DmC: Devil May Cry

DmC Devil May Cry is an upcoming action game developed by Ninja Theory and published by Capcom for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will be the first title in the series not to be developed internally at Capcom. Instead, development will be handled by the English studio Ninja Theory, while the Japanese and American branches of Capcom will supervise the production creatively and logistically. The game is a reboot/prequel of the Devil May Cry series and will focus on a younger, more realistic version of Dante.

So, is anybody aware of the existence of this game? XD; I mean, yeah, there are QUITE a lot of awesome games coming out soon and this game's probably forgotten but..yeah, DMC is my fave series and I'm definitely keeping an eye on this game. As soon as it was announced last year at TGS, it recieved a lot of fan backlash due to the fact that Dante no longer had white hair and the game was being handled by a developer whose games hadn't made it big. Not to forget, the creative designer Tameem Antoniades wasn't really 'nice' to his fans.

What's the condition now? The concerns over how the gameplay might not be up to the normal 'Devil May Cry' level have been put to rest to a certain degree and a part of the fanbase who were extremely annoyed/angry with this game earlier seem to accept it a little more. Oh, and yeah, this game's plot is non-canon to the story of the previous games. Anyway, here are some trailers:

Oh, don't get me started on this game. I'm not a exactly purist, I mean I didn't mind DMC2, but this is too much change even for me. I'm not saying It'll suck, and I'll probably still get it. Who knows, it my be the best game ever. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, but my hopes are not high...

this is the game i reckon has gotten the most unnecessary hate i have ever seen. the atmosphere looks sweet, the gameplay is looking on par if not more diverse than the other dmcs (though my judgement is only based off dmc4), and as much as the new dante may not be as 'cool' as the old dante, he still looks alot better than a whole bunch of other gaming characters that have been created in the past decade.
i will most likely be picking this one up, when the price goes like what i do with every other game.
