Dilema

    I have a dilema on my hands... of this generation I own Sapphire, Leaf Green, & Colloseum. I'm itching for another journey. Now, I can either:


    1) Buy Fire Red
    2) Buy Emerald
    3) Buy XD
    4) Don't buy anything, trade all Pokemon from LG to Sapphire, start over in LG.

    Option 4 is nice because then I can save for a DS Lite, which I could really use (right now I have the OLD GBA and a GBA Player for Gamecube)

    I'd like to hear your opinions & suggestions.
     
    Fire Red is cool and so is Emerald, I'm beating Emerald now for like the 10th time( I think.....)(Never get bored of it :))

    I don't have XD, soungs like a good game
    and you might like option 4 but I kinda dont... cause like I like the DS Lite but I don't want to start a new game over when I already played it, but it's just me(I get bored of it, lol....)
     
    the thing is... buying XD will be the only option that is a whole new quest.
    but, i've only played sapphire once, and i never get bored of the original Red/Blue/Green story.
     
    I'd get Emerald. Even though I played Ruby and Sapphire before, Emerald was a fresh breath of air. It's different.
     
    The added Frontier really does sound great. I suppose I could get Emerald, then get XD when the price drops, and ask for a DS Lite for Christmas...
     
    Well by Christmas you'll have Revolution to worry about, too...Go with XD and try to find it used at Gamestop or something (actually, I believe eBay has it relatively cheap).
     
    Go with Emerald. Not only does it have the BF, but all 3 Legis, you can choose your Lati@s, and the breeding is so much more advanced. In playability, Emerald is off the chart compared to the others.
     
    I guess I will go with Emerald, since I've logged nearly 200 hours into Sapphire (and I don't play video games that much to begin with!)

    On a somewhat related topic, which guide should I get with Emerald? Offical? Brady? Prima?
     
    None of the above. I would go to gamefaqs.com and print out a walkthrough for absolutely FREE.
     
    the downside to that is no there are no pictures to help.

    but yeah if you cant afford a guide go to gamefaqs
     
    no, i don't like net guides, most of the time i'll be using the guide in my room late at night or take it with me to friends' houses etc. thanks though
