    Digimon Universe: Gathering

The Digital World, a peaceful land, much different from the world we live in. One fine example of how different our worlds are, is the inhabitants of the Digital World. They are not human, but Digimon, a group of creatures that come in a variety of forms. Some may seem as cute as a puppy, while others may seem like something out of your greatest nightmare. But I digress…

The Digital World has gone through many hardships in the past. The revival of Lucemon, D-Reaper, the Digimon Emperor, the Dark Masters, MaloMyotismon, as well as many others. Every time a new evil arose, a new group of humans from the human world rose and defeated the evil. Even though these humans all came from different times, they were all connected by threads of fate. They all obtained their power from each other.

Five years after peace was restored in the Digital World via the defeat of the reborn, evil Lucemon, a new evil arrived in the digital world. An evil not from the Digital World, but the world of the humans. His name was Azra, a government scientist who had been studying the Digital World for years upon years, until he had finally discovered it's inner workings.

Azra arrived in the Digital World through a method called "Digital Dive" via machinery in Japan's DATS Headquarters. DATS is an organization in the real world that stops evil Digimon in the real world and sends them back to the Digital World as digitama. Without the authority required to do so, Azra performed a Digital Dive successfully, and found himself in the center of the Digital World. Using theories he had devised in the real world, he respawned all of the evil Digimon from the past by restoring their deleted data, and set them loose on the Digital World.

He soon became aware of the existence of the human children from the past, and pulled them all into the Digital World , from their time, in hope of destroying them.

The original Digidestined were the first to fall. Their trump card, Omnimon, could not even withstand the force of a reborn, evil, Lucemon.

The second generation of Digidestined fell next, Imperialdramon suffering a similar defeat at the hands of the combined powers of all four Dark Masters.

It wasn't long after that the Tamers were defeated. The Tamers, however, were defeated by two human boys and their partners that had been enlisted by Azra.

The children who wielded the Spirits finally fell at the hands of Azra's own partner, Armageddemon. Azran did not kill any of the human children, however, but instead kept them locked up in a Digimon prison deep underground, along with their partners.

Desperate to bring an era of light back to the Digital World, the Digimon Sovereigns called to the human world for help once more, as they prepared a Digimon army to rebel against Azra's dark organization, D.O.O.M.

The sovereigns sent six new Digivices to the human world, each capable of opening a Digital Gate. They had hope that the new Digidestined would help rescue the older Digidestined, and in return gain more power, so that together they could stop the darkness for good…

    Human
    Name: Lita Kawasumi
    Age: 12
    Gender: Female

Appearance: Lita is 5' tall and is still very thin and flimsy from being in the hospital for so long. She has brown hair that she wears in two pigtails that fall down to her shoulders, which are held by pink hairclips, and a pair of big brown eyes that accompany them. Even though it's summer at the time, she wears a white, long-sleeved shirt, a pink windbreaker overtop, along with a pair of tight jeans. She also always wears a pair of which running shoes, and carries a golden, heart shaped locket on a necklace around her neck.

Personality: Lita is generally a very sociable girl who likes to talk to others. She tries to act brave, but really only does so to hide the fact that she isn't confident in her abilities, and weak; both physically and emotionally. Like her partner, she doesn't like to fight, but will do so if desired. Lita doesn't speak much of her past, and has a severe fear of fire, something she can't hide.

Character History: Lita is David's sister, and the two were seperated during a fire two years ago. While David was taken in by his Aunt and Uncle, Lita was hospitalized for a year and a half with severe burns all over her body. Unaware that her brother was still alive, she was taken into custody by a friend of her family in Japan where she made an attempt to live a normal life.

    Crest/ Digi-Egg: Friendship
    Spirit: Kazemon of the Wind

    Digimon
General Personality: Biyomon has a very loving and caring personality, especially when it comes to Lita. Self-concious about her appearance, she doesn't like being insulted, but at the same time doesn't like fighting. When her mind is made up, however, she can be a strong opponent during battle.

