With the Digimon franchise falling slightly off the map in the internet media world, a press conference was held in Rockefeller Center in New York. Digimon Inc. was about to make a huge announcement that would shake the computer gaming industry. President of Marketing, Bill D. Bridges, announced the reboot of Digimon, introducing the game titled "Digimon Tamer X". In a nutshell, Digimon Tamer X was a virtual reality world that made it possible for the player to interact with the game, having a single partner Digimon for him or herself and participating in endeavors in a virtual Digital World. The demonstration was shown at the same convention and critics perceived the game in a positive light. With that being said, the popularity of Digimon increased as it did back at the turn of millennium. Parents and capable young people bought many of the pre-Tamer X games off the shelves quickly.

2009​

Bill D. Bridges announced that Digimon Tamer X would be released to the United States of America first on January 1st, 2010, exactly at 12:00:00. Americans across the country rejoiced as they would receive a Japanese-based game before Japan, seeing as how Tamer X was an American-made product. On December 31st, 2009, Bill D. Bridges was in his office, about to attend a release party, when he noticed his laptop screen began to glow in seven different Crest colors, showing different planetary symbols. With the thought of something bad in his head, Bill D. Bridges alerted the officials at Digimon Inc., postponing the release of Digimon Tamer X, as well as having recalls on all Digimon video-game based related products and media. With the seemingly cancellation of all Digimon media, children were forced to convert back to an old-fashioned way of playing Digimon: the trading card game.

Present - 2010​

With the trading card game becoming more popular due to the recall, Digimon product awareness was growing more and more each day. It seemed that the "imperfection" of the company made consumers want it more and more, especially since the release had been postponed. Fan's waited patiently for another announcement, but they would not get one. Not anytime soon anyway. Nonetheless, people across the country began collecting cards and doing battle against their friends in friendly competition as well as prized competition tournaments.

It was a peaceful Autumn day in a park outside of the city limits. Two young boys sat a picnic bench, cards scattered across the table. These weren't just any old cards. No. These were treasured Digimon cards that were there rarest. The two youths were trading with one another, trying to add to their collection and prevent from having doubles in their decks. They each wanted one of a kind. It appeared a trade was finalized as both boys shook hands and proceeded to do a battle as they situated the cards in a dueling formation. The first boy played a Tyrannomon while the other a Greymon. It appeared that the Greymon card won as the other boy shook his head and grabbed his hair, cursing himsefl for the dumb play.

From the sidelines under a tree stood a young man, looking around the age of 16 or 17. He was dressed in a light blue long-sleeve shirt, a much darker blue vest with the collar flipped, faded dark gray jeans, and white and blue tennis shoes with the tongue of the shoe tucking in his jeans. A golden scarf was draped around his neck stylishly as he watched the younger lads playing their card game. "Hmm." He said silently as jammed his fist into his pocket, "A mere card game. Not a care in the world."

A smile reached his mouth. He admired the youth. They were innocent, unknowing of what lay ahead, and most of all happy. "I love coming here. So many beautiful things occur." A few brown leaves fell from the trees and landed at his feet, "I just... I just wish that what was to come could just wait... But it cannot be helped. Evil never waits." He sighed turning his back on the game as he took out a D-Arc from his pocket, "I'll have to keep searching... the Tamers are not here... those boys are just... they don't fit the mold. I need attitudinal people to help me fight the evil that lies ahead........"

Calumon - A small, white Digimon known as the Catalyst to all Digimon native of the Digital World. Calumon is a very playful and emotional Digimon who tends to get into trouble even though he does not realize he causes trouble. Despite this, Calumon is essential to all Digmon because he has the power to trigger certain digivolutions which would otherwise be impossible without the Matrix Energy from within Calumon's Zero Unit (the symbol on his forehead, which is the opposite of a Digi-Hazard).

