Hm

It is against the rules to post teams by Action Replay I believe, but your Physical Sweeper Arceus needs a Dark move

Except that I never said I had the team built already. In truth, I don't have even one Arceus, nor will I have one for a long time. I'm just planning ahead. Therefore, I'm not breaking any rules.

What Dark-type move would you suggest?

Make it Lonely/Naughty and in place of Avalanche (because it requires you to ALWAYS go last =P) use Dark Pulse. It may be Special, but without that move, there will no be necessary way to take down the likes of Levitating Ghosts (and perhaps Mewtwo?)

Two different walls :/

One should be special, while the other more mixed, which is your current one.

Special Wall
"image removed" @ Leftovers
Multitype
Bold
252 HP, 252 Special Defense, 6 Defense
Substitute
Toxic
Recover
Perish Song

Something like that, but with different moves, right?

It's a physical sweeper, so I'd require the move to be a physical one.

That wall is walled by any Steel types =D

Like I said, different moves. Also, I think the only uber Steel-type is an Arceus holding a Metal Plate.

I don't see the purpose of persih song at all. Just reduces toxic's power and your overall staying power.

If you don't play with clauses, which you obviously don't, that opens up more options.

Still, before I try to help, do you play with any other clauses? Like, eh, Sleep Clause, and especially OHKO clause?

And yes, one wall isn't enough.

lol

Well, no point in Perish Song if you can't Perish Trap, go with Will-o-Wisp

Did someone forget about Dialga?

Yeah, I did. Now can you leave the thread please? You're not helping at all. Thanks.

Nope, no clauses at all. I prefer a straightfoward fight without any strings.

Perish Song is like a reset button here. It takes a little prediction, but by using Toxic, then Perish Song, we both switch on the final turn. That cancels Perish Song, but also gives one of my other Arceus a fresh start to wipe out their Pokémon. Most of the Arceus I have posted, if not all, can handle pretty much any uber. If they switch earlier than the final turn, I can poison their next Pokémon before switching.

That makes sense. Tell me what you think of the above first, though.

You might want to make your Special Wall Arceus hold a Steel Plate, as most of the Special attacks in ubers (like Psychic, Dark, or Dragon) are resisted by Steel.

Of course, since you don't want my help, I'll be leaving now.

There are better ways to force a switch. Like sleep for example.

Well, doesn't no clause make this thread a tad bit pointless? I mean that takes out the strategy, plus Darakai can SPAM a Dark Void, outspeeding your whole team.

I'm not arguing your style of play. Still, might wanna consider that.

I don't think Arceus gets a move that causes sleep, does it?

The Metal Plate idea was good. Before now, you were just spamming and trolling, which is why I asked you to leave.

Well, there's the Quick Claw, and the chance that I'm using a Speed-boosting Nature and they aren't. For example, a Modest Darkrai against my Hasty Arceus.

Darkrai WOULD eat the team...unless there was sleep clause ;)

You might wanna watch out for groudon too. Really, a rayquaza would solve lots of your problems...

EDIT: there are other ways to force a switch...none I can think of, but there are plenty

This should help.

If I were building a general team, I would only use one Arceus. However, I'm not one to break a team's theme, and this team's theme is Arceus on its own, soooo...

Quick claw is a hax item...only a 10% chance of working. Hax items = fail.

Most Arceuses don't stay normal typed :/

Whay are you planning on doing about Darakai? A Choice Scarffed one will outspeed and Sleeo your entire team.

EDIT:QUICK CLAW?!?! Thats the solution? Hope & pray you can get lucky & outspeed it? Not good enough.

Let's not call them "hax items", because they aren't hacked for. "Chance items" would be more appropriate.

Anyway, I only said it was an idea.

I don't know. I personally don't use Choice Items at all. I think they're stupid. If you get stuck against a Pokémon who's resistant or immune to your choice of attack, you're screwed even with the extra power.

What would you suggest, hacking for 999 Speed? 'Cause I won't do that.