    Mega: MarineAngemon

    Human
    Name: David Kawasumi
    Age: 16
    Gender: Male

Appearance: David stands at the height of 5'11", and has messy auburn hair which often covers his big blue eyes. Ever since he arrived in the Digital World, he's had his body covered with a brown, hooded cloak, which covered his face and outfit. Underneath, he actually wears a pair of blue jeans and a plain, white t-shirt, with a jagged, black 'S' on the center. Around his neck he wears a golden necklace, with what appears to be the second half of a locket on it. He wears black running shoes, as well as a navy blue baseball cap with a white version of the same 'S' from his shirt.

Personality: Even though David has been around evil for the last two years, he has been able to hold onto his positive beliefs. He doesn't agree with what he's doing, but he doesn't have the will to resist Azra and his cousin. Not to mention he's sure DemiDevimon is against him as well. Brave, rational, and outgoing, he isn't easily discouraged, and loves to fight.

Character History: David had his first run-in with a Digimon two years ago, when a DemiDevimon stole his muffin during a rainstorm. Soon after, he was attacked by a Monochromon running rampant in the city streets. This was when he recieved his digivice, and DemiDevimon digivolved to Wizardmon, saving him. Soon after, his cousin, Nathaniel, confronted him, claiming to have a Digimon of his own. Sure enough, he did, a Candlemon. It wasn't long after this that DATS found out about the two, and made an attempt to enlist them. The two refused until DATS had no choice but to use force, an all out assault. Seeing no other option, Nathaniel somehow opened a Digital Gate, sending them into the Digital World, where David found out that Nathaniel was working for Azra, and saw no other choice but to join him.

    Crest/ Digi-Egg: Courage
    Spirit: Agunimon of the Flame

    Digimon
General Personality: David's partner is nice and funloving. When it comes to battle, however, he is a very serious contender, and hates to lose. Brave, ferocious, and reliable, Agumon is a great friend. David isn't aware of BlackAgumon's existance, because he was locked up with the Digidestined, since Azra didn't want David under a positive influence. Thus, DemiDevimon was sent to be his partner secretly.

    Human
    Name: Robin Pryce

    Age: 17

    Gender: Female

Appearance: Robin's appearance has changed greatly over the few years, though the biological factors remain the same, such as her blue eyes, and very fair hair, matching her light skin perfectly. In the time where she's lived with her mother, she was said to have been growing up as quite the lovely young lady as this picture clearly shows. However after her mother's death, her sense of style changed greatly, and was soon seen in binding, and boys clothes, as you can see in this picture. She usually ends up wearing darker clothes, such as a black leather jacket, random T-shirts, as well as jeans. She also usually wears a variety of headbands in bold colors, furthering the image of masculinity.

Personality: Robin's current personality isn't too much different from how she used to be. Now she seems slightly detached most of the time, and usually only shows irritation, unless she's distracted enough not to bother covering up her emotions. Most of the time, she only shows that she has emotions through the strange jokes she tends to make from time to time. One of the few people she's ever open with, is her long time friend, Kaname.

Character History: Raised in a traditional American sense, she quickly transferred from public school to correspondence courses because of a case of ADHD that was rather intense at that time, and allowed to work at her own pace, she flourished. She had a loving father who was not only in the military, but spent several periods in Okinawa, and taught her several forms of self defense, including how to use a knife, and street fighting. But despite this, she seemed to be a fine young lady, until her mother left the family, with no explanation of any kind.

After that, she changed a great deal, and practically renounced her feminine side, devoting herself to her classes, both self defense, and correspondence. Shortly after the departure, her father decided to move as well, a great deal closer to a friend of Hers, Kaname. She never bothered trying to fit in with the kids, but with most believing she was a boy, she supported that rumor, and enforced it by getting into, and winning quite a few fights.

I walked over, slipping into one of the dressing rooms. It took me a moment, but I managed to change, stepping out as soon as I was done. "It looks pretty good..." I said, gazing at myself. I didn't know what most of these clothes were called, really, but I could find out on Google later. For now, I had to appear used to this. I turned, looking back at Miyako. "What do you think?"

