    heej guys,
so I'm CreativeVision, or Vis as others already do.. I remember the good old days, my first pokemon game, pokemon crystal i got for my birthday. What a joy! Since then Ive kept up till around the time firered and leafgreen came about.
Thereafter i was just plain too old for it, or I thought. Recently I rediscovered pokemon from a different side though. Instead of playing Ive found fun in fusing, recoloring a few trainer sprites or even region map making. Especially creating all these fantastic and unique places for a new world.
Besides that I started writing some in english and my main language and hope someday to be able to write my own books.

    Everyone can dream right?! ;)

Hi there Vis. What a great ambition that you have, I bet that you'll make your own story someday. I did play Pokemon Crystal before, and I think it's one nice game. Btw, nice to meet ya, and I hope you'd like to talk to any of us PC users, we won't bite. I hope that you'll stick in here and enjoy in PC.

you guys won't bite huh? maybe i will ;)
thanks for the welcome. Even though I've played some games, Im no hardcore fan. I rather liked the idea of a whole new world in them to explore. Especially with ruby/saphire, the weather effects in certain areas made my day.

Welcome to PC Vis, I can see that creative is really in your personality.
maybe those Pokemon you fuse ain't bad, so maybe you can share us your sprites.
I'm out of words. Just have fun here and enjoy the rules. People here are nice and mature.
If you have any question or help, just ask our kindest staffs and moderators.

Thanks L (makes me think of deathnote)
they're not pokemon though, just trainer sprites, I might try my hand at pokemon fusing later.
my avi was the first I did, inspiration was a female indiana jones in honour of my own study, archaeology. I just had to haha.

(You'll have to reconstruct by placing the two dots back, since I don't have enough posts..)

since then I used more trainer sprites to fuse or edited limbs etc. getting progressively harder up til now.
I've limited the color palet in these to 16 colors, incl. transparant. As I read it in some guide the trainer sprites were limited to that.

It's indeed hard to find a place you can ask questions about that for example, but I think I found a thread in general pixel art discussions. Thanks for the tip though.

    Welcome to the forums Vis!!

I personally don't think you can never be too old for Pokemon. I honestly thought I'd stop playing the games around 17 or 18. And then I realized the former thought. It should matter how old you are when it comes to Pokemon. It's E for Everyone so anyone should be able to enjoy it! And it's such an addicting series that I find it too hard to put down. I keep buying new games and keeping up with the news on upcoming ones such as Pokemon X and Y. My love Pokemon may never stop and it's cool that you've getting back into Pokemon again. I know a lot of people have that moment where they lose interest and then get back into it years later!

What's interesting is that Pokemon fusing is what get you back into Pokemon! I suggest post a link to your DeviantArt in your signature. That way it's easier for people to find you and not as tedious and posted a link in a ton of your post and such. I also recommend the Pixel Art sub-forum in Art & Design. You should find a thread there for Pokemon fusions and recolors and you can post a few of them there. You can also post any other pixel projects from Pokemon and trainer sprites to anything else you create. There's many nice users here who will support you there. :)

See you around Vis and have loads of fun here! If you need anything, I advise you to contact a staff member who are in the bold colors (not me meaning lol). Anyway feel free to send me a message too! I love to talk with you. :)
