ash and gang travel so much that they camp for upto 3 or 4 nights
    calculate the distance between towns/cities
    if they travel
    1 day-
    2 days-
    3 days-
    4 days-
    5 days-
do reply and also explain your calculations
    (ex.they walk 10 km in 1 day )

I haven't done maths since I dropped it in year 10, but how is anyone actually supposed to do this?
There's nothing to calculate. We don't know how fast they're moving and we don't know long they're moving for. We don't have a map or a scale or anything to measure.
There's a good chance that I'm an idiot and I just don't understand because I haven't done maths in a year and a half, but this is how your question would sound in a classroom:

If it takes John three days to get from x to y, then what is the distance between x and y?
There is surely no way to answer this question.

And if you want me to create my own rule, such as 1 day travel automatically equals 10km, then what's the point of your question since their is no definitive answer?

P.s. sorry if I sound kind of harsh, but no one has replied to this thread yet and I can kinda see why.

Thanks for your time but i was just wondering that how the game distance corresponds to the anime distance

Well, the games are massively condensed down; they're linear in structure, and not open worlds. The anime isn't supposed to be a direct copy of the game world...although it'd be lovely if it was, because that would eliminate the vast majority of the filler and give us something very similar to the first few episodes of the anime, where the next major landmark was reached in 1-2 episodes.

But I digress. I suppose theoretically, the distance is proportionately the same, just with things cut out of the games and put into the anime for filler and so they don't overtake the games too quickly so we have an entire season of filler like the Orange/Decolora Islands/Battle Frontier again. But try and think about it too much and you'll probably want to curl up and hibernate until it all goes away...it makes no sense.

Especially when you factor time into it and remember Ash is still chronologically 10 despite having travelled across six continents.

From the Manga, we know it takes about 80 days to get around Hoenn. That is with a pokemon's help and getting sidetracked. For Sinnoh, you can get around in less than 80 days with the help of pokemon flying you over the mountain.

We also know that it took less than a year in Kanto because Ash was already in Johto before he was with Pikachu for a full year. Both Kanto and Johto are extremely small, so I would say about 4 to 8 months pass in Kanto and Johto each.

Hoenn takes about 80 days while in a race. Sinnoh takes around 5 months possibly without pokemon aid. Unova would probably be about a year. Kalos would probably be around 10 to 14 months. Alola would probably be about 2 to 4 months. Depending on how you spend your time for Alola.

Even though Ash is still 10, possibly 11. I think we can say he has probably been on his journey for about 45 months, not counting Alola. It is possible that it would take longer in Hoenn. Because Ruby and Sapphire split up, so if we double that, it has been about 48 to 50 months. And if you count Decolore, Orange Islands, and Battle Frontier, it has probably been around 58 months. So almost 5 years.
