Nah, I would make a lot of friends in any region, not just Ash. Like I said in my post earlier in this thread, I would love going out with my Pokemon and being free my whole life without the thought of getting a job. I wonder if they still have to pay taxes or maybe a fee for the Pokedex? :laugh:

I'd have Pikachu, Meowth, Lucario, Charizard, Grovyle, and Vaporeon. I'd just be a pokemon trainer (looking kinda like Red).

My pokemon team would be Gallade (lead), Electrode, Salamence, Typhlosion, Umbreon, and Swampert. Although my Gallade would be my lead, I would frequently switch him in and out with my Espeon. I would pretty much run around in a black cloak of destruction and run around pwning people all day. Like Ash and his extreme suckiness. That's how I roll.

I suppose so. Competing in the contests would be fun, especially if I got to see May / Haruka. But, like said before, I'd not like the bug Pokemon.

I've adimttedly imagined myself as one of the other trainers from Pallet Town who left at the same time as Ash and Gary. I would have started with Charmander, since that's my favorite starter, and occasionally challenge Ash or Gary to battles. Destroying a certain group of horrendously-incompetent Team Rocket members when they make feeble attempts at stealing Pokemon would be fun, too.

I agree about the bug-types. Personally, watching bugs from a distance is nice, but I really don't like it when one lands on me or something. I guess it's a good thing I'd be starting with Charmander! (Reports of massive forest fires near Viridian City still under investigation) Though I wouldn't mind having a Scyther on my team at some point.

My team would eventually consist of Charizard, Jolteon, Dewgong, Nidoking, Gardevoir, and either Scyther or Zangoose. If I could find and capture them, I'd put Zapdos and Suicune on in place of Jolteon and Dewgong.