I grumbled as I paced the hallways. This was a good place to get a bite to eat, and they had some good sports stores, but I never really got into the whole shopping and mall running thing. I was just happy I managed to ditch the others... "There's got to be something I can do." I said, grumbling as I stomped my way through the walkways, causing a small bubble of space around me in the otherwise crowded mall. "A vacation, I think I need a vacation from being around those girls..." I said, grimacing when I realized I couldn't think of how.

I looked to the side, and saw the head and shoulder mannequins with wigs in the shop of a jewelry store, displaying all kinds of necklaces and earrings, and further in, there were arms, legs, and even full mannequins for other sorts. I blinked in surprise, stopping. Then I slowly began to grin, a brilliant idea occurring to me...

    Human
    Name: Peter "Pete" Versey
    Age: 15
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Pete stands about 5'8", but looks about 5'6" because of his constant slouch. He has untidy black hair shading over a pale face with mean-looking green eyes. He wears rugged, torn blue jeans along with a grey t-shirt. Hanging from his neck is a necklace adorned with a velociraptor claw. He wears worn-black tennis shoes. Up and down his arms are many scratches and scars from unknown injuries that Pete himself doesn't even remember getting.
Personality: Pete is quiet and shy on the exterior, but don't let that fool you. Beneath a silent exterior is a sadistic boy with a megalomanic disposition. While he does have a clear sense of right and wrong, sometimes he'll completely ignore such to gain some of his own desires.
Character History: Pete was labeled a nerd growing up in his suburban home, and he never did anything to contradict that assumption. The quiet youth with the nerdy interests was often ignored by others because he never wanted to make friends or anything such as that. He would often immerse himself in imaginary worlds in which he ruled over everyone around him. When he was transported to the digital world, he saw the Digimon as his chance to gain the power he desired, but first he knew he'd have to do the right thing by helping to save the digital world.
    Crest/ Digi-Egg: Knowledge
    Spirit: Grumblemon of the Earth

    Digimon
General Personality: Armadillomon seems to take after Pete's megalomaniac disposition and always seems eager to prove his superiority to those around him and gain more power if possible.

Talbain was suprised to not see PH or Nicole attack immediately, though he didn't let his gaurd down just yet. He blinked once, and when he opened his eyes, only Nicole still stood facing him. Talbain sniffed the air, PH was still here, but he was moving quickly...very quickly. He was leaving his scent all over the room.

Talbain suddenly found himself encompassed by a red blur circling him like a crimson fog engulfing him. The swatted at the blur, but he hit nothing. The werewolf continually swung at the blur, but still he hit nothing.

PH took a momentary break from circling Talbain to whisper in Nicole's ear, "Try that Chi thing again, I have an idea."

PH returned to circling around Talbain to confuse him while Nicole's white fur started glowing with the Chi energy again. Talbain took another swat at PH, but he found his arm moving at extremely slow speeds. He tried to move his body, but it still remained in this slow-motion.

Jon finally saw PH again, but now he was jumping into the air holding Nicole above his head.

"Hey werewolf, like my slow motion?" PH shouted with glee.

When PH threw Nicole, things suddenly snapped back into regular speed. Like a lycanthropic torpedo, the chi-covered Nicole crashed into Talbain.

    Name: Kaname Hagiri
    Age: 15
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Kaname has deep crimson red hair, dyed black on the tips, in which he let's hang in his eyes in a stringy pointy mess. His eyes match his hair and their sharp gaze is never wandering. Across his right eye is usually a set of bandages that wrap diagonally around his head to cover his right eye and forehead, due to the scar that crosses across his forehead and across the very edge of his eye, stretching all the way to his ear. Over his torso is a mostly plain black skin-tight turtleneck, with a crimson stripe going from underneath his underarm around his shoulder. This marks the spot in which the sleeves can be easily pulled off, to become a sleevless turtle neck with red trim on where the sleeve's once were. Covering his long lanky legs are a pair of too-long black slacks, that drag slightly on his heels, but pile up on the top of his black cross-lace casual business shoes. Hanging across his ridiculously thin waist is a large heavy crimson red belt with a large black buckle. Sometimes he wears a black cloak-like jacket, that ends just above his belt, with a large white collar (pictured).