The Royal Knights - The organization from which Hiro's Veemon originates from. The Royal Knights were a legion of Knight Digimon (Originally 13, then went down to 7, and now 0) who enforced the law in the Digital World, arresting and terminating any Digimon who stood in the way of justice. However, the Royal Knights recently, one by one, were sent to their doom by a member of the Seven Great Demon Lords, mysteriously. No one knows if there will ever be a revival of the Royal Knights, but the Digital World and, unknowingly, the Real World are counting on the reemergence of the Royal Knights.

Bill D. Bridges - President of Marketing Operations of Digimon Inc., Bill is a very idealistic and imaginative young man and is responsible for the creation of Digmon Tamer X. It would appear that Bill is a normal person who lives a life in the graphic media world, but there is more to Bill D. Bridges than meets the eye. Alas, no one as seen Bill D. Bridges since the shut down of all Digimon computer-related products.

IANA (Led by Ivan Bedford) - IANA stands for "Internet Assigned Numbers Authority". Literally, this means that IANA is responsible for monitoring internet activities throughout the country (and secretly the world). With the emergence of Digimon appearing on monitors at IANA, Ivan Bedford became curious with the energy that comes from within these data bits. Like Bill D. Bridges, Ivan too has a mysterious past.e

The Seven Great Demon Lords: (Click to view)

The Seven Great Demon Lords are a group of Demon Lord Digimon who represent one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Their intentions are conquering and destroying the Digital and Real World. The Headquarters for the Seven Great Demon Lords is known as The Gate of Deadly Sins.

Lucemon Chaos Mode (Shadowlord Mode and Larva) - Known simply as Lucemon, he is the leader of the Seven Great Demon Lords and represents the sin of Pride. Once a pure Digimon who represented the good in the world, Lucemon was corrupted by the utter chaos surrounding him and has learned to hate everything despite loving everything. This hatred has manipulated Lucemon's mind into wanting to destroy all worlds and create a new utopia for him and his fellow Demon Lords.

Belphemon Rage Mode (Sleep Mode) - Having not been awakened since some time in 1010 or 1011 A.D., Belphemon (currently in Sleep Mode) is almost near to waking up and wreaking havoc in the world once again, serving as Lucemon's right hand-mon. Due to this sleep, Belphemon is realized as representing the sin of Sloth. Nonetheless, Belphemon is by far one of the strongest Digimon alive when he awakens and not easy to slow down once he begins his rage.

Leviamon - Although Leviamon is an underling of Lucemon, he is very jealous of the leader's position of power and secretly wishes to be the leader of the Seven Great Demon Lords. Which is why Leviamon represents the sin of Envy. Nonetheless, Leviamon is quite a powerful Digimon who does not let his prey escape easily.

Daemon - Anger and revenge is the gas that fuel's Daemon's fire, the representation of the sin of Wrath. Revenge is always on Daemon's mind, as it is a fallen Seraphimon who transformed into the form which he is in currently. He always speaks of rebellion on the current worlds and won't stop until Lucemon's dream of a new world is fulfilled.

Barbamon - Barbamon is the most intelligent of the Seven Great Demon Lords and is also the most Greedy of them, a sin. He has the knowledge to trick any being into giving up their loot. He will also brutally murder any being who stands in his way to getting the least valuable of treasures. Treasure is treasure in Barbamon's eyes.

Lilithmon - With the Lustful appearance to attract any Digimon, Lilithmon is a very conniving and manipulative Digimon. A fallen Ophanimon, Lilithmon is Lucemon's means of sexual eye candy and is also the wife of the leader of the Seven Great Demon Lords. However, Lilithmon is free to make anyone fall for her, as long as she annihilates them afterwards.

Ogudomon - A seven legged creature who encompasses all of the Seven Deadly Sins. Defeating this creature is damn near impossible with even the slightest bit of malice in ones heart.

