Dixie's Scrapbook ツ​

Hello there readers. Dixie here. I'm just using this thread to post up some of my pieces.
I hope you guys like them. Comments and critique are most welcome. Thank you.​

You Are Me​

My heart quivers when I see you
My soul exposed​

I didn't choose you
And you didn't choose me​

It was not fate
And it was not destined​

It just simply happened​

I can see my life with you
And I see nothing without you
I am scared to say that
You are my addiction
My drug in other words​

You are my joy
You are my entertainment
You are me.
And I'm nothing without you​

Put this obsession I have for you
Because it is a fatal attraction. ​

Thank You​

I can't really see the future
But I know its bright ​

My heart is warm and my faith is strong
I know this fall is only just a setback
Because I shall be on top one day​

This moment of depression is almost over
And I feel optimistic about everything​

The stars, the moon and the sun are calling
They are calling me and drawing me in
They tell me to keep smiling and pull through​

And I'm strangely believing.
Thank you for making me believe.​

The View​

The cold morning breeze blew on my face
And I know this was the day that my life changed forever​

I could dance a thousand times, looking at my view
Its view could calm down wild bulls​

The wind in my face is so soft and angelic
That I miss it every time it goes away​

My imagination is going crazy
My thoughts haywire​

I have a lump in my throat
And its because the view​

The mesmerizing view that has captivated many
But only allowed me in to admire it a little longer.​

I love you because you are my view
You are mine. Forever and always.​

Although you are gone, I still feel you on my face.​

I never really cared too much about free-verse poetry, but despite all that, I really enjoyed reading these poems.

I see nothing but death​

Death.
What a grim word.
Its meaning means the end.
Its meaning causes fear in my heart
Can we not do this?
I mean, what will be our purpose without death?​

I fear death, im not afraid to say.
I sense my end coming.
I sense my destiny being revealed
but what shall i do to cheat death?​

I don't understand this
What happens after I part ways from my physical body?​

I am afraid to think about it
Afraid to know and understand what could be...​

Enjoying the moment doesn't fulfill me since i shall always be thinking about my next moment..​

When is my time up?
When is my fate sealed?
What happens after death?​

I know that my questions shall be answered after my time
and for that, I hope you're ready​

For your death.​

It has such a grim nature.
I think it's very well written. And believe me, Death may be sad, but it's not something to be dreaded.

It is very grim, this poem but my poems aren't that dark all the time. XD I was going through some issues at the time when I wrote it.​

Death is very sad but it's inevitable. :|​

I'll have a few new poems up in the next couple of days. ​

Are You Happy Now?​

My eyes are frozen open
Glazed over from this hideous sight
I never believe my distaste for you would be this bad
Desecrating my heart with your presence​

Go away and leave me be
Take away with you my endless night
Purge me from your existence
I cannot handle the pain no more​

As I walk away from you
I walk away from what could've been
Should've been
Might've been ​

I look through all the darkness and see a light becoming brighter
It's my future without you
Goodbye forever
I hope you never darken my doorway anymore​

I'm leaving and it's all thanks to you
Are you happy now?​

But please don't use white text, I have Blossom Shower as my theme and have to highlight white text to read it due to the light pink background.

I wouldn't use no more. 'Tis improper, so I'd say any more. But, it's poetry, after all.