Kaname Hagiri, minus the annoying extra green text.

    His shirt/part of his outfit

Personality: Kaname fully fits the title, "Silent and Wise" as he rarely speaks what's on his mind. He is very quiet and sober, and rarely speaks or smiles. But unlike most silent people, he's not exactly your 'lone wolf', as he certainly doesn't dislike other people. He likes to go with the flow, and ignore the rest of the little perks that might arise from his choices. He is almost like the tall, dark, and handsome type, though he doesn't speak often. Almost. Kaname usually takes orders quite literally and he helps whenever anyone asks or needs it. Though he rarely talks, he is very kind and thoughtful of others, in his own silent way. When left alone, he seems like a brooding and irritable person, destroying the thought of him possibly being apart of the 'lone wolf', and his usual straight mouth sort of sags to eccentrate the glare he constantly wears while he is independent. When found in a good mood, Kaname is usually quite pleasant, though not smiling and blabbering pleasant, simply even more agreeable then he usually is, and more easily pleased. He's constantly very gentlemen-like, and it seems as though it's impossible for him to lose his temper, or become impatient.

Character History: Kaname's family has always been one of servitude. Most often, his parents would serve richer families, though in this way, it was simply their profession and talent, not because they did not have enough money to have a better job. Therefore, Kaname grew up constantly being ordered around to do this or that, by people who he couldn't refuse an order from. He soon learned that by putting aside his own thoughts on the command he was given, such as 'why was there no please?', he could do things faster, and more efficiently. Kaname became a 'perfect' servant, at a very young age, but the odd part was that, he seemed to have two faces. One, where he would not refuse a single order, and another where he would ignore every order thrown at him. He was told not to let people push him around, as an order, and he partially heeded this command. He grew very concious of first impressions, and decided on whether he would take orders from people or not from their first impression's on him. As he grew up in this way, he soon stopped taking orders from anyone, and simply helped whenever asked politely, or whenever he wanted to help himself.

OOC| Reserve me the spot of Sincerity. Oh, may spirits be used twice? You may have mroe than you need, but I hope I can get in -bows-

Oh, I better complete my profile ^^

    Human

    Name: Yukishiro Seiharu

    Age: 14

    Gender: Female ♀

    Appearance:

Seiharu actually had thigh-length black hair and eyes. However, she dyed her hair into light brown and wears pale cerulean contact lenses. Seiharu has tanned skin and long, tanned legs. She use these strong yet flexible legs to kick Pokeballs as her arms had broken once, and she's used to kicking the balls. She wears a typical Japanese highschool uniform (T-shirt sleeved) with the alternate colours of pure white and pale blue (her miniskirt's all white though) along with her pale pinkish boots and white leg warmers. Seiharu also wears black handpatches and a small hat that hung on her back from her lean nack. Preferably, Seiharu does resemble the Yellow in PokeSpecial, but perhaps much cuter and prettier (and lazier ^^)

Personality: Seiharu is an energetic and hyper lass with a cheerful and outgoing outlook, and a great passion for drawing and singing. Her happy-go-lucky and bubbly personality may cause her to land straight into trouble, but she believes that happiness is the cure for all. Seiharu-chan is very cute but her indolence is only revealed within her trusted friends, meaning to say that she's really her lazy self in front of her familair pals. Loyal and carefree, this elegant and creative pre-teen is somewhat selfish too. Seiharu yearns for praises, but she doesn't like it when people talk bad about her. Her small little brain will instantly teach her how to spite them back. Usually she uses her smartness for good purposes but when she gets fuming, her glare's the scariest part. Seiharu is shy to strangers but very open to her companions. Only her true friends and Pokemon know what she's like: Cheerful, happy-go-luck, optimistic. Of course, enduring her rare selfishness is not part of their timetable- they know when not to and when to insult the sweet and generous Seiharu.