Gear:

D-Arc -This Digivice can be used with a card from the Digimon card game to execute Digi-Modify to give the Tamer's Digimon extra attacks or effects. Though originally the Tamers' Digimon will need to be exposed to Calumon's power in order for the D-Arc to Digivolve them to the Champion Level a Digivolution Card will aid this function. To achieve Ultimate level, Tamers need to use a Blue Card for Matrix Digivolution, and the D-Arc is also used to achieve Biomerge Digivolution which allows the Tamer to fuse with the partner Digimon to digivolve to the Mega level. The D-Arc can analyze nearly every Digimon that the Tamer's Digimon sees Digimon, has a Compass/Radar function which can detect when an aggressive Digimon is nearby, and can display what the Tamer's Digimon is seeing. The D-Arc can also heal the Tamer's Digimon. If needed, the D-Arc digivice contains a data port on the top that can be accessed by opening a hatch by pressing the up button.

1) This roleplay is not first come, first serve. I will select the person who I think fits the role, based on their previous roleplaying experience, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, activeness. If you are online only once every week, you most likely will not get picked. Bottom line.

Name: Hiro Kenta Kazuma

Age: 16

Appearance:

Standing at about five foot ten inches and weight around one-hundred and forty pounds, Hiro is a considerably athletic and agile being who looks as though he has the capability of weathering any storm. Likewise, he's been through a lot, but that will be explained in his history. Hiro, a Japanese-Amaerican, has spiky brown hair that protrudes outward, an evenly tan coat of skin, royal blue eyes, and a set of bright, pearly whites. His body is very tight and he is slightly muscular from his quests in the Digital World. Perhaps Hiro's best feature is the symmetry of his face, which gives him a very appealing appearance.

For attire, Hiro has two different styles for the two different worlds. While in the Digital World (where he has been for the past few years), Hiro's attire is very fantasy-based. For his upper body, Hiro sports a short-sleeved royal blue hoodie with sky blue linings across the zipper and sleeve portion. Underneath is a much darker blue shirt with a white collar and a golden triangle at the base of the piece of clothing. Draped over his left shoulder is a paladin shoulder pad which connects down to his forearm, forming a paladin forearm glove. His lower body consists of dark gray pants with a paladin belt and knee pads and on his feet are silver and royal blue boots.

In the Real World, Hiro looks like any regular human. He traditionally wears the color Royal Blue which is his designation as a Tamer of a Royal Knight Digimon. He wears a plaid royal blue long sleeved shirt with a leather jacket seen when its cold, faded blue fitted jeans, and white and blue tennis shoes with the pant legs tucked into the sneakers. At all times, a chain is wrapped around his neck with a golden "V" crest at the end of it.

Personality: When the Royal Knights still were in existence, Hiro learned to rely on the leadership of them as well as the Tamers seeing as how they were much older and more experienced them. All of his life, Hiro was dependent on someone or somebody else and for a while it worked. But with the deletion and murder of the Tamers and Royal Knights, Hiro was forced to take initiative and be his own person. Now, he is more self-reliant and despises having the help of others. Hiro is a very honorable person who sometimes can come off as blunt or rude, but as the betterment of society in the back of his mind and at the center of his heart.

Partner Digimon and Description:

Veemon -Unlike his Tamer, Veemon is a wisecracking and intelligent Digimon who always looks for a good time in every situation. Although he is a dry and apparent comedian most of the time, Veemon is also capable of being very serious, especially in the field of combat. Having years of experience under his belt, Veemon could potentially be the strongest Digimon in the Digital World if trained properly. His Mega Level is the only remaining Royal Knight left, but as of now, Veemon has only been used to fighting in his In-Training and Rookie form. Hiro has always stated that he wanted to train Veemon to his utmost potentiality before he would Digivolve. Nonetheless, Veemon is growing weary and desires to Digivolve... soon.

