Do you build teams based on color?

Okay, it may seem odd to some of you, but do any of you actually build a Pokemon team based on each Pokemons' colors?

I actually base every team on color XD I cannot have a team of Pokemon with two Pokemon being the same color, it irritates me to no end. I must have a team of 6 Pokemon, each being a different type and each being a different color. I cannot have a blue Grass-Type (Tangrowth, Vileplume) on my team if I have a blue Water-Type (99.9% of them). It's like my team is clashing and I don't like that.

who cares?!? that seems kinda stupid.

Jeez, you're mean... -_- What do you base your Pokemon team on, huh?! Maybe Notch-Eared Pichu wanted to do something different!

Hee hee! I think that makes sense! I think it would bug me too, but I never really thought about it. Sometimes I randomly start to catch and train random Pokemon. One day it's cuteness, another day it's types. My Pokemon teams are crazy! ^_^

Never purposely though, although now I look at it none of my teams never have to similar colours most of the time. This just gave me the idea to build a team with only one colour though, so only have blue pokemon for example, I may just have to try that too.

I can't stand having Pokemon of the same color on the same team. I've tried it about four times, but never got over how much it bugged me. Plus, certain colors on Pokemon bug me if I'm looking for a specific type...can't think of an example at the moment though, lol.

My friends refer to me as the Rainbow Trainer (Not in a gay way =P) since I always have a variety of colors on my team. Hahahah

Some official tourneys in my country used to be held by the Monocolor Rule. I don't know if it happened in yours.

I've thought of using a Mantine/Gengar/Crobat team. It would be purple great!

Um, no. One, I prefer some differentiality in my party, so different colors would do. Two, I don't like seeing one color all the time. Three, it's uber-hard to find Shiny Pokemons of the same color to fill up your team.

Only once I care about my Pokemon's colors, this was when I was playing a monocolor challenge. It was (for lulz reasons) a pink team end ended in Wigglytuff mashing anything on its own for most of the game.

I am the exact same lol! I thought I had some form of OCD!

I once did this in FR for the lolz with Red ...

It went disastreous . No one could kill a thing ....

    ... Yes I have. :D

I just find it annoying when I have two blue, green, yellow, etc. pokemon on my team. It's either they are all the same color or they are all different colors.

    Purple could be-
Gliscor, Gengar, Crobat, Starmie, Espeon, and Ambipom perhaps.
Yeah, perhaps. What about Dewgong, Togekiss, Froslass, Absol, Vigoroth, Butterfree?

This is not a rate my team thread, but since you started.. rate my white team, please.

You know, now that you mention it... you are right, i've never liked to have two pokemons of the same type but i've never checked the colors :)

I've done it with yellow. Not the game, the color :3

Jolteon, Electivire, Ampharos, Raichu (Well, his tail's yellow :'D)and Luxray. Then again, this was for an Electric monotype but still :3