Another part of Seiharu is her talent for singing and drawing. An elegant ice-skater, she also has the rare ability of understand things in a short period and keen senses.

Character History: Seiharu is actually Mimi's clone, or Mimi pretending to be Seiharu. After all the hoo-hah over the Digidestinied, Mimi fall into coma and was actually brought to a small village clinic. With all her hope gone, she wanted to erase her memory by forcing herself to sleep, but was eventually awakened with her memory still in mind. She couldn't do it. Now all Seiharu/Mimi wants is to finish everything, and live in peace with her Digidestinied friends.

RP Sample: The moonlight flashed across the sky and penetrated along the dark street, lending some light to early-birds. Dominated by the intense swirling , grey clouds , the usual cerulean blue sky was history. The Lavender had thrown itself over the night, leaving an impression of an uncalm weather .Peony cuddled her sling bag closer to her chest as a chill rippled down her spine. Fear engulfed her as a pair of bats skimmed past a solitary lamp post. Biting her lip, she quickened her pace through the damp , bricked ground and felt her skin turning cold and clammy. Face pale , she could feel herself flying as she desperately try to sprint out of the lonely street . Morning , 4.30 am and it's already so creepy . She shuddered and chased the thought of being attacked by wild Pokemon off her small , harmless and innocent brain , or so she thought . This is her new life . Her new beginning of a story about to unfold .

' Only for 4 months... 4 months ... ' Peony reassured herself confidently , then sweatdropped . ' I can't go on like this , ' She frowned . Reaching out for her sling bag , Peony 's sharp sense of auditory gave her some strange sensation . Not the blowing , mystical breeze , not the early rusting of newly fuddled leaves , and not the call of early birds . Her acute ears tells her that something is beneath the cold and deserted weeded by patches of ... dead matter . It once consisted of lush , green tress , blankets of thick , fresh grass shaped above by blooming flora and nature ... But now , it was all different .

Peony sighed . She knew something was going on , but what ? As she searched for her Pokedex , she reflected on her attributes . Peony was 100% self-esteemed that her sensation and predicts will be ... true. While opening her Pokedex[the one in the first season] , her decent vision scanned the area dominated by tall weeds and abadnoned plants . Something caught her eye , and she knew what it was now ...

She reached out for a half red , half white orb . Deep in thoughts , she pondered over which Pokemon she should use. Finally , a disadvantage usage will be the best to sharpen up her skills.

" Go , Coco ! " A blinding radiant beat the moonlight as a beautiful half pink, half white ball with seven glittering branches came out. Coco squealed as she saw the resolute opponent , Gloom.

" Coco , start off the battle with Icy Wind ! " Peony instructed . A gust of tornado with 80% of iciness came swishing towards Gloom. Her trainer , Beauty Becky ordered Gloom to use Stun Spore. Small littles circles of different colour came shooting towards the tornado. Some managed to break past and came swiftly towards Coco. Coco easily evaded that attack by swiftly adjusting her position as agile as possible.

"Coco , counter that with Spike Cannon followed by Bubblebeam ! And use Body Slam after that !" Coco's seven branches lodged countless spikes out and she spitted out a series of bubbles elegantly as the bubbles mixed with the spikes to form a confusing scene.Gloom was trapped and its accuraccy fell as it vision was not clear.

"Gloom! No , Gloom use leech seed ! " In the state of confusion , Gloom's seeds rode on the gentle breeze into different directions , but the spikes Coco released earlier on block them.

THUD ! The earth must have shook. Dozens and dozens of spikes and seeds invaded the ground. It was as if hooves of Ponyta was galloping across the Earth . "The bubbles are clearing ! " Becky informed the plant Pokemon. Peony smiled in the dark way .