History:

Hiro doesn't know his parents or if they even care he exists. All that Hiro knows is Sister Nunez at the Springland Orphanage in New York. Always teased as the quiet boy who never wanted to play kickball, Hiro immediately took a liking to arts and crafts and decided to focus on that as he developed into his tween years. Soon, Hiro was a fine drawer and carried a sketch pad with him everywhere he traveled... inside of the orphanage that is. He wasn't allowed to leave because he was seen as a troubled youth, rarely talking. Eventually, Hiro made a friend in a mentor named Bill D. Bridges, the then Marketing Advisor at Tamagotchi. Bridges was interested, while visiting the orphan, in each of the orphans because he admired their artistic outlook. He asked each of them to draw their best monster. Hiro, entertained by this, decided to draw a slim, sleek blue monster that resembled a dragon. It had yellow markings under its cheeks and on his forehead and bright red eyes. Bridges looked at the monster, smiling, and asked for the name of the monster. Hiro simply called the monster "Victory" or Vee for short.

Years past and Hiro grew older. The older the orphan, the less likely he or she would be adopted. Hiro understood this and merely counted the days for when he would be released out onto the streets, out of the orphanage's and Sister Nunez's hands. One day, Sister Nunez came into Hiro's room with a vast box of cards for Hiro. She said that they were from Bill D. Bridges, who was now President of Marketing at Digimon, an off brand of Tamagotchi. Hiro had become very familiar with the show at this age, having watched the first season and currently in view of the second season. Hiro learned the card game and even noticed that the monster he created "Vee" was being portrayed in the anime as Veemon. A simple tribute to Hiro made the boy feel warm inside. As time progressed, Hiro became a master at the card game, beating many of his fellow orphans as well as a few of the kids in the neighborhood in friendly tournaments. Hiro's name was well known around the New York Metropolitan area as the Digimon Boy.

Years passed and Hiro reached the age of thirteen. Entering his developmental stage, Hiro began to understand his surroundings and began to search for a purpose with these cards he had mastered. The combination of Hiro and his sacred Veemon digivolutionary line was a killer to all his opponents. One day, Sister Nunez walked into Hiro's room again, this time with a laptop case, stating it was from his mentor, Bill D. Bridges. Secretly, Hiro wanted Bridges to adopt him. He figured that he might as well if he was going to continue to give him things without being his adoptive father. Nonetheless, Hiro got used to the computer and immediately figured out the configuration of the device. Packaged with the laptop was a card scanning device so that Hiro was able to play the Digimon Trading Card Game on the computer. Likewise, the game booted up and stated "Slash your Partner Digimon and its digivolution line in the correct order". Following procedure, Hiro slashed the following "DemiVeemon -> Veemon -> Veedramon -> AeroVeedramon -> UlforceVeedramon". The screen began to glow in a white light and absorbed Hiro into the screen.

Some time after the teleportation to the Digital World, Hiro met up with his longtime creation, Veemon. The two became acquainted and Hiro soon learned that Veemon was soon to be a Royal Knight being the son of Magnamon, a crucial member to the society. The two were put under rigorous training the minute after Hiro received his D-Arc. He was not overwhelmed by this sudden transfer of power and he embraced the idea of being a real life Tamer. It was Hiro's strong will and adaptivity that allowed him to become a respectable Tamer. He was sent on countless quests throughout the Digital World to recover items, save Digimon, and solve puzzles. He did this for about two and a half years until that dreadful day.

Hiro and Veemon returned to the Royal Knights Tamer Union, only to discover the tower had been terrorized and attacked. Running inside of the castle, Hiro and Veemon noticed that several crests were left scattered across the room, covering the bits of data that remained from the Royal Knight Digimon's massacre. The crests had planetary symbols on then, and looked horrifying. Hiro, for the first time in his life, panicked and desired a way to get out of this world. However, Veemon shook him out of his state of mind, saying that they should train some more and find new Tamers to help them stop whatever came upon the Royal Knights.

In present day, Hiro has returned to the Real World and willingly abandoned the orphanage, making his own haven in scattered locations across the five boroughs of New York. Internally, he's in search of new Tamers to help him defeat whatever destroyed the Royal Knights, but at the same time, he desires to defeat them singlehandedly with Veemon.

