I got a Raikou from a trade on the GTS and it said the Raikou was captured on Distant Island. Is there anyway to get there in the US version. I thought they were only obtainable in Fire Red and Leaf Green.

It means it came from Johto (unlikely) or the land from Pokemon Colleseum

Other pokemon that i got from kanto such as lugia and ho-oh say they were from kanto

Distant land means from the gamecube games if it is from kanto or hoenn it sill say so. And distant land can't mean johto because it is impossible to transfer from the 2nd gen games.

LOL at the staff member being the only one not to say it.

Could be a slight problem with the backwards compatibility. Probably nothing to worry about, just the location caught won't be as specific.

Why doesn't it just say, "Orre"? =/

Yea I'm bothred about this also. Orre is a place, why couldn't they just put where the Pokemon came from, be more specific other than "distand land"

The developers said that Orre was in a different dimension then the GBA and DS games actually, hence why it says Distant Lands.

And the game has coding that says from Johto, which is why people think a G/S remake is coming soon, along with all of the hints at it in D/P =P