"Coco , NOW !" Coco sprinted out of nowhere from the air above and dashed down legless like a Rapidash[imgaine that , ok?] . "Body Slam !" She braced herself on Gloom and with a BAM ! , both fall onto the earth. " Coco , Recover !"
    ...

Becky grated her teeth ."Watch out , Peony !" She gave a final warning as she picked up her beloved Gloom. " I'll beat you , JUST WATCH OUT !"

Peony sweatdropped again. " Uh , sure ... Do you need Coco to use Recover and-"

Becky shook her head . " Just be careful , nowadays surprise attacks are common . " Peony nodded and watched as Becky disappeared , mixing into the fog . The moon has disappeared and some part of the radiant Sun is showing .

" Coco ! Your nice , good ,very good , great , excellent , marvellous, wonderful, FANTASTIC !" Peony dashed over to the fatigued Pokemon . Peony herself felt her double eyelids being weighed down by fatigue , but she perservered on and praised Coco. "Let's get you some rest , alright ?" The Corsola too disappeared , dematerialized into the transparent light of her 'orb' ...

OK, I know, I know. All the spaces. I won't be using THAT form in roleplaying. If you wish, I'll edit the form so it looks better for you :)

    Since we have the neseccary number of members to start, I'll start at some point today. Probably later than sooner, however, as I just had some teeth extracted yesterday, so I'm not feeling the best. >>;

"Woe is me, woe is me…" I sighed to myself as I strolled down the aisles in the local electronics shop downtown. I had broken Kyle's computer while downloading some songs, and now I was the one buying a replacement! The worst part was, that this store was owned by the parents of one of the biggest bullies in my school. Not to mention the fact that I was one of his primary targets.

I had lived with Kyle and Sayuri for almost six months now, ever since I was released from the hospital. It wasn't a good feeling, you know. Having my family taken from me in a brutal fire, as well as suffering severe burns all over my body forcing me to always wear long-sleeved shirts and pants all of the time. Things didn't get much better after being released, either. Even though I missed a year and a half of school, I was placed in the right year, meaning I was a year and a half behind. I don't really have many friends, either. Lots of girls have tried to get close to me and be my friend, but I'm just not into the stuff they are. Not to mention I was born and raised in Canada, making me technically a foreigner in their eyes.

"Oof!" I suddenly felt myself being shoved, and everything suddenly went dark, a door locking behind me. I flung around and started banging on the door. Was it Kuzuma? Was this one of his pranks? Honestly! He was such a child! He had nothing better to do than lock me in what appeared to be a closet of some sort?

I hadn't been banging on the door for three minutes before a loud beeping sound suddenly filled my eyes, the light from a computer monitor suddenly filling the room. I spun around away from the door to face the computer screen, which simply read "It is time." Something in the pocket of my windbreaker suddenly started beeping. After pulling it out, I realized it was my cellphone, which displayed the same message. I leapt back into the door as the computer monitor suddenly began to brighten, a strange reflex causing me to hold the cellphone up to the screen. That was all I can remember before the feeling of being submerged underwater, and then… darkness.

I awoke sometime later, to the sound of someone calling my name. I jolted up, and found myself on what appeared to be a beach alongside a river. Wasn't I in the middle of the city? All of my clothes were soaked, but I was more distracted by what had been calling my name… a pink bird that stood at the height of my waist. "Lita! I've been waiting for you for a while now!" It chirped. "I'm Biyomon!" What had I gotten myself into…

I stood in the abandoned street, dressed in a black leather jacket, and wearing sunglasses, with a hunter green headband. When they saw my eyes, it seemed to hurt my intimidating image a little bit… "Whoa, whoa." The kid opposing us said, his eyes wandering to me. "This is a rumble, what's he doing with you guys? He's no Gaul." The boy to my right only smiled. "Honorary member as of yesterday, you should really keep up with current events, Jim." He said, and I grimaced. It was only so that I'd take part in this rumble. They'd pay me after it was over, and I was out of this gang again…