Name: Mark, Joseph, Oakwood

Age: 15

Appearance:

Mark is exactly 5'8 and weighs 125lbs. Mark has a very unusual eye color, purple. He isn't very athletic but can stand his own in a fight.
He has medium length brown hair with long bangs covering his forehead and some of his eyes and has very well kept up teeth. Mark is all American
but doesn't get much sun so he is pretty pale. Some might say he reflects light. He looks like a normal boy otherwise; he doesn't really have muscles either
but does have very nice skin.

Mark's main cloths are his button's up shirts(has different colors) Tucked into some blue jeans with a black belt. He also carrys a small black pouch at his side which
he keeps his cards in. Mark also keeps certain things in his shirt pocket but no one is really sure what those things are.

Personality: Mark is a laid back kinda guy. With no leadership experience he mostly just listens to what other people say and let other people boss him around, but he also has ontherside(like a split personality will be explained later) His other side is sort of cool and strong. Marks other half of him often comes out in dire situations or sometimes randomly
(more detail of personality coming up)

Normal half: Being a follower doesn't benefit him as he knows he is much more capable then just doing orders, he even voices his opinion where not welcome. His friends say that he should just try harder but with his laid back personality its a hassle to try and take charge.

Other half: This half is way more independent and cool. He will take charge in the most dire situations. He is much stronger and much wiser too. This side of Mark is a much better fighter in battle and will take charge when forced out.

Partner Digimon and Description: Commandramon is pretty much like Mark, laid back with no objections to orders. But he on the other hand is great in a fight and loves to even see one. It gets his adrenaline rushing and makes him just explode with energy, but other than that if theres no fight than he is calm and collected.

History: Mark was born into a rich family, in fact one of the top 10 richest in America. But he was born strange, purple eyes and no crying at birth, he just looked the doctors in the face. His mom and dad treated him as an outcast growing up. Instead of treating him nice they treated him poorly and bought him nothing. He goes along with it tho; its his life style. But when he's all alone he just crys and wishes his mom and dad would love him.

One day tho mark had a vision. He could see another world with another him. He saw his mirror image and just stared....He touched his face and he passed out. Now his parents more than ever worried and scared of him bought him some digimon cards. He was hooked! When he heard of the new digimon X coming out he asked his parents if he could get it. They said no! Mark could not believe it... he was devasted...So mad and angry, his split personality came out.

His parents saw Mark come downstairs looking odd. He picked up his father by his shirt and said"I can't follow you any longer...I'm not your toy or something to be feared. Don't go looking for me you wont find me." Just then he snapped back into normal. His father yelled at him and now he is currently living and going to school at a boarding school but he still feels like something is inside of him and wants to come out. So he plays digimon to get away form those feelings.

Name: Nathaniel Mark Whitfield (Nate)

Age:15

Appearance: Nate is 5'3" and weighs approximately 135lbs. Nate is a skinny guy, he isn't athletic but tries his best to maintain his flat stomach and hardly visible 4 pack. Nate is of African American decent. He has dark brown skin and short curly dark hair, his bangs hangs in front of his forehead and just above his eyebrows, the back his hair is cut short and stops at his neck. He has sun gold eyes that shows hidden determination and courage.

Nate's human outfit consists of blue/black. He wears a long sleeved black/blue flannel shirt with an black t-shirt underneath, he is usually seen wearing navy blue denim jeans, which regularly covers the top part of his shoes except for the tongue. His shoes are black and white, base color being black with white parallel stripes leading to the toes.

In the digital world his clothes changes but he keeps the same blue/black theme. Instead of a blue/black flannel shirt, he now wears a plain blue t-shirt, underneath that is a long sleeve black t-shirt. His bottom wear is now black jeans that hugs his ankles. He additionally gains a black and blue checkered studded belt along with a silver beaded necklace. The foot wear remains virtually the same.

Personality: Nathan is compassionate, stubborn and optimistic. Nathan gets his almost unbearable stubbornness from his father. He never quits at his goals an most likely wont until he accomplish it, on the other hand he waste valuable amounts of time on impossible tasks. His most valuable trait is his compassion, but it does have limitations. He is sadden by those that is stricken by misfortune that didn't deserve it, but feels that those that brought it on themselves get whats coming to them.

Partner Digimon and Description: Dracmon is quick tempered, arrogant , and somewhat reliable. He is never really bother by any kind of conflict, In fact he welcomes it. His ego is a huge liability, he believes he is unbeatable and the strongest digimon around. Leading him into underestimating his opponent and overestimating his own abilities. His temper is the main reason he gets into battles with digimon and human alike, he is cautious about strangers and doesn't trust anybody besides Nate and his family. Although he is obnoxious and irritable he is very loyal an is quick to engage anyone who disrupts is living environment.

History: Nate was born in Bismark North Dakota. His parents Henry and Mary Whitfield are a little older than most first time parents. His mother Mary, Is a 47 year old stay at home mom and his father Henry is a 52 year old auto mechanic. His family is of the middle class in rakes in a decent amount of money. Mary and Henry had attempted many times before Nate and failed. An fact this is where Nathaniel gets his name from, Nathaniel meaning (Gift from God).

Being an only child and the so call gift from god, Nathan had always led a spoiled and sheltered life. His parents showered him with Toys, clothes, and video games just about anything he ever wanted was given no questions asked. Despite all the spoiling Nate actually grew up to be a nice guy. Soon after Nathan started his freshman year of high school his mother became ill. Nathan had taken off and skipped many days of school to take care of her. She didn't approve of it, but both Nate and his Father knew it was for the best.

Two months after his 15th Birthday his mother had accomplished a full recovery and returned to her normal duties at home.Nathan now back on schedule, struggles with studies and must make it up if he hopes of graduating.

Name: Elyssa Karis Renoira (Prefers to be called Karis.)

Age: 17

Appearance:

Generally, Karis wears the above outfit: tight fitting jeans with a plain black belt, and a short, long sleeved black shirt. Over the shirt she wears a black jacket zipped up three quarters of the way. She's already fairly tall at 5'5", but she wears boots that elevate her another inch. In her pocket, Karis keeps a tie for her long honey blonde hair in her pocket so that if she comes to a situation where it gets in the way, she can just tie it back. Naturally, her eyes are bright green.

When she enters the Digital World her hair lightens to a bluish violet color, much like the pelt Gabumon wears. Her eyes lighten as well to an icy grey color.

Personality: Cynical, misanthropic, and sarcastic, Karis does not play well with the other children. She prefers to keep the number of people she associates with small and exclusive, seeing as most people are in her experience lacking in intelligence, manners, and interesting things to say. Those she does get close to are generally males, as she finds that in the teenage years too many girls are concerned with their hair or clothes or latest breakup, and she wants nothing to do with any of these things. She does have a few female companions, though they're few and far between. When she does find someone she cares for she's loyal to a fault. Luckily, however, she rarely cares so much for someone who hasn't proven themselves one way or another.

Despite her cold exterior, Karis is a nurturer. She thrives when she has something or someone to take care of. This could perhaps be the root psychological reason for her love of animals. She's had pets of various species her entire life. A recurring theme among them is that they were shelter animals, or endangered in some other way. Anyone who has never been to her home would be astounded by how many animals she has, and how well cared for and happy they all are. Surprisingly, she does not like kids and never wishes to have them. Karis does not take an emotional approach to things. Logic is her way, and her mind works strategically and analytically.

Partner Digimon and Description: Gabumon will eventually be Karis' partner. Like her, he is somewhat antisocial and prefers to stay in small groups if groups are at all necessary. Unlike her, he adores "children," or Fresh Digimon. If he finds either an egg or a baby, he'll protect them to the best of his ability until they're able to take care of themselves, or a different guardian is found. Loyalty is one of the most important traits in his mind, and he would die to defend the ones he loves.

Despite the fact that he doesn't necessarily enjoy the company of others, he is far less cynical and harsh than Karis is, and he will have the capability to bring out the best qualities in her.