I looked around, and put away my switchblade and picking up the graphite walking stick Jim had tried to use. I grinned, it was light, and had some great balance. "My payment?" I asked the leader of the Gauls as he stepped up behind me. "Right here, Man." He said, and I held out my hand for him to slap a fold of bills in. "You made a huge difference there." He said, and I nodded. "That's why I charge." I said, causing him to chuckle and walk away. I blinked, looking down at the sudden flash of light. There was a palm pilot barely sticking out of Jim's coat pocket, and the screen was black, with pink, like flamingo pink text. "It's time." It was probably an error, or Jim could be a quantum leap smarter than he looked, and trying to send some computers a virus. That still wasn't excuse to get riled up, but I did. "My ass it is!" I yelled, stepping back and swinging the end of the walking stick straight for the screen in the same motion…

I blinked as I looked around, confused. I was in what looked to be a coastal area, near a river, and I could see the beach only a short ways away… I began to check myself over, making sure there were no stabs, gashes, bruises to the head, or anything that a needle being jabbed into me would cause. Nope, I was clean… I gazed around, and found the walking stick only a few feet away. I walked over, and as I started to lower myself to pick it up, there was a huge splash from the river, and I braced the stick upright with my weight behind it just in time as some… Thing, hit it head first. At least, I assumed it was it's head, it was right between it's eyes. "Uguuu…" It said in a soft voice, hitting the ground with spirals in it's eyes. It was the size of maybe a large dog… "Robin, you're just as strong as I hoped! It's great to finally meet you!" It squeaked, the sound odd coming from a mouth full of what looked to be reptilian teeth. "I'm Gizamon!" It added, slowly getting to its feet. I kneeled next to it, staring for a long moment, and soon the thing sweatdropped. "You know my name, and I'm suddenly in unfamiliar surroundings, with a giant, hairy frog talking to me." The thing opened its mouth in what I assumed was indignation, but I kept talking. "Therefore, I can only assume I was knocked unconscious in the fight, and while I'm laying on the pavement, one of those crack heads were breathing on me, causing this hallucination."

    OOC| I switched to Lobomon ^^"

"Can you get me a glass of water Kaname?" My mistress asked. She was my age, which made me feel much more comfortable around her, though, made her parents feel less comfortable with me around. She was very nice, polite, and she was pretty too. But I didn't feel attracted to her at all. I was her servant, and even if I didn't resent her, I did resent being the one ordered around, instead of the one giving orders. But I nodded silently, bowing myself out of the room and hurrying to get a glass of water. Yurine didn't mind if I took a long time- but I hated keeping her waiting. Now, my hurrying wasn't running down the servant's hallway, it was mostly just walking a little faster then usual.

I filled the glass myself- the cooks had already left, and me and my family were the only ones that stayed in the mansion itself. We worked for this family twenty four seven. It wasn't so bad- I was just glad that I waited on Yurine instead of the head Master. The Head Master got up so early, and my dad had to get up even earlier! I wondered if the Head Master ever went to sleep...it didn't seem like it. He'd go to bed extremely late and wake up extremely early. He always seemed to be busy, or doing something important. He always looked really stressed out too. Yurine would worry about him to me, but when we were no older then 10 and 9, she realized that talking to me wasn't much fun. I never really gave her a full response, but that was because I never gave anyone a full response.

"Anything else?" I asked placing the tall glass quietly on her glass nightstand.

"No, thank you very much." Yurine smiled, and I nodded, giving her a small smile back. She wasn't feeling well today, much like every other day. She was a sickly girl, and it seemed that her daily mission in life was attempting to make me laugh, or smile. But it usually ended up her making herself smile or laugh, which, satisfied me well enough not to push myself to smile or laugh for her. Sometimes she would ask me to go out and find something of interest, and tell her about it when I got back. I was always reluctant- leaving her alone in the mansion, but she assured me that the other butlers and maids could wait on her while I was away. She said she liked hearing my voice. It was deeper then most kids my age- not too deep though, as she liked to tell me. It had a sort of vibrating effect when I sang; not that I did anymore, but I did when we were kids. I talked a lot more back then too, but it still wasn't much.