History: In 1957 Karis's grandparents immigrated to the United States and settled in east Texas. They met little success when attempting to start a cattle ranch for beef and milk. Their son, however, offered the idea to sell the cattle and instead buy horses to breed for recreational animals. It was a risky venture but they decided to do so. By the time Raymond Renoira was twenty six he was living in an extra house built off of the original with the money produced from the instant success of the horse business. The endeavor had given Raymond enough confidence to decide to enter the world of race horses. He bought a stallion by the name of Brine and Dandy. He turned out not to be an instant winner, though he did receive a phone call from a young woman named Diana McNiel. She owned a young filly, and wanted to purchase Brine and Dandy's sire services. He agreed to meet with her the following day, and when he did it was instant chemistry. Their horses produced a foal they registered as Dandy Lion, who became a success when he was just two years old. To celebrate his win of the Kentucky Derby Diana and Raymond married, she twenty seven, and he twenty eight. A year later Karis was born. Her parents loved her dearly, and bought her anything she desired, or anything they thought she desired.

She grew up happy and well cared for, as well as naïve. Everyone and everything was Karis's new friend, from butterflies to other children. At age six she began watching the Digimon anime. It was one of the few things she would keep to a schedule on. She would never miss an episode, and from the beginning decided Matt and Gabumon were her favorite characters. Over time her fascination took her into the card game and the video games manufactured for Playstation.

Socially, Karis blossomed and had no trouble making and keeping friends, until she hit her teenage years. As often happened, her clothing darkened along with her outlook on life. She hit the gloom and doom stage hard at thirteen and fourteen, thus distancing herself from a number of her childhood friends. Those who stayed with her, she grew even closer to until they became more like family than just friends. She grew out of the darkness somewhat, though sarcasm and cynicism stayed with her.

In 2009 Karis looked forward to the American release of the Digimon Tamer X. As the release date drew near anticipation grew, until the recall of all Digimon merchandise due to an unmentioned cause. The only thing left was the cards. Having been spoiled by the technological advances in the franchise, transitioning down to the cards was a stretch, but Karis did it anyway. She learned how to play quickly, her analytical and strategic nature benefiting her.

The growing popularity of the cards due to the recall did not please Karis. Jumping on the bandwagon, so to speak, is a sign of small-mindedness as far as she is concerned, and this was no different. Instead of joining the contests and tournaments she played recreationally with close friends, hoping the recall would be overturned.

Name: Zackary Devin Walker

Age: 16

Appearence: Zackary has silvery-gray hair that's spiky, usually because he puts so much hair gel in it he is often called "The Silverish Porcupine".

He has a medium build, his muscles are not visible, but one may not know he is surprising strong for someone his age.

He also has a large scar diagonally from his upper chest to his belly button, this is because he got into a fight once and did not win.

Personality: Zackary is what you would call "strange". He likes to eat anything (no really, anything if given the chance.) He is not very bright, he sleeps in too much, he eats too much, and he uses computers too much.

However, despite all of these flaws, Zackary is very compassionate to his friends, even willing to die for them, and he makes friends very, very fast. Although he may seem very stupid, which makes most people disrespect him, once they see how he feels about his friends, they then like him very much, or have the utmost respect for him.

Funnily, he also makes his friends very mad because of his bad habits.

Partner: FanBeemon.

FanBeemon is unlike his Tamer. This Digimon is very intelligent, able to get very difficult algorithims right, however he is clueless about common things, for he thinks he's "too intelligent" to be wrong. He is very arrogant, will not even admit he is wrong even if it is very obvious. However in battle, FanBeemon is a Tactian, trying to figure out his opponents strategy, so he can find the right moment to knock them out. However, when trying to figure out his opponent's weakness/strategy he often is open to attacks himself.


History: Zackary has never had anything interesting happen to him, except his older brother, Travis, had died 2 years ago. The cause of death was unknown, and Zackary was shocked his older, tougher brother who everyone liked had died. Zackary then swore that day to find out who did it, because he was sure his brother could only be killed by Human hands....