It's almost like her life mission now, to get me to open up. Sometimes I wish we could trade places. Not just for the ordering and the money, but, what I would give to just be in bed all day- silent. With nobody but my servant to bother me. I wasn't always too thrilled when she ordered me against my will to go out and look around anyway. And yet, she was always thrilled whenever the doctors deemed her well enough to go out and explore for a bit. I was trained in fighting styles to 'defend' her in case someone tried to hurt her. I would always roll my eyes, but kept quiet nonetheless. She wanted freedom- I wanted to be caged. We wanted what the other had, and I suppose that gave us a silent respect for each other.

I nodded and stood beside the doorway. Yurine told me, "You can sit, if must be a pain standing all the time!", but that was just because she wanted to stand, like me. So, to ease her jealously, I sat down, and stared out the window, doing what she did to make sure she didn't feel any sadness at her weaknesses.

"The doctors say you should be well enough to go out by the end of the week- if you keep up your medications." I said, and she cheered up, not only from the treat, but from how much I'd spat out just to cheer her up. The reason I added 'if you keep up your medications' is because, like any invalid that had been invalid since they were eight, medications grew gross, old, and tiring, and Yurine often refused them.

"Go find somewhere interesting to go for Sunday!" Yurine piped up. I glanced at her. She never asked me with a 'can you' or 'will you' when she asked me to go out, because she knew my answer would be 'I'm sorry but I would much rather not'. I left without complaint, and Yurine told me to bring my cellphone with me- she wanted to talk to me the whole way through. Once I was out the door, my cellphone rang and I sighed picking up and saying, "Where do you have in mind?"

"I want to go shopping! To the mall! But I need a plan, otherwise we'll waste the time I have out of this accursed house." Yurine replied cheerfully. I nodded, but remembered I was on a phone, and replied, "Okay."

It was silent, though I could hear her breathing- signaling she was still there, and by the time I got to the mall, I'd already planned out a route for her, "Alright, I have your plan for Sunday." I said, and Yurine squealed with glee, though it was followed with a racking cough, "You should rest, or your Sunday won't be at the mall- it'll be in bed." She agreed, and hung up. I turned to go back but a computer monitor in a nearby shop was glowing a bright white- blinding almost. It was odd- nobody else seemed to notice. Then my cellphone's screen started to glow. I hadn't flipped it closed yet, due to the distraction, but by the time I pressed my fingers down to close it, the snap seemed to make everything black.

And then, I was hot. Burning for that matter. And my cloak wasn't even on- I could see it laying a few feet away from me. But the fact that I was wearing black, I suppose, didn't help at all. I was suddenly very interested in something I was never really interested in. Where was I? Last I remembered, there was no barren empty desert that spanned as far as the eye could see anywhere in Tokyo. Nor was there an artificial one for the rich. Who would want to vacation in a burning and barren desert? I stumbled to my feet, and picked up my cloak. But, a bluish gray puffball thing with wings and chicken feet blasted it away before I could grasp it properly, and it yelled, "OOOGAABOOOOGGAAA!!!"

I was surprised, I admit, but my face only showed light surprise, and the floating bird thing....calmed down, it's size no bigger then my own head as the floating...thing stared up at me with big confused eyes, "You sure can hold your ground." It finally said, breaking the awkward silence. I blinked.

"SO ANYWAY, Sorry about the rip on your blanket, I moved really weird and my talons kind cut through it you know?" The winged creature wiggled it's red talons to emphasize it's point. I remained silent, "Ohhh, so you're the I-don't-talk-to-people-because-they're-not-worth-talking-to kind of person huh?" The bird uttered all this in one breath, "Well I'm DemiDevimon, and you're Kaname Hagiri, and we're PARTNERS!!"

    I remained silent.

Dami Davi Mun or whatever sweatdropped in response.
